In recent years, a waterproofing construction method in which metal waterproof surface materials such as stainless steel are seam welded together and covered and laid on the roofs of structures has come to be widely adopted. However, in this type of waterproof construction, if the metal waterproof surface material is damaged due to an accident or other cause during or after construction, it will be repaired, but in that case, It is easy to repair damaged parts with solder or caulking, but it is difficult to maintain watertightness over a long period of time, and it is also possible to apply a metal waterproof plate to the damaged part and seam weld it. Technically and operationally it is extremely difficult. Therefore, a repair method was proposed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 61-424, in which a metal plate similar to that of the damaged face material was used and seam welded. This idea is
Cut out the area around the damaged part of the metal surface material in a roughly circular shape, form a rising part on the periphery, and insert a repair plate with a rising part on the periphery of the circular bottom into the circular cut out part. They are fitted together and their rising parts are seam-welded to each other.

However, in this repair method, it is extremely difficult and requires a high degree of skill to form a rising part on the cut out circular periphery of the installed metal surface material by hand.
Not only is the efficiency poor, but there are also drawbacks such as processing wrinkles occurring at the rising edge, resulting in incomplete seam welding, and rainwater stagnating in the repaired area, or cracks forming, making it impossible to repair.

The present invention improves the drawbacks of conventional repairs as described above, and makes it possible to reliably and easily repair damaged parts of waterproof metal surface materials by seam welding using the same metal plate. The present invention aims to provide a method that can perform repairs with excellent durability.

The structure of the method of the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings showing the embodiments.The present invention provides a metal waterproof surface material 2 formed by seam welding the rising parts 4, 4 on both sides to each other. The required width is cut 7, and the rising portions 4, 4 corresponding to the width are cut 6 from slightly below the seam weld 5 over a portion longer than that width to form a low rising portion 4'. A metal repair product in which the cut edges of the metal waterproof surface material 2 are bent to form standing parts 8, 8, and between the standing parts 8, 8, rising parts 9, 9 are formed on both sides. The plate 10 is inserted and mounted, and the upright parts 8, 8 and rising parts 9, 9 are seam welded 12 to each other and laid down, and both end edges of the repair plate 10 are seamed to the low rising part 4'. It is characterized by welding 13.

Conventionally, in waterproofing construction using metal plates on the roofs of buildings, etc., as shown in FIG. A plurality of metal waterproof facings 2 made of stainless steel or the like are arranged in parallel and the rising portions 4, 4 of the metal waterproof facings 2, 2 are seam welded 5, 5. The present invention is directed to this laid metal waterproof surface material 2.
In addition, if damage such as holes or cracks occurs during or after construction, the damaged area will be repaired.

As shown in FIG. 2, the seam welded rising portions 4,
4 is cut 6, 6 from a position slightly below the seam weld 5 over a distance 1, 1 that is longer than the distance between the opposing fold lines b and b, leaving low rising parts 4', 4'. At the same time, the face material 2 is cut along cutting lines a and a. Thereby, the part of the face material 2' between the cutting lines a and a is separated from the other parts of the face material 2 and the rising parts 4, 4 of the other joined face material,
This means that 7 resections can be performed.

As explained above, the method of the present invention allows a metal waterproof surface material formed by seam welding the raised parts on both sides to each other to
The damaged part is pinched and cut out over the required width, and the rising part corresponding to that width is cut out from a place slightly below the seam weld to a part longer than that width to form a low rising part. bending both cut edges of the waterproof surface material to form a raised part, inserting and mounting a metal repair plate with raised parts on both sides between the raised parts;
These raised parts are seam-welded to each other and laid down, and both end edges of the repair plate are seam-welded to the low raised parts.
The damaged metal waterproof cladding is removed by cutting straight lines in the width and length directions of the cladding near the damaged area, and the repair plate attached to the removed area is simply cut into a rectangular shape. It is sufficient to simply form rising parts on both sides of the metal plate, which makes it extremely easy to remove the damaged part and form the repair plate. The later cut edges are made to stand up in a straight line and seam welded in a straight line using the rising parts and the rising parts,
All bending and seam welding can be done in a straight line by seam welding both ends of the repair plate to the rising part of the other face plate, so each of these operations is easy and requires no skill. It can be carried out reliably and efficiently without the need for repairs, and the repair plate is joined to the raised part of the metal face plate and the raised part of other face plates by seam welding, and the seam weld is already seam welded. It is connected to the welded parts of the rising parts of the face plates, which ensure watertightness, excellent durability, and allows for repairs with good water flow.
