Among these extruded shapes used, a method of creating a continuous pattern of unevenness on the surface of the extruded hollow shape using a stamping roll is as follows.
There is a Special Publication No. 55-40337. This method uses an integral core bar that is inscribed in the hollow portion of the extruded hollow section over its entire length in order to prevent cross-sectional deformation of the extruded hollow section. In such a method, the core bar (referred to as a core bar in the present invention) extends over its entire length, resulting in a large and heavy object. As a result, there were problems such as high costs, poor work efficiency, and danger.

Either the extruded hollow sections are simply fitted horizontally and then pulled horizontally out of the mandrel for patterning.
Or, either by inserting the pattern into the metal core horizontally and then pulling it out.
(2) The mandrel, which is held horizontally by a fixed support, can be separated into a mandrel head and a mandrel handle, making it suitable for the hollow shape of extruded hollow shapes. The mandrel head of the base body or the rotary body capable of forward and reverse circular motion is fixed to the mandrel handle, and the mandrel head is in contact with the inner surface of the extruded hollow member, and the marking roll and the mandrel head are fixed to the mandrel handle. This is a method for forming an uneven pattern on the surface of an extruded aluminum or aluminum alloy hollow profile, in which the metal heads are located at positions opposite to the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis.

Figure 2 A, B, and C show the cross-sectional shape of an extruded hollow profile 5 (hereinafter simply referred to as the profile) used as a building material (the vertical cross-sectional shape at any position along the entire length is the shape that appears at the end 5b of the profile). This is an example of a decorative exterior surface (which is the same as the exterior surface), and in general, patterns are often required to be patterned along the entire length of both sides, which correspond to indoor and outdoor areas, rather than one side. FIG. 1A is an explanatory diagram of an embodiment in which patterns are simultaneously applied to both sides of a profile (FIG. 2A) according to the method of the present invention. Note that the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis indicating the positional relationship between the patterned surface 5a of the profile 5, the stamping roll 2, the mandrel 1, etc. are clearly shown in Fig. 2 A, B, C and Fig. 8. .

The stamping roll 2 has a cylindrical roll having a concavo-convex pattern engraved on the circumferential surface thereof with a geometric pattern or the like having an appropriately continuous ratio. The stamping roll 2 is equipped with a replaceable stamping roll 2 at the tip of the base body, which has the functions of raising and lowering using hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, etc., positioning, and adjusting the pressure on the shaped material. Engraving roll 2 serves as a withdrawal mechanism and is also used for compacting the uneven pattern.
Performs pressure adjustment. By connecting the stamping roll 2 to a drive source, it is possible to prevent dry slippage and to make a clear uneven pattern. Since it is desired that the drive source 8 has a simple mechanism,
A single mechanism is sufficient.

い。(2) The mandrel 1 is attached to the mandrel head 1 on the left side of the illustration.
A mandrel head 1b of a fixed body that can be separated from the mandrel handle part 1a and is suitable for the hollow shape of the end of the shape, or a rotating body that can move in forward and reverse circular motions is fixed to the mandrel handle part 1a. The mandrel 1 is held horizontally by the fixed support 4, the mandrel head 1b is in contact with the inner surface of the profile 5, and the stamping roll 2 and the mandrel head 1b are opposed to each other along the X, Y, and Z axes. is in a position to do so. (Explained as FIG. 8) If the positions do not match with each other, the shapes may be deformed due to misalignment, and as a result, a beautiful pattern cannot be created. In positioning when the mandrel 1 is removably attached to the mandrel head 1b and the mandrel handle 1a, first, the mandrel handle 1a, which is compatible with the other mandrel head 1b and detachable, is positioned. It is fixed horizontally with the fixing column 4, and then a predetermined mandrel head 1b is attached to the tip by screwing, fitting, or fastening, or conversely, it is made into an integrated mandrel 1 and then fixed. This may be done when fixing with the support 4.

は、図示のとおりである。 Next, as for the rotary body type, the one-sided patterned core head is shown in Figure 3 A and B.
It is illustrated in FIG. 4 as a double-sided patterned guard head. It is also possible to use the structure shown in FIG. 3B as a double-sided patterned core head according to FIG. 4. The structure of the mandrel head 1b, which can accommodate the width of the hollow part of the profile (dimension W in Fig. 2), is to hold the roll 1c with shaft supports 1d at both ends, or to hold the roll 1c with a shaft support 1d at both ends, or with a central shaft support common between the two rolls. 1e, or the attachment and detachment of the outer wall part 1f, which can accommodate the height of the hollow part of the shape (H dimension in Figure 2), has been devised, and the structure of the mandrel head is particularly suitable for double-sided patterning. By installing two rolls 1c side by side, it is possible to rotate in accordance with the rotation direction of the marking roll. For these rolls 1c, commercially available rolling bearings (for example, radial ball bearings, single-row deep groove bearings, etc.) may be used. Note that the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis indicating the positional relationship between the patterned surface 5a of the profile 5, the stamping roll 2, the mandrel 1, etc. are as shown in the figure.

The outer upper surface and outer lower surface of 5 are vertically pressed against each other. The conveyance roll 3 and the core metal 1 are
Located opposite to the axis. If the positions do not match with each other, the profile 5 cannot be smoothly fitted into the mandrel 1 or pulled out from the mandrel 1. A roll provided with a shape straightening section 3c that enables straightening is pivotally supported on the conveying roll 3. The material of the roll may be selected from soft or hard synthetic resin. Note that the conveyance roll 3 is preferably connected to the same drive source 8 by a belt 8a or the like so that the conveyance roll 3 and the marking roll 2 rotate in the same direction. The other transport rolls 3a and 3b are treated separately.

As an example of the mechanism, by turning the handle Y, four feed screws 10a (both normal and reverse threaded) which also serve as guide rods are interlocked by a gear 10c of a connecting shaft 10b and a belt 10d. The two slide bodies 10 which are rotated and have built-in nuts move in a straight line. The position adjusted to the best condition for patterning is used as a fixed reference, and from then on, each time the profile 5 is patterned, a certain distance is set as this fixed reference (a gap to avoid obstacles when inserting or extracting the profile). Then, the Y-axis adjusting slide body 10, the marking roll 2, and the conveying roll 3 are manually raised or lowered by one stroke by the iterative adjustment part 7c, according to the process shown in FIG. 6 or 7. This is made possible by automatically switching the automatic switching section 7a. For adjustment, in particular, the drive source 7 for Y-axis adjustment includes a deceleration adjustment section 7b for adjusting the appropriate rotational speed and a repetition adjustment section 7c for ascending and descending strokes for approaching and leaving the section 5. (cams, limit switches, etc.) are attached, and each requires maintenance, so it is necessary to switch between manual and automatic switching section 7a.
