らにその外周に、現像剤を軸方向に移送する移送
羽根を設けるとともに、移送羽根の移送方向でか
つ放射状の羽根が形成されている回転軸の周上
に、現像剤の流入開口と流出開口を間隔を置いて
設ける一方、回転軸内に移送部材の移送方向と反
対方向に現像剤を移送する回転移送部材を配設す

根6とは反対方向に現像剤を移送する搬送スクリ
ユーで、羽根車1と同方向もしくは逆方向に回転
するその軸8には、螺旋状の羽根9が設けられて
いて、スリーブ軸2の一端に設けた流入口3から
流入した現像剤とここに補給されたトナーとを他
端の流出口4に向けて送り出すように構成されて

流入開口を設けたもののように、流入開口部近傍
に現像剤の溜流を生じさせて回転体の回転を阻害
したり、現像剤を疲労させるといつた不都合を生
じさせることなく、回転体自体によつて現像剤を
軸方向に円滑に循環させ、かつ効率よく撹拌混合
させることができる。さらに特筆すべきは、これ
らの撹拌混合と循環を羽根車のみにより行なわせ
ることができるので、現像装置を大幅に小型化す
