から掻き取るのであるから、坏土を薄板片状にして取り
出すことが可能であり、従来の中空粒子状の坏土と比べ
て圧縮成形時のしまりが大きくなり、タイルを焼成する
際に亀裂が入つたりひずんだりするのが確実に防止され
る。また、スプレードライヤと違つて、坏土中に燃焼ガ
スや炭素等と不純物が混じらないから、高品質のタイル
を製造することができる。さらに、上記のように間接乾
燥であつて低温で乾燥されるから、例えば、素地土に有
機質の結合剤を混ぜた場合に、その結合剤が焼失するの
