(Prior Art) Thermosetting resin laminates, especially diallyl phthalate resin laminates, are known to have excellent moldability and post-form processability as well as physical and chemical properties. Above all, veneer is popular as a material with a calm texture. However, the diallyl phthalate resin laminated board is inferior to the melamine resin laminated board in terms of hardness and heat resistance such as cigarette resistance, and there is a difficulty in using it particularly for a top board typified by desks, counters and the like.

The diallyl phthalate resin in the present invention refers to a diallyl phthalate prepolymer such as an already known ortho, iso or tere-diallyl phthalate prepolymer alone or a mixture thereof or a modified prepolymer thereof. As the unsaturated polyester resin, a generally known liquid one or solid one at room temperature is used. When the unsaturated polyester resin is used as the mixed resin, at least 20% by weight of the diallyl phthalate resin in the resin is required in order to obtain a laminated board that takes advantage of the characteristics of the diallyl phthalate resin.

The polyacrylate or polymethacrylate of pentaerythritol used in the present invention (hereinafter, both are collectively referred to as poly (meth) acrylate) includes an acryloyl group or a methacryloyl group (hereinafter both are collectively referred to as (meth)). Poly (meth) acrylates having three or more acryloyl groups) are used alone or as a mixture. A poly or mono (meth) acrylate having 2 or less (meth) acryloyl groups has insufficient compatibility with a diallyl phthalate resin or an unsaturated polyester resin, and the desired effect cannot be obtained.

The poly (meth) acrylate used in the present invention is four types of pentaerythritol monohydroxytriacrylate, pentaerythritol tetraacrylate, pentaerythritol monohydroxytrimethacrylate, and pentaerythritol tetramethacrylate, and these may be used alone or in a mixture. Used as. The compounding amount is appropriately in the range of 5 to 70 parts by weight, or 10 to 50 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the mixed resin of diallyl phthalate resin or unsaturated polyester resin and diallyl phthalate resin. If the amount is less than 5 parts by weight, the effect of improving the surface properties, which is the object of the present invention, cannot be sufficiently obtained. If the amount is more than 70 parts by weight, the cured product becomes too hard and becomes brittle, and the resin becomes sticky during processing to improve workability. This will cause problems.

A commonly known curing agent for diallyl phthalate resin or unsaturated polyester resin is added to the composition of the present invention. Further, if necessary, other kinds of reactive monomers and additives usually used in the technical field such as an internal mold release agent, a filler, a flame retardant, a polymerization inhibitor, a pigment and the like can be added.

To produce a laminate using the composition of the present invention, a resin solution is prepared by dissolving the composition in an appropriate solvent, for example, an organic solvent such as acetone, toluene, methyl ethyl ketone, etc. It is achieved by impregnating a suitable amount of the resin and drying it, and then laminating and heat-molding it with plywood, particle board, or ordinary resin-impregnated kraft paper as the core. Further, the base material impregnated with the composition of the present invention may be heat-cured and then laminated on a metal plate such as an aluminum plate using an adhesive.

(Effects of the Invention) A laminated board using the composition containing the poly (meth) acrylate of pentaerythritol of the present invention is a laminated board using a conventional diallyl phthalate resin or unsaturated polyester resin not containing the poly (meth) acrylate. Surface properties such as scratch hardness and cigarette resistance have been dramatically improved compared to the plate, and it has become possible to use it for the top plate which has been difficult to use in the past.
