The present invention relates to abrasive-containing liquid cleaning compositions useful for cleaning tableware, kitchen utensils, and other hard surfaces. The use of liquid detergents as detergents for dishes, etc. is of course well known, but recently liquid compositions containing abrasives have been proposed.
It is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 51-50909. However, these products place emphasis on performance as a cleanser, and when used diluted, they have the disadvantage that their foaming power and cleaning power are significantly lower than that of so-called kitchen liquid detergents. In addition, a liquid cleaning composition containing an abrasive has been proposed in JP-A-56-38397, but the composition shown in the examples has insufficient performance as a cleaning agent and is difficult to disperse the abrasive. Thickeners have been used in the past, but the stability of the compositions is not always satisfactory. That is, the thickening effect of organic thickeners is inhibited by the activator blended for this purpose, making it easier for the liquid to separate. This tendency becomes more pronounced as the amount of active agent added increases. On the other hand, inorganic thickeners have a smaller tendency to be destabilized by activators than organic thickeners, but their viscosity changes over time.
There are problems such as a decrease in stability due to vibration. The present inventors have developed an abrasive that has sufficient cleaning performance as a kitchen cleaner, has a special cleaning effect (particularly greatly improves the finish of tableware, etc.) using an abrasive, and has excellent storage stability. As a result of intensive research to provide a liquid cleaning composition containing
The present invention has been completed by discovering an abrasive-containing liquid cleaning composition with excellent storage stability that can achieve these objectives by containing certain components as essential components. That is, the present invention provides an abrasive-containing liquid cleaning composition characterized by containing the following six components (a) to (f) as essential components. (a) 10-40% by weight of one or more anionic surfactants selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfates, alkylbenzene sulfonates, α-olefin sulfonates, and alkanesulfonates; % (b) 0.1 to 5% by weight of tertiary amine oxide represented by the following general formula () (In the formula, R 1 represents an alkyl or alkenyl group having 10 to 18 carbon atoms, and R 2 and R 3 represent an alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms.) (c) Higher fatty acid alkanolamide 1 to 8% by weight (d) 0.2 to 5% by weight of a succinic acid derivative represented by the following general formula () (In the formula, R 4 represents an alkyl group or alkenyl group having 4 to 18 carbon atoms, and X and Y are each a hydrogen atom,
alkali metals, ammonium or alkanolamines). (e) 1 to 25% by weight of abrasive (f) 0.2 to 15% by weight of inorganic thickener As mentioned above, systems containing thickeners have various stability problems. However, according to the composition system of the present invention, which is made of a combination of the above-mentioned specific activators, etc., it is possible to obtain a system that has appropriate structural viscosity and has sufficient stability over time and stability under vibration. was discovered. In addition, the composition system of the present invention has sufficient cleaning performance as a kitchen cleaner, and is excellent in that it has all the desirable properties as an abrasive-containing liquid cleaner. The anionic surfactant which is the component (a) of the composition of the present invention is a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate represented by the following general formula () R 5 -O-(CH 2 CH 2 O) o SO 3 M () (wherein R 5 represents an alkyl group or alkenyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, M represents an alkali metal, ammonium or alkanolamine, and n is 1 to 5 on average), and the following general Alkylbenzene sulfonate represented by formula () (In the formula, R 6 represents an alkyl group having 10 to 16 carbon atoms,
M represents an alkali metal, ammonium or alkanolamine) is preferred. The inorganic thickener which is the component (f) of the composition of the present invention is one or more selected from the group consisting of montmorillonite, hectorite, sabonite, vermiculite, nontronite, sauconite, and laponite. Inorganic thickeners are preferred. The amount of the anionic active agent (a) used in the present invention is preferably 10 to 40% by weight. If it is less than 10% by weight, performance such as cleaning power will be insufficient;
If it exceeds 40% by weight, the viscosity will increase rapidly and the high temperature stability will decrease. Component (b), a tertiary amine oxide represented by the formula (), is blended in an amount of 0.1 to 5% by weight. Outside this range, stability is decreased and viscosity increases rapidly, which is not preferable. The succinic acid derivative of component (d) has, for example, 4 to 18 carbon atoms.
