中空縦材と横材を互いの接触壁で交叉して接触
させ、その状態に固定する中空縦材と横材の交叉
連結方法において;
上記横材の接触壁には先端を上記中空縦材に向
けて突出する一連の鰭条を設け、この鰭条には中
空縦材を連結する位置に、中空縦材と同幅で、横
材の接触壁に達する切欠部と、上記切欠部内で中
空縦材に向けて突出する突出片とを設け;
又、中空縦材には接触壁に上記突出片を受入れ
る横方向のスリツト、両側壁には前記切欠部と隣
接した鰭条の両先端に対向する開口を夫々設け;
上記鰭条にある切欠部に中空縦材を嵌込むと同
時に前記突出片を中空縦材のスリツトから中空部
内に挿入して両材の接触壁同志を交叉して接触さ
せ、次いで縦材の中空部内で突出片を縦材の接触
壁の内面沿いに折曲し、且つ前記切欠部と隣接し
た鰭条の両先端を変形して縦材の両側壁にある開

た鰭条の両先端を変形して縦材の両側壁にある開
口に突入させることを特徴とする中空縦材と横材
