るコーテイング剤を果実類、野菜類等に塗布する
と、極めて奇麗な艷のある被膜を形成することが
でき、更に通気性があり、果実類、野菜類等の腐
敗を防止できることを見出し、本発明を完成する

[作 用]
カニ、エビなどの甲殻類の甲羅や節足動物の外
皮にはキチンという物質が蛋白質や炭酸カルシウ

トサンは2−アミノ−2−ジオキシ−D−グルコ
ース(D−グルコサミン)がβ−(1→4)結合
した直鎖状の多糖類である。キチンやキトサンは
人畜に対してほとんど毒性の懸念がなく、生体適
合性が高く、生分解性であるため、傷口の治瘉
剤、皮膚剥削後の創面被覆材または手術用糸等の
医学、薬学分野で応用研究が盛んに行なわれてい
