て好適なシート表皮の製造方法に関するものであ

従来の技術

点がある。また、その防水性フイルムは座席の側
面部まで滑り込んでまるまり、シート表皮の外表
面に凹凸が生じて外観を見苦しいものにする虞れ

置するような裏打ち材の垂み部分を裏打ち材の裏
面側に折返して偏平に当て、その折返し代を裏打
ち材に溶着或いは接着等で水密状に接合して封止

で引張する。この引張は糸縫い個所4a,4a…
が垂ませ部分3a,3a…を折返した内側に位置
する方向に行い、その引張で成形できる折返し代
3a′,3a′…を裏打ち材3の裏面に当てる(第4

打ち材3に水密状に接合する。その接合にあたつ
ては高周波ウエルダー、ヒーター加熱等による溶
着を適用するとよく、下型W1をワデイング材2
と裏打ち材3との間に挿入して折返し代3a′,3
a′…を上型W2で押圧溶着することができる(第
5図参照)この溶着に代えて、折返し代3a′,3
a′…を接着剤で裏打ち材3に貼合せることにより
糸縫い個所4a,4a…を水密状に封止すること

側に折返して偏平に当て、その折返し代を裏打ち

たことを特徴とするシート表皮の製造方法。1.
