Conventionally, a heating device for a moving handrail disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 19321/1984 has been used for repairing the scratch. Generally, in this heating device, a mold which is divided into upper and lower parts with respect to the surface of the decorative rubber having a C-shaped cross section is used, and the mold has a surface in contact with the decorative rubber at both upper and lower parts. It has a mirror finish. In addition, an upper surface electric heater is provided for the upper mold, and a lower surface electric heater is provided for the lower mold. In order to maintain the quality of the surface of the decorative rubber, the upper and lower molds are heated at a uniform temperature as much as possible.

The upper die 12 and the lower die 13 which are divided into upper and lower parts each have a moving handrail holding portion 14 at an opposing portion thereof, and after holding a moving handrail for repair in the holding portion 14, a plurality of bolts are provided. The handrails are tightened by the nuts 15 and 16 and the nuts 17 and 18, and the moving handrail is pressed by this tightening. Both dies 12, 13 are provided with an electric heater 9 for the upper surface and an electric heater 10 for the lower surface, respectively, and the upper and lower temperatures of the respective dies 12, 13 can be adjusted by the detailed temperature control units 3 and 4 omitted. Both electric heaters 9, so as not to exceed
10 is controlled, and is also controlled by a temperature difference control device 19 so that the temperature difference between the molds 12 and 13 is always within a predetermined range. The temperature control units 3 and 4 and the temperature difference control device 19 constitute a heating control device 20, the details of which are shown in FIG.

Both molds 12 and 13 have sensors 1 and 2 for measuring the temperature thereof, respectively, and when the temperature of each mold 12 and 13 reaches the upper limit temperature for restoration determined in consideration of the material of the moving handrail,
The temperature adjusting units 3 and 4 are activated to cut off the command to the relays 5 and 6 to cut off the electric power supply to the electric heaters 9 and 10, and when the temperature becomes lower than the upper limit temperature, the electric heaters 9 and 10 are again passed through the relays 5 and 6.
Control to start energization to. In addition, the temperature control device 19
Consists of a comparator 7, a relay 8 and its contact 8a,
The comparator 7 measures the temperature difference between the molds 12 and 13 by the sensors 1 and 2.
The output is cut off when the difference exceeds a preset value. This degausses the relay 8 and opens its contact 8a. Therefore, the lower surface electric heater 10 is de-energized. In the steady state, the relay 8 is excited,
The contact 8a is also closed and the lower surface electric heater 10 is heating the lower mold 13 while being controlled by the temperature adjusting unit 4.

Next, the operation of the heating control device 20 will be described with reference to the flow chart of FIG. In this embodiment, the capacity of the lower surface electric heater 10 is larger than that of the upper surface electric heater 9, and the upper surface electric heater 9 is used as a reference heater.

First, both electric heaters 9 and 10 are connected to a power source. The upper die 12 rises in temperature as shown by the curve n in FIG. 4 due to the temperature rise characteristic determined by the capacity of the electric heater 9 for the upper surface and the power source, etc., and eventually the upper limit temperature T of FIG. reach u This determination is made by step 30 in FIG. If the temperature adjustment Yunitsuto 3 based on information from the temperature sensor 1 detects that the upper mold 12 has reached the upper limit temperature T u, step
As indicated by 31, the power supply to the upper surface electric heater 9 is cut off via the relay 5. If the work is finished at this point, the heating is stopped by step 32. On the other hand, if the work is still in progress, the process returns to step 30, and when the temperature of the upper die 12 becomes lower than the upper limit temperature T u, the upper surface electric heater 9 is energized again. By repeating this procedure, the upper mold 12 is lower than the upper limit temperature Tu while the work is continued,
And the temperature is kept close to it.

On the other hand, the lower mold 13 has a higher temperature rise rate than the upper mold 12, so if there is no consideration, it reaches the upper limit temperature T u earlier than the upper mold 12 as shown by the dotted line in FIG. At that time, the temperature difference between the two becomes large, and the surface quality is degraded when the moving handrail is repaired. However, the lower surface for electrical heater 10, in the following step the same step 33, 34 and 35 by the flow with a connexion upper limit temperature T u for controlling the upper-surface electric heater 9 as described above, and is controlled to a temperature close to And controlled by steps 36, 37 and 38.
That is, while observing the temperature difference between the upper mold 12 and the lower mold 13 with the comparator 7, it is judged in step 36 whether the difference is within the set range or not, and if the temperature exceeds the set range. Difference d
If so, the process proceeds to step 37, the contact 8a in FIG. 3 opens, and the energization to the lower surface electric heater 10 is cut off. As a result, the heating of the lower mold 13 is stopped as indicated by the curve m shown in FIG. 4, the temperature gradually decreases, and the temperature difference returns to within the predetermined range. It is detected that the temperatures of 12 and 13 have become the same. Then, the energization of the electric heater 10 for the lower surface is started again, and as shown by the curve m in FIG. 4, the electric power is heated to and maintained near the upper limit temperature T u .

In this way, the two dies 12 and 13 can be repaired while being held at substantially the same temperature, that is, in the range of a predetermined temperature difference, so that the surface of the moving handrail can be maintained in high quality.

As described above, the present invention sets one of the upper surface electric heater and the lower surface electric heater having a smaller temperature increase rate to the reference heater, and the larger temperature rising rate to the other electric heater. Since the other electric heater is provided with a temperature difference control device that controls opening / closing of the other electric heater within a preset temperature difference range with respect to the reference heater, the temperature of both molds is always kept at a substantially constant value, and the temperature of the moving handrail is kept constant. The surface can be maintained at high quality, and erroneous operation due to mistaken recognition or the like and gaze work can be eliminated to perform efficient repair work.
