A hard plate-like felt is made by impregnating and hardening a synthetic polymer material such as rubber or resin, and then punching out disks from this, fitting the required number of disks into an iron core, compressing them in the direction of the iron core and tightening them into one piece, and then forming the outer peripheral surface of the felt. The method used was to finish by grinding and polishing.

The thickness of the roll cannot be made very thick, so when forming a roll, a large number of disks are required, which requires labor, and the product tends to become lumpy, and a punching machine is required. There was a problem. An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and provide a method for manufacturing felt rolls that has good yield, workability, and excellent quality.

図面に基き詳述する。"Means for Solving the Problems" The method for manufacturing the felt roll 1 of the present invention involves feeding the fiber batt 3 alone or overlapping the fiber batt 3 with the yarn 4 or the cloth 5 to form the cylindrical bed 6. Needle it while making a ring around it, pull it out to the side to create the tubular felt 7,
This is sliced into a large number of donut-shaped elements 8, treated with resin or rubber, and the required number of donut-shaped elements are fitted into the iron core 9 and compressed in the direction of the iron core to form the donut-shaped elements, the iron core, and the donut. The shaped elements are combined and integrated,
This is a method of finishing the outer peripheral surface by polishing it, and will be explained in detail below based on the drawings.

トロール1を製造する。 The fiber vat 3 continuously supplied from the previous process is guided into the tubular needle machine 2 either alone or with thread 4 or cloth 5 overlaid thereon, and is then fed into the tubular needle machine 2 with a stripper 10 having a large number of holes and a cylindrical shape. Needle board 11 moves up and down while passing between beds 6
Needle the fibers and yarn or cloth of the butt with the needle 12 attached to the needle board 11 and guide them with the feed roll 13 to form a ring around the cylindrical bed 3. This operation is repeated as many times as necessary, and if necessary, after cutting off the supply of the batt, yarn and cloth, needling is continued to firmly bind the batt fibers to each other and the batt fibers to the yarn or cloth. It is formed into a tubular shape and pulled out laterally using a handle 14 or the like to create a tubular felt 7. The fibers of the butt of the tubular felt are mostly oriented radially from the center due to needling. The inner diameter is made to be almost the same as the outer diameter of the cylindrical bed, but when making one with a larger inner diameter, the first circumference is formed to have the desired inner diameter, and the rest is rubbed in the same way as above. Bye. Further, the yarn and cloth may be fed in fewer turns than the butt. Synthetic fibers are mainly used as the butt fibers, but natural fibers can also be used. Synthetic fibers include polyamide fiber, polyester fiber, polyacrylonitrile fiber, polypropylene fiber, etc. Natural fibers include wool,
Cotton, linen, etc. Next, the tubular felt 7 is cut into rounds of appropriate width to create donut-shaped elements 8, which are dipped in a resin or rubber solution to impregnate the resin or rubber, and gradually dried at a temperature of 80 to 100°C. After that, it is cured by curing at 130 to 200°C. The resin used is polyurethane resin, polyester resin, epoxy resin, acrylic resin, etc., and the rubber used is styrene-butadiene rubber, acrylonitrile rubber, etc., and the solid content of these is 10 to 50% of the weight of the material to be treated. Preferably, the amount is 15 to 25%. A large number of these donut-shaped elements 8 are fitted into the iron core 9 of the roll, flanges 15 are applied to both ends, and strong pressure is applied in the direction of the iron core to firmly connect the donut-shaped elements, the iron core, and the donut-shaped elements to one another. This operation is repeated until the desired width is achieved. Finally, the flange is fixed with bolts, etc. to form a roll, and the outer circumferential surface of the donut-shaped element is polished to the desired dimensions and smoothness. Then, the desired felt roll 1 is manufactured.

ルが得られるなど多くの長所がある。"Effects of the Invention" The method for producing felt rolls of the present invention takes the above-mentioned steps, and first creates tubular felt, which is then sliced into donut-shaped elements, so there is almost no loss and the yield is extremely high. Since the width of the element can be made to an appropriate size, it is possible to fit it into the iron core with a fairly large width, and since the number of elements is relatively small, the labor required is less, and the fibers of the butt are Since the roll is oriented radially from the center by needling, there is little slippage on the roll surface, and therefore it has many advantages, such as being able to obtain rolls of excellent quality with no unevenness.
