The present invention relates to abrasive-containing liquid cleaning compositions useful for cleaning tableware, kitchen utensils, and other hard surfaces. The use of liquid detergents as detergents for dishes, etc. is of course well known, but recently liquid compositions containing abrasives have been proposed.
It is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 51-50909. However, these products place emphasis on performance as a cleanser, and have the disadvantage that when used diluted, the foaming power and cleaning power are significantly lower than that of so-called kitchen liquid detergents. In addition, a liquid cleaning composition containing an abrasive has been proposed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 56-38397, but the composition shown in the examples has insufficient performance as a cleaning agent and is difficult to disperse the abrasive. Thickeners have been used in the past, but the stability of the compositions is not always satisfactory. The present inventors have developed a product that has sufficient cleaning performance as a kitchen cleaning agent, and has a special cleaning effect (particularly a significant improvement in the finish of tableware, etc.) due to the abrasive agent.
Furthermore, as a result of intensive research to provide an abrasive-containing liquid cleaning composition with excellent storage stability, we have found that by containing the following five specific components as essential components in specific amounts, we have created a storage-stable composition that can achieve these objectives. We have discovered a liquid cleaning composition containing an abrasive with excellent properties and completed the present invention. That is, the present invention provides an abrasive-containing liquid cleaning composition characterized by containing the following five components (a) to (e) as essential components. (a) 10-40% by weight of one or more anionic surfactants selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfates, alkylbenzene sulfonates, α-olefin sulfonates, and alkanesulfonates; % (b) 0.5 to 10% by weight of secondary alcohol ethoxylate represented by the following general formula () (In the formula, m=1-14, =1-14, m+=
8-15, p is 2-10 on average) (c) 0.1-5% by weight of tertiary amine oxide represented by the following general formula () (In the formula, R 1 represents an alkyl or alkenyl group having 10 to 18 carbon atoms, and R 2 and R 3 represent 1 to 2 carbon atoms.
represents an alkyl group. ) (d) 0.1 to 5% by weight of water-soluble inorganic magnesium salt (e) 1 to 20% by weight of water-insoluble abrasive A method of imparting structural viscosity using an active agent as a main component is known. These systems containing medium thickeners tend to lose their structural viscosity when the active agent concentration increases, and when the amount of thickener added increases, undesirable viscosity behavior such as stringiness or gel-like behavior appears. There is also the problem of deterioration over time. On the other hand, activator thickening systems are relatively susceptible to temperature changes and have problems with stability, particularly at high temperatures. However, according to the composition system of the present invention, which is made of a combination of the above-mentioned specific activators, etc., a system can be obtained that has appropriate structural viscosity, has sufficient stability at high temperatures, and is not affected by temperature changes. It was discovered that Thus, the composition system of the present invention has sufficient cleaning performance as a kitchen cleaner. The anionic surfactant which is the component (a) of the composition of the present invention is a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate represented by the following general formula () R 4 -O-(CH 2 CH 2 O) o SO 3 M () (wherein R 4 represents an alkyl group or alkenyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, M represents an alkali metal, ammonium or alkanolamine, and n is 1 to 5 on average), and the following general Alkylbenzene sulfonate represented by formula () (In the formula, R 5 represents an alkyl group having 10 to 16 carbon atoms, and M represents an alkali metal, ammonium, or alkanolamine) is preferable. In addition, water-soluble inorganic magnesium salts as component (d) of the composition of the present invention include magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride, magnesium nitrate, potassium magnesium chloride sulfate, magnesium bromide, magnesium iodide, ammonium magnesium sulfate, and potassium magnesium sulfate. and one or more magnesium salts selected from the group consisting of sodium magnesium sulfate. The amount of the anionic active agent (a) used in the present invention is preferably 10 to 40% by weight. If it is less than 10% by weight, performance such as cleaning power will be insufficient;
This causes a rapid increase in viscosity exceeding 40% by weight and a decrease in high temperature stability. (b) The secondary alcohol ethoxylate represented by the formula () is 0.5 to 10
It is blended in an amount of 1 to 5% by weight, preferably 1 to 5% by weight. If the amount added is outside this range, stability and performance will be insufficient. Component (c), a tertiary amine oxide represented by formula (), is blended in an amount of 0.1 to 5% by weight. Outside this range, stability is decreased and viscosity increases rapidly, which is not preferable. Component (d), a water-soluble inorganic magnesium salt, is blended in an amount of 0.1 to 5% by weight.
If the amount is too small, stability will decrease, while if it is too large, performance will decrease. Component (e), the water-insoluble abrasive, includes silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide, titanium oxide, aluminosilicate,
Crushed natural products such as silicon carbide, calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, chromium oxide, emery, silica, quartz sand, dolomite, sand, and shells, mica powder, and plastic powders such as polystyrene and polyacrylate can be used. The amount of compounding depends on the composition
The amount is 1 to 25 parts by weight, preferably 5 to 20 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight. The stain to which the abrasive-containing liquid detergent of the present invention is applied is easy to remove as a cleanser, but difficult to remove as a kitchen detergent, so a blending amount is selected that can impart appropriate abrasiveness. If the blending amount is too low, the positive effect of the abrasive will not be obtained,
On the other hand, if there is too much, there is a concern that it may have an effect on the object (damage, etc.). The particle size of the abrasive may be coarse, but it is preferably 1 to 150 microns in consideration of damage to the object. In carrying out the present invention, anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, Amphoteric surfactants, fragrances, dyes, antibacterial agents, solubilizers, etc. can be added to the composition. In addition, organic and inorganic thickeners such as hydroxyethyl cellulose, bentonite, and xanthan gum can be blended to reinforce the structural viscosity or as a viscosity modifier, within a range that does not impair the effects of the present invention. The abrasive-containing liquid cleaning composition of the present invention does not separate even when stored for a long period of time, is stable, is not affected by external temperature changes, and has excellent cleaning power, foaming power, and appropriate polishing power. have. EXAMPLES The present invention will be specifically explained below with reference to Examples, but the present invention is not limited to these Examples. Example 1 Compositions shown in Table 1 were prepared, and the cleaning power, foaming power, viscosity, and storage stability of each composition were examined. The results are shown in Table-1. Note that the numbers for the blended components indicate parts by weight, and the test data is based on the following test method. <Test method> (Cleaning power) Sudan (red pigment) is added to beef tallow as an indicator.
Add 0.1% and place 5g of this in a porcelain dish (25cm in diameter).
The number of dishes that have been cleaned is shown as the number of dishes that have been cleaned until the tallow can no longer be removed by scrubbing them with a sponge soaked in 10g of detergent and 20g of water. (Foaming power) Commercially available butter is used as a staining ingredient at a detergent concentration of 0.5%.
Measure the foaming power when 0.1% is added to a detergent solution. The measurement method is to place 40 cc of the above detergent solution to which butter has been added into a glass cylinder with a diameter of 5 cm, rotate and stir for 10 minutes, and measure the foam height immediately after stopping. (Viscosity) Put each composition into a viscosity beaker kept at a predetermined temperature, and use a B-type viscometer (rotor No. 3, rotation speed 30 rpm).
Measure using. (Storage Stability) Each composition is placed in a 200 c.c. polyethylene bottle, sealed and stored at various temperatures, and the stability is observed after one month. ○…No separation (stable) △…Slight separation ×…Complete separation