It can be obtained by converting an alkyl- or alkenyl-substituted succinic anhydride into a water-soluble salt by reacting the olefin with maleic anhydride or by further hydrogenating the same after the reaction. Such succinic acid derivatives are blended in an amount of 0.2 to 5% by weight. If the blending amount is too small, stability (especially stability over time and stability under vibration) will decrease;
Even if the amount is greater than % by weight, no further improvement in effect can be expected. Although the stabilizing effect of component (d) is truly specific, the mechanism of stabilization is unknown. The higher fatty acid alkanolamide of component (c) is obtained from one or a mixture of two or more saturated or unsaturated fatty acids having 10 to 18 carbon atoms and monoethanolamine or diethanolamine, such as coconut fatty acid diethanolamide, laurin acid monoethanolamide, etc. (c) Ingredients are 1~
Contains 8% by weight. If the amount is less than this range, the stabilizing effect will be small, and if it is too much, the viscosity will increase and the stability will deteriorate, which is not preferable. The abrasives of component (e) include silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide, titanium oxide, aluminosilicate, silicon carbide, calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, chromium oxide, emery, which are commonly used as water-insoluble abrasives, Natural crushed materials such as silica, quartz sand, dolomite, sand, and shells,
Mica powder, powder of plastics such as polystyrene, polyacrylate, etc. can be used. The blending amount is 1 to 25 parts by weight, preferably 5 to 20 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of the composition. The characteristics of the cleaning agent according to the present invention, namely, that it has cleaning power, foaming power, special cleaning effect (particularly the effect of significantly improving the finish of tableware, etc.), and has good storage stability are all mentioned above. It can only be obtained by combining the ingredients in the above ratio,
Even if any one component is missing, or if the ratio of those components deviates from the ratio specified in the present invention, the above characteristics will be lost. The stain to which the abrasive-containing liquid detergent of the present invention is applied is easy to remove as a cleanser, but difficult to remove as a kitchen detergent, so a blending amount is selected that can impart appropriate abrasiveness. If the blending amount is too low, the positive effect of the abrasive will not be obtained,
On the other hand, if there is too much, there is a concern that it may have an effect on the object (damage, etc.). The particle size of the abrasive may be coarse, but it is preferably 1 to 150 microns in consideration of damage to the object. In carrying out the present invention, anionic surfactants other than those specified in the present invention, nonionic surfactants,
Cationic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, fragrances,
Dyes, antibacterial agents, solubilizers, etc. can be added to the composition. As described above, the abrasive-containing liquid cleaning composition of the present invention does not separate even after long-term storage, does not change in viscosity, is stable against vibrations, is not affected by external temperature changes, and has excellent properties. It has cleaning power, foaming power, and moderate abrasive power. EXAMPLES The present invention will be specifically explained below with reference to Examples, but the present invention is not limited to these Examples. Example 1 Compositions shown in Table 1 were prepared, and the cleaning power, foaming power, viscosity, and storage stability of each composition were examined. The results are shown in Table-1. Note that the numbers for the blended components indicate parts by weight, and the test data is based on the following test method. <Test method> (Cleaning power) Sudan (red pigment) is added to beef tallow as an indicator.
0.1% was added, and 5g of this was applied to a porcelain plate (diameter 25cm), which was then scrubbed with a sponge soaked in 10g of detergent and 20g of water, until the tallow could no longer be removed cleanly from the plate. Indicates the number of plates. (Foaming power) Commercially available butter is used as a staining ingredient at a detergent concentration of 0.5%.
Measure the foaming power when 0.1% is added to a detergent solution. The measurement method is to place 40 cc of the above detergent solution to which butter has been added into a glass cylinder with a diameter of 5 cm, rotate and stir for 10 minutes, and measure the foam height immediately after stopping. (Viscosity) Put each composition into a viscosity beaker kept at a predetermined temperature and use a B-type viscometer (rotor No. 4, rotation speed 60 rpm).
Measure using. (Storage stability) Sample: Place each composition in a 200cc plastic bottle. 1. Temperature stability Store at various temperatures for one month and observe the appearance with the naked eye. 2 Vibration stability A truck transportation test (two round trips between Tokyo and Osaka) was conducted, and the appearance was visually observed. The criteria for 1 and 2 are as follows. ○...No separation (stable) △...Slight separation ×...Complete separation 3 Viscosity stability The viscosity of the product stored at room temperature for 6 months is measured and compared with that of the product immediately after blending. ○…no change △…slightly changed ×…significantly changed
