監視し、占有状態を検出すると経過時間を計測し、予め
定める時間長を越えるとタイムアウト信号を出力する。

求手段とを備えることにより、上位システムに占有され
ていても一定時間使用されていない入出力装置は、占有
している上位システムに解放要求を行い解放させること
ができ、入出力装置の有効活用を計ることが可能となる
という効果が有る。

出力装置の解放を通知する入出力装置の占有制御方法に
おいて、前記第1の上位システムが占有している前記特
定の入出力装置の占有状態の経過時間を計測し、予め定
める時間長以上占有していれば前記第1の上位システム
に対し前記特定の入出力装置の解放要求を行うことを特
