手段4の往復動のタイムプログラムは、板カム9
5の形状、テーブル3の上下ストローク幅及びフ
インガー手段4の往動開始点の位置の設定等によ
り適正になされる。そしてテーブル3の下降の
際、包装紙Bの前辺は上記抑止板54と固定板5
3とにより挟持されて引つ張られるようになつて
起立B2し、また後辺はフインガー手段4の水平
フインガー部片41により起立B1し、これら起
立片B1,B2は、前記抑止板54と固定板53と
の挟持抵抗を受けて前後に引つ張られて所謂胴押
えがなされ、包装紙Bは弛むことなく被包装物A
の形状に忠実に折り畳まれる。

5及び全部折込部材76,76によりその側部下
辺にきれいな折込線が付されながら完全に被包装
物Aの両側部に折込まれ、それらの先端部分はそ
の上面から突出する。これら下折畳紙片B4,B4
は、次の折込手段8の突出片86,86が外側に
傾動していた位置から内側に起立状態に揺動する
ことによつて被包装物Aの側部お及び上面に密着
的に折畳まれ、封緘テープ貼付装置2bによつて
テープ短片tで前後方向に接着され、全ての包装
作業が完了する。この第3の折込手段8,8によ
る折込みは、前工程の折込板60,60の下動と
同期して行われることになり、上動時にカム板8
3によつてローラ82を介して揺動板84,84
及び突出片86,86を圧縮スプリング88の弾
力に抗して外側に傾動させ、折畳紙片B3,B4
上向き半開き状態の被包装物Aを受け入れること
になるのである。
