方法である。And, as a means for achieving the above object, the present invention is to dispose a start plate at the discharge port of the pouring nozzle and to reduce the pressure inside the pouring nozzle. That is, according to the present invention, two water-cooling drums that are horizontally arranged with a gap corresponding to the thickness of the metal strip to be manufactured and have different rotation directions from each other, and two water-cooling drums that are pressed against the end surface of the water-cooling drum. In a casting start method of continuous casting, in which a molten metal is poured into a space formed by a fixed weir through a pouring nozzle to obtain a desired thin plate, a start plate is arranged at a discharge port of the pouring nozzle, In addition, it is an operating method of continuous casting of thin plates, characterized in that the inside of the pouring nozzle is depressurized.

The start plate is made of a material that melts in about 1 minute when molten metal comes into contact therewith. Is preferred. As this kind of material, ordinary copper, a thin plate having a composition similar to that of molten metal, or in some cases non-ferrous metal is used.

Further, as a means for further enhancing the effect of enabling this uniform pouring, in the present invention, the inside of the pouring nozzle is depressurized, whereby the molten metal falls (pouring) until the molten metal fills the pouring nozzle. It was designed to prevent hot water).

Is poured. The molten metal 4 poured is stored in a fixed amount by the tundish charging stopper 3 and the like in the tundish 1 and then the tundish charging stopper 3 is opened, so that the molten metal 4 is watched in the pouring nozzle 2. A filter 5 is provided at the discharge port of the pouring nozzle 2, and the molten metal 4 is poured onto the surface of the drum 6 via the filter 5.

When the molten metal 4 hits, it melts in about 1 minute. Therefore, the molten metal 4 is filled in the pouring nozzle 2 before the start plate 7 is melted, and the molten metal 4 can be uniformly poured from the filter 5, so that the surface of the drum 6 can be stably poured. Therefore, casting can be started easily.
