Sonic supports all EVM-compatible wallets, including MetaMask, WalletConnect wallets, and 1inch Wallet. Manual setup:
Mainnet:
Network name: Sonic
RPC: https://rpc.soniclabs.com
Chain ID: 146
Symbol: ETH
Explorer: https://sonicscan.org/
Sonic fees are very low, typically just a fraction of a cent in ETH. Transactions achieve near-instant confirmations, with finality measured in seconds thanks to the chain’s fast consensus design.
Yes. While Sonic offers near-instant finality, RPC endpoints may have rate limits or response quirks under load. For production, use the 1inch Web3 RPC API.
For stable pairs, 0.1-0.3% slippage is generally sufficient on Sonic. For liquid volatile pairs, 0.5-1% is common. On smaller or highly volatile pools, 1-2% or more may be necessary. Always adapt slippage settings to volatility and liquidity depth.
You should grant only the minimum necessary token approvals, not unlimited allowances. Use Permit2 or permit flows where supported. Regularly review and revoke unused allowances via the block explorer or trusted revoke tools to keep wallets secure.
Network health, maintenance, and incident reports are available on the official Sonic status page, as well as through Sonic’s documentation and community channels, which provide announcements on upgrades and performance updates.
