Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Feuerlöschschaummittel.The invention relates to a fire extinguishing foam agent.

To extinguish fires the use of fire extinguishing foam agents is also known, which consists of a foam-forming component, an anti-freeze component, possibly a foam stabilizer and a solvent, such as Water, and in which a highly effective shielding of the oxygen supply to the fire object is achieved on the basis of proteins or surfactants. Hydrolysed proteins, e.g. Protein hydrolyzates, possibly combined with fluorosurfactants or surfactants at all. Wildfires can also be fought alone with water film-forming foaming agents (AFFF). The foaming agents are added in amounts of approximately 2% to 6% to the extinguishing water, which forms the foam mechanically when mixed with air.

These known fire extinguishing foam agents and foaming compositions, which are also suitable for use as fire extinguishing agents and others. are provided, serve to increase the stability of the foam produced and serve to support foam formation.

The invention is therefore based on the object to provide an improved fire extinguishing foam agent with improved fire protection properties, which has a very good compatibility with a wide variety of polymer film formers, which are otherwise not compatible with conventional surfactants, and which allows the incorporation of a wide variety of antifreeze agents, at the same time improved seawater resistance is to be achieved, so that the fire extinguishing foam agent polar even in fires Liquids and water-miscible hydrocarbons can be used at sea. Furthermore, the suction behavior at low temperatures should be achieved in addition to an improvement in the stability of the foam against acids and alkalis.

This object is achieved by a fire extinguishing foam agent with the features characterized in claim 1.

  • Erhöhung der Seewasserbeständigkeit und somit Verträglichkeit der schaumbildenden Komponente bei Verwendung von Seewasser im Löscheinsatz;
  • wesentliche Erweiterung der Anzahl der zu löschenden, schaumzerstörenden Flüssigkeiten;
  • Verbesserung des Ansaugverhaltens,insbesondere bei tiefen Temperaturen,
    • a) durch Viskositätserniedrigung (Verringerung des Polymerfilmbildners)
    • b) Verbesserung des pseudoplastischen (strukturviskosen) Verhaltens;
  • Verbesserung der Alterungsbeständigkeit, speziell bei extremen Temperaturen sowie der Gefrier- und Aufbaustabilität;
  • Verbesserung der Hitzebeständigkeit des Konzentrats;
  • Verbesserung des Korrosionsverhaltens;
  • Erhöhung der Stabilität des Schaumes gegenüber Säuren und Alkalien, was besonders vorteilhaft zur Emissionsminderung bei Abdeckung ausgelaufener Chemikalien ist;
  • erhebliche Minderung der Fisch- und Bakterientoxizität;
  • Einsparung von zusätzlichen Tensiden und Schaumstabilisatoren.
The use of an alkyl polyglycoside as a foam-forming component in a fire extinguishing foam agent achieves significant improvements in fire extinguishing foam agents. These advantages are given by the good compatibility of the alkyl polyglycoside with various polymer film formers, which are not compatible with conventional surfactants, and also by the possibility of incorporating various anti-freeze agents. The following advantages are achieved compared to conventional fire extinguishing foam agents:
  • Increase in seawater resistance and thus compatibility of the foam-forming component when using seawater in fire fighting;
  • substantial expansion of the number of foam-destroying liquids to be extinguished;
  • Improvement of the suction behavior, especially at low temperatures,
    • a) by lowering the viscosity (reducing the polymer film former)
    • b) improvement of pseudoplastic (pseudoplastic) behavior;
  • Improvement of aging resistance, especially at extreme temperatures as well as freezing and building stability;
  • Improving the heat resistance of the concentrate;
  • Improvement of corrosion behavior;
  • Increasing the stability of the foam against acids and alkalis, which is particularly advantageous for reducing emissions when covering leaking chemicals;
  • significant reduction in fish and bacterial toxicity;
  • Saving additional surfactants and foam stabilizers.
