In the initial stage of this coating method, a simple one was used in which newspaper or hatron paper was rubbed by hand to form wrinkles, which were then rolled into an appropriate shape. After that, various improvements were made, but nowadays, from among the various types of sponges on the market, those with good solvent resistance are selected, and the surface is appropriately cut into irregular irregularities. It is common to absorb the paint with or press it in reverse to apply the combination.

A combination roller in which one end of a large number of elastic sheets each formed in an appropriate shape is attached to the surface of a roller that is rotatably attached, and the tip of the elastic sheet is rotated on the coated surface by a centrifugal force. By doing so, it is intended to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks.

ができる。That is, if the combination roller according to the present invention is coated with a coating material and pressed against the coated surface to rotate the roller,
The elastic sheet is strongly pressed against the coated surface by the roller, or the elastic sheet is hit or bound by the centrifugal force, and the splashes form a natural pattern on the coated surface. The splash or pattern formed by hitting the elastic sheet does not cause the roller to be solidly coated by the gap formed by the thickness of the elastic sheet even when the elastic sheet is pressed against the coating surface by the roller. Therefore, the above-mentioned splashes and patterns remain as a pattern between the elastic sheets, and a pattern that has never existed in the past can appear.

When it is done, it becomes a pattern,
In addition, the splash is expressed as a pattern, which utilizes the principle that a pattern with different paint thickness and line thickness can be applied to the coated surface in a substantially constant repeating unit.

The combination roller 1 includes a shaft 6, a roller body 2 that rotates around the shaft 6, a cardboard 3 attached around the roller body 2, and a surface of the cardboard 3 that are attached from the center of the combination roller 1. It is formed of the worn cloth for sardine cloth 4 and the elastic sheet 5 planted on the surface of the cloth for sardines cloth 4. It should be noted that a micro glass treated cloth may be used in place of the above-mentioned garlic gauze 4.

In order to plant the elastic sheet 5 on the surface of the cheesecloth 4, means such as sewing, hooking, bonding with an adhesive, tying with a tako thread, etc. can be adopted. FIG. 3 shows a case where it is planted with the epoxy adhesive 9, and FIG. 4 shows that the elastic sheet 5 is fixed to the gauze cloth 4 by the hook 11, and the hook 11 is sandwiched with the second gauze cloth 4 ′. An example will be given for the case of holding them in between. FIG. 5 shows a cold cloth 4 having holes 12 for planting so that the hook 11 can be easily attached.

Then, it suffices to rotate the combination roller 1 on the coated surface which has been subjected to the base treatment. At that time, combination roller 1
Requires a child that rotates the coated surface at a speed at which the tip of the elastic sheet 5 is struck by centrifugal force. When a predetermined pattern is formed in a certain rotation direction, the combination roller 1 is rotated in a direction different from the above rotation direction, for example, at a right angle. By doing so, it is possible to obtain a uniform repeating pattern.
