Description

【発明の詳細な説明】[Detailed description of the invention]

〔技術分野〕 本発明は食器、廚房器具部品、家庭用品、建築
資材、雑貨用品等に用いられる天然木類似の樹脂
成形品に関するものである。 〔背景技術〕 従来、食器、廚房器具部品、家庭用品、建築資
材、雑貨用品等に用いられる天然木類似の樹脂成
形品については木材と同様の道具、工具を用いて
切削加工、釘打ち、ネジ止めできることが要望さ
れているが従来のフエノール樹脂成形品では切削
加工は不可能で加えて釘打ち、ネジ止めできない
という欠点があり、又熱可塑性樹脂成形品では耐
熱性が低いため用途が限定されるという問題があ
つた。 〔発明の目的〕 本発明の目的は切削加工、釘打ち、ネジ止め可
能の天然木類似樹脂成形品を提供することにあ
る。 〔発明の開示〕 本発明は20〜150メツシユのコルク樫木粉を全
量の15〜75重量%(以下単に%と記す)含有する
フエノール樹脂成形材料を加熱加圧成形してなる
ことを特徴とする天然木類似樹脂成形品のため切
削加工、釘打ち、ネジ止めが可能になつたもので
以下本発明を詳細に説明する。 本発明に用いるコルク樫木粉はテイラー篩を用
いて20〜150メツシユのものであることが必要で
ある。即ち20メツシユより粗くなると成形品外観
に肌荒れを発生し、150メツシユより細かくなる
と切削加工、釘打ち、ネジ止めが出来なくなるた
めである。又、コルク樫木粉の量は成形材料全量
の15〜75%であることが必要である。即ち15%未
満では切削加工、釘打ち、ネジ止めができなくな
り、75%をこえると成形品外観に肌荒れを発生し
且つ機械的強度が大巾に低下するためである。フ
エノール樹脂については、フエノール、クレゾー
ル、キシレノール等のフエノール類の単独又は混
合物とホルマリン、パラホルムアルデヒド等のホ
ルムアルデヒド類とを所定のモル比に配合し、酸
性蝕媒下で反応させて得られるノボラツク型フエ
ノール樹脂やレゾール型フエノール樹脂或はこれ
らの糖密、リグニン、ナフタリン、キシレン、石
油系芳香族炭化水素による変性フエノール樹脂を
用いる際には硬化剤として樹脂100重量部につき
5〜15重量部のヘキサミンを用いるものである。
コルク樫木粉、フエノール樹脂、硬化剤以外の配
合としては必要に応じて無機質充填剤、離型剤、
着色剤等を添加し混合、混練、粉砕し更に必要に
応じて造粒しフエノール樹脂成形材料を得、該フ
エノール樹脂成形材料を圧縮成型、トランスフア
成形、射出成形、押出成形等の任意手段が加熱加
圧成形して天然木類似樹脂成形品を得るものであ
る。 以下本発明を実施例にもとずいて説明する。 実施例1乃至4と従来例 フエノール1モルに対しホルムアルデヒド0.86
モルを37%ホルマリンで加えてから塩酸触媒で酸
性下で反応させ、次いで脱水煮詰して融点90℃の
ノボラツク型フエノール樹脂を得、該フエノール
樹脂を用い第1表に従つて混合、混練、粉砕して
フエノール樹脂成形材料を得、該フエノール樹脂
成形材料を成形圧力150Kg/cm2、150℃、3分間圧
縮成形して天然木類似樹脂成形品を得た。
