After exposing both ends and adhering the insulating film, the ear part of the conductor tape is cut and removed so as to cover the slit, and the insulating film is cut in the width direction for each slit at the position of the slit. By doing so, the productivity and the uniformity of quality are improved.

In the figure, reference numeral 2 is a conductor tape formed by forming a large number of slits 2a in the width direction at equal intervals on a metal tape such as a copper tape, and 3 and 3 are heat-insulating insulation such as polyester film and polyethylene film. It is a film, and an adhesive is applied to the surface to be adhered to the conductor tape 2 as needed. Reference numeral 4 denotes a laminating roll (heating roll) having a built-in heater, which is arranged opposite to each other as shown in the drawing. 5
Is a selvage cutter disposed near both edges of the conductor tape 2 such that the blade edge thereof is caught in the slit 2a of the conductor tape 2, 6
Is a cutter that cuts the insulating film 3 into a plurality of slits of the conductor tape 2.

Here, the insulating films 3 are fused on both surfaces of the conductor tape 2 so that both ends of the slit are exposed. Next, the conductor tape 2 with the insulating film 3 fused on both sides is cut at the ear 2b at a position where it is applied to the slit 2a by the ear cutter 5, and then the insulating film 3 is cut in the width direction for each arbitrary slit. The card type cable 7 is manufactured by cutting.

As shown in FIG. 4, the card type cable 7 in which both ends of the conductor 7a are displaced, the card type cable 7 in which the conductor 7a at one end is branched and exposed to the other as shown in FIG. Thus, the card type cable 7 in which the conductors 7a at both ends are alternately branched to the other end and exposed can be manufactured by appropriately changing the shape of the slit 2a formed in the conductor tape 2.
