During operation of the air conditioner, the compressor (5) is driven to operate a refrigerant circuit (not shown), and the outdoor heat exchanger (6) functions as a condenser during cooling and as an evaporator during heating. On the other hand, the air blower (7) is also operated, and the air suction port (4
Outdoor air is sucked in from 2) and heated or cooled by the outdoor heat exchanger (6), and then the air outlet (4
It is discharged from 3) above the outdoor unit (4).

When installed, the exhaust air flow blown out from the air outlet will be the floor of the balcony or balcony on the upper floor (1).
However, there is a problem that a short cycle operation is performed in which the air flows downward and is sucked again from the air suction port (42), and the protective device of the air conditioner operates to make the operation impossible. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5, a blow-out guide (8) is provided above the air outlet (43) of the box body, and the exhaust air of the outdoor unit is blown toward the front of the outdoor unit, that is, the outside of the building,
It has been conventionally done to prevent own exhaust from short cycle, but in this case as well, the warmed exhaust flows upward as an updraft near the building during cooling operation, so the unit on the lower floors Exhaust air was sucked into the upper floor unit, causing a problem of abnormal operation.

An air blowing guide to be controlled is provided, and the air suction port is arranged so as to face the wall surface of the building.

き、安定した空気調和機の運転が可能となる。According to the present invention, the air blowing direction is changed by the air blowing guide provided at the air outlet to the side opposite to the side of the box provided with the air inlet, that is, the outside of the building. Therefore, the exhaust flow does not hit the floor of the balcony on the upper floor and short cycle does not occur in the balcony, and there is no air inlet on the side where the exhaust flows, so Short cycle operation in which exhaust gas is sucked in on the upper floors can be made difficult to occur, and stable operation of the air conditioner becomes possible.

FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing the structure of an outdoor unit according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this figure, (8) is an air outlet guide installed on the upper part of the air outlet (43), and as shown in the figure, the air outlet is in the direction opposite to the side where the air inlet (42) is provided. (81) is provided. Other configurations are the same as the conventional ones, and thus the description thereof is omitted. FIG. 2 shows a state in which the outdoor unit having such a structure is installed on the balcony of each floor of a multi-story building. In this case, the outdoor unit is installed with the exhaust port (81) facing the outside of the building, and when the air conditioner is operated, the exhaust flow discharged from the air outlet (43) is the air outlet guide (8). It is guided to the front of the exhaust port (81), that is, to the outside of the building, and does not hit the floor of the balcony on the upper floor. Also, in this case, the air intake port of the outdoor unit faces the wall surface of the building,
The intake air flows between the outdoor unit and the wall surface of the building, and is taken in from the side surface opposite to the exhaust port (81). For example, the warm air discharged from the exhaust port (81) during the cooling operation becomes an ascending airflow. Also, it is possible to prevent a short cycle in which the outdoor unit on the upper floor sucks the exhaust gas of the unit on the lower floor as it is.

ある。As described above, the present invention is a box body which is installed on the balcony of each floor of a multi-storey building and is provided with an air inlet on the side surface facing the wall surface of the multi-storey building and an air outlet on the upper surface. The outdoor heat exchanger provided in the box body, the air blower for exhausting the air passing through the outdoor heat exchanger from the air outlet, and the exhaust port for horizontally exhausting the air are provided on one side. An air outlet guide is provided which is attached to the outlet and whose exhaust port is arranged on the side surface facing the air intake port.
