[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to wood used for architecture, furniture, furnishings, etc., and a method for manufacturing the same. [Prior art] Japanese architecture, furniture, furniture, etc. use patterns such as wood grain to highlight their beauty. Conventionally, for this purpose, the wood was simply polished and a coating such as lacquer was applied on top to protect the wood surface. Therefore, it was difficult to increase their value as art or crafts.

The present invention overcomes the above-mentioned problems, and uses metal to emphasize the fine surface grooves of the wood grain, and as a result, indirectly emphasizes the wood grain pattern, thereby creating a tokonoma that is highly valuable as art and crafts. An object of the invention is to provide wood that can be used for architecture, furniture, furnishings, etc. [Structure of the Invention] In general, polished boards, square timbers, logs, etc., have fine grooves on their surfaces. In particular, as shown in Fig. 1a, there are many grooves c concentrated near the wood grain b.

According to the present invention, a paint made of natural resin or synthetic resin such as lacquer is applied to the surface of this wood, and metal such as powder or foil is pasted into the fine grooves that remain near the wood grain after this painting. By rubbing together with the metal, the fine surface grooves caused by the wood grain are emphasized by the metal, and as a result, it is possible to obtain wood whose wood grain pattern is indirectly emphasized.

Example 1 (1) Waterproof paper on the wood to be processed, zelkova wood
Polish the surface using a No. 320 and No. 200 artificial whetstone until the surface is flat (wood polishing process) (2) Next, to prevent the wood from absorbing the paint, dissolve the wood in water and rub it with a cloth. After that, spread it evenly with a dry cloth (filling process) (3) Next, use a mixture of 8 parts persimmon shiv and 2 parts Benigata to color the wood and let it dry naturally (coloring process) (4) Wood Spread the lacquer with a spatula and wipe off excess lacquer with a cloth before drying. Preferably, this process is repeated several times (first lacquer process) (5) After letting the lacquer dry naturally, leave it for 2 to 3 days and smooth the surface with waterproof paper No. 1000 to 1200 and at the same time make it matte ( (matting process) (6) Perform the above-mentioned lacquer printing process (second printing process) (7) After the lacquer from (6) has dried, use a spatula to embed a mixture of commercially available glue and gold powder into the grooves around the wood grain. . The mixture of glue and gold powder on the parts other than the grooves is then wiped off with a damp cloth fixed with a spatula (gilding process) (8) If a protective coating is to be applied, the above-mentioned urushi process is also performed. If this lacquer is applied once, the gold color will be excellent, and if it is applied twice or more, the product will have excellent durability (protective coating process).Example 2 (1) to (6) of Example 1 The following steps are performed: a wood polishing step, a sealing step, a coloring step, and a first lacquer printing step.

(7′) After the lacquer has dried, use the lacquer as an adhesive so that the gold leaf can be pushed into the grooves around the wood grain. After the lacquer has air-dried, the gold leaf on the areas other than the grooves is wiped off with a dry cloth fixed with a spatula (gilding process) Next, the protective coating process (8) of Example 1 is performed.
