本発明はバー材の突切り加工方法に関し、特に
原材料のバー材より製品を突切り切離す時に製品
端面中央に発生する突起対策を行つたものであ

Aとの継ぎ部の断面積は少なく、ねじりに対して
弱くなり、ついには破断してしまう。これが突起
Fとして製品に残存してしまう(第1図ロ,ハ,
ニ,ホ参照)。そのため通常は2次加工機、もし

対し全長が小さい製品等は製品が突切り時に傾い
たり、製品と保持具との摩擦等によりバー材と製
品との回転差が生じたりすることにより突起が発
生していたため倒れ防止として製品を把握し、又
製品とバー材との回転差を無くすようバー材と製
品を同期モータ等により回転させなければなら
ず、設備の高額化を招いたり、設備の高額化を避
けるため手作業にて突起を除去する等余分な工程

主軸側チヤツクにて突き出され固定し、回転が与
えられる。そしてワーク部の必要なる加工を行
い、突切り工程時には製品保持具台13上に取付
けられた排出兼製品保持具12が前進して製品を
保持しながら突切り加工される(第3図イ,ロ,
ハ,ニ参照)。突切り終了前には突切りバイト1
0に軸方向への動きを付加し(第3図ロ,ハ,ニ
のバイト動きを示す点線矢印参照)、従来生じた
突起を製品の凹状部17内に形成するよう削りと

台を有するとともに製品を抱持するまで移動する

品を保持した後まず突切り用工具に径方向への動
きを与えて突切り加工を行い、突切り終了前に径
方向と軸方向への相対的な動きを与え突切り終了
時製品端面に発生する突起の外周部に凹状部を形
成することにより、該突起先端を製品端面より突
出しないようにすることを特徴とするバー材の突
切り加工方法。1.
