幅で形成しておく。なおシム形成部7はリングコア1と
一体であるので、高透磁率材からなることは勿論であ

成する工程と、前記シム形成部材を折曲し、非磁性材ス
ペーサを介して前記コアの先端部間に挾み込み、固定す
る工程と、研削などにより前記折曲部分を除去し、前記
摺動面を形成する工程を有する構成を採用したので、セ
ンターシムと上記先端部の位置ズレを防ぎ、トラック幅
やトラック位置などの寸法精度が向上し、優れた特性の
磁気ヘッドを製造できるとともに、部品点数を減らして
