包装紙Bの前辺が垂直固定板53と抑止板54と
の間に、一方後辺がフインガー手段4上に適正に
夫々挿入・載置される。

ーブル3上を通過することとなる〔第4図ハ参
照〕。斯かるテーブル3の下降静止とフインガー
手段4の往復動のタイムプログラムは、板カム9
5の形状、テーブル3の上下ストローク幅及びフ
インガー手段4の往動開始点の位置の設定等によ
り適正になされる。そしてテーブル3の下降の
際、包装紙Bの前辺は上記抑止板54と固定板5
3とにより挟持されて引つ張られるようになつて
起立B2し、また後辺はフインガー手段4の水平
フインガー部片41により起立B1し、これら起
立片B1,B2は、前記抑止板54と固定板53と
の挟持抵抗を受けて前後に引つ張られて所謂胴押
えがなされ、包装紙Bは弛むことなく被包装物A
の形状に忠実に折畳まれる。

5によつて完全に被包装物Aの両側部に折込ま
れ、それらの上端部はその上面から突出する。こ
れら折畳紙片B4,B4の上端部は、折込部材8の
側辺81,81によりその上面に折畳まれ、封緘
テープ貼付装置2bによつてテープ短片tで前後
方向に接着され、全ての包装作業が完了する。

又皺を生じること無くきれいな折り込み線が出る
ように折込まれ、且つ半開きの下側折畳紙片B4
B4内に上側折畳紙片B3,B3が入り込むように合
理的に折り込まれ包装の仕上りがきれいになるば
かりではなく、自動連続包装作業をスムーズに続
行することが可能になる。

方に設けられた上部及び下部の折込手段6,7に
よつて折畳み紙片B3,B4を被包装物Aの左右両
側面上に折込んでいく包装装置において、上記上
部折込手段6は、被包装物Aの幅に対応して左右
に垂直状態で隔設された一対の矩形折込板60,
