いる。2は加工槽1の壁面に設けられた長円形の開口
部。3は枠状の案内金具で、開口部2の外周に配置さ
れ、図示しないボルトにより加工槽1の壁面に固定され
ている。4はシ−ルで、開口部2の全周に配置されてい
る。5は堰板で、案内金具3上を移動可能である。6は
堰板5の略中央部に設けられた堰で、下部ア−ム7の断
面と相似形に形成され、加工槽1の内部から流出する加
工液8の量を制限する。ところで、加工に伴って発生す
るスラッジの大きさは通常数μないし数十μの大きさで
あり、加工終了時に加工液8と共に加工槽1から排出さ
れる。しかし、種々の加工実験結果により、発生したス
ラッジの一部は加工槽1の内部に残り、加工槽1の内部
に残ったスラッジ同志が結合すると、200μ程度の塊
になるものがあることが判った。そこで、本実施例で
は、堰6と下部ア−ム7との距離Gの寸法を0.3mm
にしてある。以上の構成であるから、加工により発生し
たスラッジはもちろん、スラッジ同志が結合し大きく成
長したものも、加工液8と共に堰6を通過して加工槽1
の外部に排出される。したがって、堰6すなわち堰板5
と下部ア−ム7との間にスラッジが留まることはない。
なお、堰6を通過して加工槽1の外部に排出された加工
液8は図示しない回収路を通り図示しない加工液タンク
