As a display device with a rotation / tilt mechanism for improving the operability of the operator, for example, as shown in FIG. 1 (Fig. 8 of the present application) of Japanese Patent Application No. 58-90980, signals and electric power are sent to the display device 32. The cable 33 is guided through the inside of a display device with a rotation / tilt mechanism, which includes a lower base 34, a rotary base 35 that can rotate horizontally on the upper surface of the lower base 34, and an upper base 36 that can tilt on the rotary base 35. It has been known. This device is simply a combination of an independent rotating mechanism and tilting mechanism, and the stopper structure for processing and rotating the cable 33 is simple, but there is a problem that many components are expensive and the assemblability thereof is poor. Furthermore, since there are many components, it is small,
There was a problem that the weight could not be reduced.

Next, when it is desired to rotate the device body 2, when a force to rotate the device body 2 horizontally in the clockwise direction or the counterclockwise direction is applied, the protrusion 10 at the bottom of the device body 2 is above the recess 3 of the lower base 1. The surface of the spacer 19 is slid around the column 4 so that the device body 2 smoothly rotates at a desired angle. This rotation is
It is possible even when the device body 2 is tilted at a desired angle. However, if the device main body 2 is rotated 360 ° or more, the signal cable 12 and the power cable 13 are deformed more than necessary to cause troubles such as cutting. Therefore, the stopper 18 provided at the bottom of the device main body 2 is recessed in the lower base 1. The groove 9 provided in the place 3 is orbited in the range of the groove 9 and stopped by the rotation stopper 8. The device body 2 can be rotated to a desired angle within the range of the groove 9.

The display device shown in the above embodiment can be further miniaturized while having a rotation / tilt mechanism, and can be manufactured at low cost with a small number of components. Moreover, since the shapes of the parts are simple, the number of assembling steps can be significantly reduced. Since the display device that can be rotated and tilted can be downsized, the space can be saved and the degree of freedom of arrangement such as installation on a desk is increased. In this embodiment, when the width of the groove 9 provided in the recess 3 of the lower base 1 is not sufficiently large with respect to the diameter of the cylindrical stopper 18 provided at the bottom of the apparatus body 2, a large inclination is obtained. Performing an action may induce a rotational action.

The apparatus of the above-described embodiment is composed of the apparatus main body 2 and the lower base 1, and the apparatus main body 2 always has the rotating / tilting mechanism. As shown in FIG. 7, the apparatus main body 2 is separated from the lower base 1, and an upper base 31 that replaces the apparatus main body 2 is provided.
By moving the parts having the above structure and the parts to the upper base 31, it becomes a separate rotating / tilting device, and its application is further expanded.

1. A lower base having a spherical concave portion having an upper surface protruding near the center of the concave portion, and a bottom convex portion on a spherical surface substantially fitted in the concave portion, wherein the convex portion has the pillar. And a device main body having a groove having a width slightly larger than the diameter of the device so that the support column fits in the groove, and the support column is provided with a cable connecting to the device main body from the lower base through the inside of the support column. A display device with a rotation / tilt mechanism, which is formed in a hollow shape so that the device main body can be rotated and tilted by using the support column as a fixed shaft. The device is wound around and held along the support column several times inside the protrusion of the device, and has substantially the same shape as the internal shape of the protrusion so as to prevent the cable from overriding the support column and is see-through. Provided on the main body A display device with a rotation / tilt mechanism, comprising: a pressing member; and a rotation restraining mechanism for restricting the device main body from rotating more than a certain amount with respect to the lower base.
