In general, polished boards, square timbers, logs, and other wood have fine irregularities such as grooves on their surfaces, and as shown in Figure 1, many grooves 3 are concentrated near the grain 2. have. According to the invention,
By applying a paint made of natural resin or synthetic resin such as lacquer to the surface of this wood, and applying a treatment that leaves black lacquer in the fine areas near the wood grain that remain after this painting, the fine surface due to the wood grain is The grooves are emphasized by the black lacquer, and as a result, it is possible to obtain wood whose grain pattern is indirectly emphasized. Further, in order to prevent the black lacquer remaining in the grooves from being removed, if necessary, a protective coating such as lacquer can be applied after the black lacquer is treated to remain in the grooves.

(1) Water-resistant paper on treated wood, zelkova wood
Polish the wood using a No. 320 and No. 200 artificial whetstone until the surface is smooth (wood polishing process) (2) Next, to prevent the paint from being absorbed into the wood, dissolve the tonoko in water and rub it with a cloth. . Then spread it out evenly with a dry cloth. (Filling process) (3) Next, the colored wood is air-dried by mixing 8 parts of persimmon shib and 2 parts of red pattern. (Coloring process) (4) Spread the lacquer on the wood with a spatula and wipe off the excess lacquer with a cloth before drying. Preferably, this step is carried out several times (first lacquer printing step) (5) After letting the lacquer dry naturally, leave it for 2 to 3 days and use waterproof paper No. 1000 to 1200 to smooth and matt the surface at the same time. (Matte process) (6) Perform the above-mentioned urushi lacquer process. (Second lacquer printing process) (7) After the lacquer from (6) has dried, apply black lacquer with a spatula so as to embed it in the wood grain. (Lacquering process) (8) When applying a protective coating, the above-mentioned lacquering process is further performed. If this lacquer is applied once, the black lacquer will have an excellent color tone, and if it is applied twice or more, it will have excellent durability. (Protective coating process) The present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and although zelkova wood was used in the above embodiments, any wood such as pine, cedar, paulownia, etc. may be used. In the above embodiments, lacquer was used in the lacquer printing process, but the process is not limited to lacquer, and may also be natural resin paint or synthetic resin paint. Furthermore, although lacquer was used as the protective coating in the above embodiments, the protective coating is not limited to lacquer, and other natural resin coatings or synthetic resin coatings may be used. Examples of synthetic resin paints that can be used in the above-mentioned lacquer process and protective coating process include Kashiyu (trademark name of Kashiyu Co., Ltd.) and Pearl (trademark name of Zett Shokai Co., Ltd.).
