Therefore, there are limitations in terms of design, and the convex portions are prone to chipping.Furthermore, even if the surface is painted, the fuzz in the concave portions appears on the coating surface, making it impossible to obtain a good coated surface, and the bottom surface of the concave portions is damaged. It had some drawbacks, such as being monotonous and lacking a sense of luxury or solidity.

があつた。 On the other hand, in the case of embossing described in (b) above,
It is possible to form an appropriate uneven pattern on the bottom surface of the recess at the same time as embossing, but since the surface layer of the substrate is compressed and deformed by the pressure of the mold material, the edges of the recessed pattern become rounded and the pattern becomes uneven. If there is no sharpness and if the specific gravity is large, the amount of deformation will be small and the depth of the pattern will be limited.
The base material was compressed and destroyed, resulting in a decrease in strength, and when delicate patterns were applied, cracks appeared on the surface, resulting in a lack of cosmetic properties.

ものである。 The present invention was made in view of the above-mentioned problems. After providing a decorative layer such as a wood veneer on the surface of a wood fiberboard, a laser beam treatment is applied to penetrate the decorative layer and reach the wood fiberboard. Dig a concave pattern,
This is a decorative material that is formed by melting fibers on the bottom surface of the concave pattern to create a satin-like uneven surface. The contrast between the decorative layer and the concave pattern, that is, the combination of different materials, provides a unique appearance, and the concave pattern To provide a decorative material for a decorative surface, which has a satin-like textured rough surface, is rich in variation, gives depth to the pattern, and makes the decorative layer stand out even more.

is a plate-like material mainly made of wood fibers, and this wood fiber board 1 is made of wood fibers alone or with pulp, wood fibers, etc.
A mixture of waste paper, synthetic fibers, etc. is used, and its specific gravity is preferably 0.35 or higher.

If a convex pattern of an appropriate shape is formed in a concave part, the convex part becomes brittle and easily chipped. From this point of view, it is desirable to use a material with a specific gravity of 0.35 or higher. Note that the surface may be strengthened by coating and impregnating the surface layer with a resin liquid in advance.

However, when a fibrous wood material such as wood fiberboard is irradiated, the wood components around the excavated area, especially near the bottom, reach a melting temperature due to vaporization and transpiration, causing lignin, hemicellulose, etc. Melting occurs.

る。 This phenomenon also occurs when a wood material is irradiated with a laser beam; however, in the case of wood materials, only a portion of the cell wall melts, and there is no apparent change in the bottom of the concave. (However, unevenness can be seen due to the difference in density between spring wood and autumn wood.) In the case of fiberboard, which is formed into fibers, the fibers near the irradiated area will melt entirely, and the fiberboard itself will be slightly damaged. Visually, there is a density difference due to the entanglement of the fibers, so the strongly entangled areas melt and become lumpy, and the weakly entangled areas (sparse areas) sink in, and the bottom of the irradiated area becomes carbonized black-brown fine particles. It begins to exhibit an uneven rough surface, a so-called satin-like uneven surface.

Can be easily evaporated and penetrated.

のである。 As described above, the present invention irradiates the surface of a decorative material base material, which is formed by providing a wood veneer or other decorative layer of an appropriate thickness on the surface of a wood fiberboard, with a laser beam, and penetrates the decorative layer to create a wood fiberboard. This is a decorative material in which a concave pattern deep enough to reach the fiberboard is dug, and a matte-like uneven surface is formed on the bottom surface of the concave pattern by melting wood fibers. The contrast is sharp, creating a solid feeling, and the uniqueness of the appearance due to the combination of different materials is exhibited. In addition, since the concave pattern surface is a satin-like uneven surface, it is rich in variation, and the pattern is unique. It becomes deeper and makes the convex parts of the decorative layer stand out.Furthermore, since the wood fibers on the concave pattern surrounding wall are melted and solidified, the adhesion to the decorative layer increases and the peeling of the decorative layer at convex parts is reduced. It is.
