置と前記出入口を閉とする閉位置との間を回動可
能にカバー板を設け、前記ピンチローラと前記カ
バー板の回動軸との間にはローラを介在させるこ
とで該ローラとの間の摩擦力で前記カバー板の開
あるいは閉状態が保持されるようにすると共に、
前記ピンチローラの回転力が前記カバー板の回動
軸に伝達されるようにし、しかも前記摩擦力は前
記カバー板を手動によつて開閉することができる
程度にされており、前記制御装置は前記検知器か
ら前記検知信号を受けた時には前記駆動ローラを
正転させることで前記ピンチローラ及び前記ロー

にされており、前記制御装置は前記検知器から前
記検知信号を受けた時には前記駆動ローラを正転
させることで前記ピンチローラ及び前記ローラを
介して前記カバー板を閉方向に駆動し、一方、前
記識別機から前記紙葉類の偽を示す識別信号を受
けた時には前記駆動ローラを逆転させることで前
記ピンチローラ及び前記ローラを介して前記カバ
ー板を開方向に駆動し、かつ所定時間後に前記駆
動ローラを正転させることで前記カバー板を閉方
向に駆動するようにしたことを特徴とする紙葉類
