RRIM is a molded product in which two or more reactive liquid raw materials are injected into a specified mold and reacted and solidified in the mold, such as a polyurea molded product that utilizes the reaction between polyether amine and diisocyanate. The molded product refers to a molded product containing a reinforcing material that is formed by mixing a reinforcing material such as glass fiber with the above-mentioned liquid raw material. Here, both are referred to as RIM molded products.

These are relatively thin plate-shaped bodies that are being used in matsudo guards, etc., and reinforcing materials such as metal plates (usually called inserts) are placed above the assembly area with other parts or inside the molded product for structural reasons. (hereinafter referred to as inserts) are integrally embedded (insert molding).
It is often done.

Therefore, when the molded product is further coated and baked, the molded product, which is a resin part, contracts due to the release of molding distortion and often causes separation from the internal metal insert.

However, in the case of the former, if there are mounting bolts etc. on the surface of the metal insert, the mounting bolts etc. must be treated so as not to be damaged, and if the metal insert has a complex three-dimensional shape, the It has the disadvantage that it is difficult to treat the surface uniformly. On the other hand, the latter has the disadvantage that the primer etc. have a pot life and that foreign matter etc. tend to adhere to the coated surface, resulting in poor workability.

I can do it. On the other hand, although the paper, cloth, etc. are in the form of thin sheets, they have minute irregularities or voids on the surface, so the metal insert body to which they are fixed has irregularities and voids on the surface, and this insert The molded product, which is placed in a mold and injected with the reactive liquid raw material, is made of paper or cloth, or in other words, a metal product to which the raw material is fixed. This results in a tight bond with the insert body. Furthermore, since this paper, cloth, etc. is a thin sheet-like material, even if the intended molded product is a plate-like object as mentioned above, the thickness of the insert will only increase slightly, and the material will not be thickened during injection injection. It also has the effect that molding can be performed in the conventional manner without inhibiting the flow within the mold.

and a sheet-like material 12 fixed to its surface. The metal insert main body 11 is usually made of a metal such as an iron plate shaped into a predetermined shape, and mounting means such as bolts 13 are provided upright as necessary. The sheet-like material 12 has minute irregularities or voids on its surface. Typical examples thereof are paper, cloth, or laminates thereof. In addition, sheet-like material 1
The material 2 is not limited to these, but may be any material having minute irregularities or voids on the surface.
This sheet-like material 12 is fixed in a predetermined position to the metal insert main body 12 with an adhesive, preferably a curable adhesive such as an acrylic adhesive.
Note that the sheet-like material 12 may be fixed to the entire surface of the metal insert main body 11, or may be partially fixed to a portion of the molded product that is susceptible to thermal history or the like.

Note that the RIM molded product 30 of the present invention is molded by the same injection molding method as the conventional method. That is, as shown in FIG. 3, the insert 10 is held in the mold 20 and the gate 21 is
The RIM molded product 30 of the present invention is obtained by injecting and injecting a reactive liquid raw material to coat or encapsulate the insert 10 with the raw material. At this time, since the insert 10 has a sheet material 12 such as paper or cloth that has minute irregularities or voids on its surface, the injected liquid raw material permeates or permeates into the irregularities, voids, etc. and solidifies. At the boundary between the molded RIM molded product and the insert surface, they are integrally engaged with each other so as to bite into the opposing object. That is, the injected liquid raw material is integrally combined with the insert 10. Here, the reactive liquid raw material used is the reactive raw material such as polyurethane or polyurea described at the beginning, or a mixture thereof mixed with a reinforcing material such as glass fiber.

This allows the insert to have its original reinforcing effect, and it also makes it possible to perform post-processing such as painting and baking the RIM molded product of the present invention, thereby improving the product value. This has the advantage that it can be used for various purposes. In addition, in order to obtain the RIM molded product of the present invention, it is sufficient to fix paper, cloth, etc. to the metal insert body with an adhesive and use it for molding, and the preparation work etc. is also an extremely simple process. In addition, the RIM molded product of the present invention can be obtained without any change in moldability, such as using the same steps and molds as conventional ones.
