Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Feuerlöschschaummittel. The invention relates to a fire extinguishing foam agent.
To extinguish fires the use of fire extinguishing foam agents is also known, which consists of a foam-forming component, an anti-freeze component, possibly a foam stabilizer and a solvent, such as Water, and in which a highly effective shielding of the oxygen supply to the fire object is achieved on the basis of proteins or surfactants. Hydrolysed proteins, e.g. Protein hydrolyzates, possibly combined with fluorosurfactants or surfactants at all. Wildfires can also be fought alone with water film-forming foaming agents (AFFF). The foaming agents are added in amounts of approximately 2% to 6% to the extinguishing water, which forms the foam mechanically when mixed with air.

Das Feuerlöschschaummittel weist folgende Zusammensetzung auf:
- a) Als schaumbildende Komponente Alkylpolyglycosid der Formel
- a) As a foam-forming component alkyl polyglycoside of the formula
in which n is an integer from 2 to 10 and R is the remainder of a fatty alcohol having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, in particular from the group of primary fatty alcohols, - b) polysaccharides, for example a linear polysaccharide,
- c) a fluorosurfactant, these being surfactants which carry a perfluoroalkyl radical as the hydrophobic group, such as, for example, F₁₇C₈-SO₃K or F₁₇C₈-CONR₂,
- d) a known antifreeze, for example glycols, glycol ether or urea,
- e) foam booster and antifreeze, propylene glycol n-butyl ether and / or dipropylene glycol n-butyl ether being used.
Because of its foam-enhancing properties and the fact that it can be used as an antifreeze, the propylene glycol n-butyl ether and / or di-propylene glycol n-butyl ether can also be added to any known fire extinguishing foam agent.
The invention is explained on the basis of the exemplary embodiment below, in which a fire extinguishing foam agent with the foam-forming component as recipe 3 is compared with a fire extinguishing foam agent as recipes 1 and 2, recipe 1 as foaming agent containing no alkyl polyglycoside, and recipe 2 containing no ether.
Bei den in % angegebenen Konzentrationen handelt es sich um Gewichts-%.The concentrations given in% are% by weight.
