(Prior art) It is believed that the above-mentioned flash-flash accidents caused by birds as a medium account for a considerable portion of power outage accidents of unknown cause. It has been found that most accidents occur when the tip of the wing comes into contact with the arcing horn on the opposite side when the aircraft stops and extends its wings. Such accidents are called bird damage, and various prevention devices have been devised to prevent them, but the representative one is shown in Utility Model Application Publication No. 175425/1983. The arcing horn was covered with an insulating cover to prevent birds from coming into contact with the arcing horn. However, such an insulating cover has the risk of burning due to the high heat and staining the insulators by generating soot when a flash short circuit occurs between the arc horns during a lightning strike and causes the insulator to become dirty. The problem remained that the cover inhibited arc formation and affected the flash characteristics of the arc horn. Therefore, conventional bird damage prevention devices require inspection every time there is a lightning strike, and the burden of maintenance work is heavy.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention supports at least one of the arc horns attached to both sides of the insulator chain via a small insulator at the end of the insulator chain. The auxiliary arcing horns are provided facing each other on the arcing horn side and the insulator link side that sandwich the insulator, and the distance between the auxiliary arcing horns is set to a size that can withstand at least the ground voltage when the arcing horns are electrically connected. It is characterized by:

(Embodiment) Next, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the illustrated embodiment. In Fig. 1, 1 is an insulator chain, 2 is a mounting bracket for attaching this insulator chain 1 to a steel tower arm, and 3 is a clamp for holding a power transmission line. It is a metal fitting. Further, numerals 4 and 5 are arc horns attached to horn attachment fittings 6 and 7 on both sides of the insulator chain 1. In the present invention, at least one of these arc horns 4 and 5 is attached to the horn mounting bracket 6 at the end of the insulator chain 1.
This is a small gap type horn device A supported through a small insulator 8. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the small gap type horn device A has a pair of upper and lower ends of the small insulator 8, that is, the arc horn 4 side and the connecting fitting 12 side of the small insulator 8, so as to sandwich the small insulator 8. Sub-arc horns 9 and 10 are provided with their tips facing each other on both sides of the arc horn 4 in the right angle direction. In order to prevent bird feathers from coming into contact with the upper and lower ends of the auxiliary arc horns 9 and 10 at the same time, it is preferable to provide a step l as shown in FIG. teeth,
It is preferable to provide an arc fixing horn 11 protruding in the direction of the insulator chain 1 so as to pick up an arc generated on the creeping surface of the insulator chain 1 due to contamination into the sub-arc horn 10. As shown in the figure, the small gap type horn device A is preferably provided on the mounting bracket 6 on the ground side, but it can also be provided on the power supply side.

Although the sub-arc horns 9 and 10 are shown as rod-shaped in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, they can also be shaped with their tips in a direction perpendicular to the arc horn 4, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, for example. It may also be in the form of a two-part ring protruding from the arc horn 4,
It is also possible to have a structure in which the small insulator 8 and the connecting fitting 12 are removably connected with bolts. Furthermore, a contact prevention piece 13 is provided to prevent bird feathers from coming into contact with the arc horn 4 and the arc fixing horn 11.
may be provided on the arc horn 4 so as to be perpendicular to the arc horn 4. Also, as shown in Figure 5,
A pin 14 may be provided on the upper surface of the arc horn 4 to prevent birds from perching thereon.

In the present invention, the distance L between the auxiliary arc horns 9 and 10 is made large enough to withstand the ground voltage even when the arc horns 4 and 5 are electrically connected by a conductor such as a bird. Specifically, in an insulator device that supports a power transmission line with a transmission voltage of 33KV, the ground voltage is 20KV, and the insulation interval for this is 30mm, but it should be set to 40mm to take into account installation errors, inclinations, and water droplets. It is sufficient.
Further, the sum of the distance between the auxiliary arc horns 9 and 10 and the distance between the arc horns 4 and 5 is set to be the same as the distance between the horns of the existing insulator device in order to ensure insulation coordination with the power transmission line. For example, in a 33KV power transmission line, if the horn spacing of the existing insulator chain is 296mm,
The secondary arc horn spacing is 40mm, and the main horn spacing is
It should be 256mm.

(Function) The device configured as described above is used to support a power transmission line in the same way as a normal insulator chain, but in the present invention, arc horns 4 and 5 are installed between the power supply side and the ground side. Two gaps are formed: the gap between each other and the gap between the auxiliary arc horns 9 and 10. Therefore, even if a bird were to cause electrical continuity between the arc horns 4 and 5, the ground insulation gap between the sub-arc horns 9 and 10 would still be ensured and a flashover accident would be prevented. Flash-flash accidents are unlikely to occur, except in the unlikely case that two gaps are simultaneously shorted by birds. Moreover, in the present invention, the distance between the arc horns 4 and 5 and the sub-arc horn 9,
10 can be made the same as the horn spacing of the existing insulator chain, so there is no problem in terms of insulation coordination. Also, unlike conventional bird damage prevention devices, in the present invention, at least one of the arc horns 4 is supported in an exposed state through the small insulator 8, so that the flashover characteristics of the arc horn may deteriorate and the arc resistance may deteriorate. The characteristics are not impaired, and the insulator chain 1 is not contaminated by soot emitted from the insulating cover when an arc occurs as in the prior art. Furthermore, in the present invention, the small insulator 8 supporting one arc horn 4 is sandwiched between the sub arc horns 9 and 10.
Since the insulator device is provided with an arc horn, there is no change in the overall length of the insulator device, and there is also the advantage that it can be used simply by replacing the arc horn of the existing insulator device. Although the above embodiments relate to tension-resistant insulator devices using suspended insulators, as shown in FIG. Needless to say, it can also be applied to insulator devices. Further, the connecting fitting 12 may not only be fastened to the horn mounting fitting 6 with bolts and nuts, but may also be tightened with bolts and nuts tied to the cap fitting 15 of the suspension insulator as shown in FIG.

(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above description, the present invention can almost completely prevent bird damage, and there is no risk of impairing the flash flash characteristics or arc resistance characteristics of the arc horn. The installation work is also easier compared to the insulating cover type. Furthermore, the present invention allows existing insulator devices to be used as is.
Since it has the advantage that the overall length of the insulator device does not become long, it can make an extremely large contribution to industry as a bird damage prevention device that eliminates the problems of conventional devices.
