The present invention relates to a long-life drive bit having both wear resistance and breakage resistance. [Prior Art] Conventionally, a drive bit has been integrally formed of alloy steel (see
Fig.), A tip made of a cemented carbide alloy is brazed to the tip of the alloy steel shank 1 (Fig. 2), and a molten high-speed steel is made at the tip of the alloy steel shank 1 disclosed in JP 59-24468. (JIS SKH51
Etc.), three types of brazing chips (FIG. 2) were used.

Since this has a low joint strength, there is a drawback that the cemented carbide tip comes off from the joint when hit with a nail or the like.

High hardness is obtained by adding Mo to 22 or more, and by adding 3 to 15% of one or more carbides, nitrides, carbonitrides or oxides of Group IVa of the periodic table as needed. It is intended to obtain wear resistance by using the alloy described above.

The product of the present invention has a life of about 6 times as long as the alloy steel integrated product and twice as long as that of the SKH51 friction welding product, and made of molten HSS brazed product or cemented carbide. It can be seen that the product can be used stably without the damage such as the chip brazing.

A sample was also made and tested by the friction welding method according to. In addition, even in the case where the joining method was the heating and pressure welding method with the same combination as the product of the present invention in Table 1, the joined portion endured the test of 50,000 times and the wear amount was almost the same.
