り、またグリ−スの劣化が促進されると膜が破壊する。
特に本体と栓体との材質が異なる場合では、その熱膨張
係数も異なるので摺動部の隙間がなくなり、グリ−ス膜
の破壊が著しく促進される。グリ−スには低摩擦微細粒
を混入してあるが、この微細粒がNi−Pメッキ皮膜の
多孔内(実際には下地がビーズブラスト等により仕上げ
られてあるために生じた多孔内)に保持されていても微
細粒では摺動部のシ−ル性が確保できず、長期に渡って
シ−ル性を維持できない。本発明は、過酷な使用状態で
も長期に渡って回動操作性及びシ−ル性を保持するガス
コックを提供するものである。

響を大きく受けており、試験前の回転トルクに比べて大
幅に増加している。コックの呼び寸法の大きさからする
と、トルクが10を超えるとハンドル操作は不可能な状
態である。またヒ−トサイクル10回後の60°Cでは
回転が不可能であった。これに比べて本実施例品では熱
による影響が少なく、十分ハンドル操作が行える低いト
ルク値であった。これは本体1と栓体2を同種の金属で
構成した効果が発揮されていると考えられる。またそれ
に加えて、上記したごとく硬いNi−Pメッキ皮膜3の
上に柔らかいSnメッキ皮膜4を設けたので、カジリ付
の防止や滑りの向上に役立ち、操作性を向上しているも
のと考えられる。
