この発明は、パチンコ機、スロットルマシーン等のような遊技機のエレクトロルミネッセンスに電気ユニットからのフラットケーブルを接続する遊技機の発光装置における配線接続装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
遊技機では、例えば実開平4−50092号公報に開示されたように、遊技板の前面にエレクトロルミネッセンスプレートを設け、電気ユニットからエレクトロルミネッセンスプレートの透明電極および背面電極に電力を制御しつつ供給することによって、エレクトロルミネッセンスプレートの発光層が所定色に発光するようにした発光装置が知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記発光装置を備えた遊技機を製造する場合には、大まかには、ベニヤのような遊技板の前面にエレクトロルミネッセンスプレートを取り付ける一方、遊技板の裏面に電気ユニットを取り付け、電気ユニットおよびエレクトロルミネッセンスプレート間にフラットケーブルを配線する必要がある。この場合、フラットケーブルの一端に設けられた端子部をエレクトロルミネッセンスプレートの周縁に設けられた端子部に予めはんだ付け等で接続しておき、フラットケーブルの他端に設けられた端子部を後工程で遊技板の裏面に取り付けられた電気ユニットの端子部に接続することが考えられるが、フラットケーブルの他端に設けられた端子部を電気ユニットの端子部に接続するまでの製造工程において、フラットケーブルが遊技板よりぶら下がるように突出して作業の邪魔になる。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明に係る遊技機の発光装置における配線接続装置は、遊技板と、遊技板の周縁の一部に遊技板の前面と背面と端面とに開口するように遊技板の端面から内側に窪み形成された切欠部と、遊技板の前面に取付けられたエレクトロルミネッセンスプレートと、エレクトロルミネッセンスプレートにおける遊技板の切欠部と対応する位置に設けられたプレート側端子部と、プレート側端子部における遊技板側の絶縁層が除去されて露出された導体と、エレクトロルミネッセンスプレートに電力を供給する電気ユニットより導出されて切欠部に配置されるフラットケーブルと、フラットケーブルの先端に設けられたケーブル側端子部と、ケーブル側端子部における片側の絶縁被覆が除去されて露出された導体と、ケーブル側端子部の導体とプレート側端子部の導体とが互いに重ね合せられて接続された場合にケーブル側端子部の導体を支持するように残存した絶縁被覆を受け止めるようにエレクトロルミネッセンスプレートから露出された遊技板の前面および切欠部に配置された受け側固定部材と、プレート側端子部の導体を支持するように残存した絶縁被覆および受け側固定部材におけるケーブル側端子部よりも両側に突出した部分に被せられた押え側固定部材と、押え側固定部材の両側に設けられた取付板と、押え側固定部材におけるプレート側端子部の導体を支持するように残存した絶縁被覆と対応する押え部に設けられかつ取付板がねじ釘で遊技板に締結されることによってプレート側端子部の導体と受け側固定部材で支持されたケーブル側端子部の導体とを互いに弾性下で接触するように圧縮される押圧部とを備えたことを特徴としている。よって、本発明に係る遊技機の発光装置における配線接続装置によれば、押え側固定部材の取付板がねじ釘で遊技板に締結されて固定されるのに伴い、押圧部が押え側固定部材とケーブル側端子部の導体を支持するように残存した絶縁被覆との間で圧縮されてプレート側端子部の導体と受け側固定部材で支持されたケーブル側端子部の導体とを互いに弾性下で接触するので、遊技中における振動が配線接続装置に伝達されても、遊技板の外側にはみ出すことなく切欠部に対応するプレート側端子部の導体とケーブル側端子部の導体との互いに重ね合せられて接続された状態が適切に確保されるという利点がある。受け側固定部材における遊技板の端面の側に位置する一端にはケーブル側端子部の位置を決めるための先端面位置決め壁体が受け側固定部材から押え側固定部材に向けて突出するように設けられ、フラットケーブルが受け側固定部材と遊技板における切欠部の窪んだ部分との間を経由して遊技板の裏面に配置されれば、プレート側端子部の導体に対するケーブル側端子部の導体の位置が正確になるという利点がある。受け側固定部材には遊技板の切欠部に取り込まれる補強壁が設けられれば、受け側固定部材によるケーブル側端子部を支持する強度が高くなり、プレート側端子部の導体とケーブル側端子部の導体との接続された状態を確保する性能が一層向上するという利点がある。押え側固定部材における遊技板の端面の側に位置する一端には遊技板の切欠部に取り込まれる補強壁が設けられ、フラットケーブルが受け側固定部材から押え側固定部材の補強壁で遊技板の裏面側に折り曲げられて切欠部から遊技板の裏面に配置されれば、押え側固定部材によるプレート側端子部を支持する強度が高くなり、プレート側端子部の導体とケーブル側端子部の導体との接続された状態を確保する性能が一層向上するという利点がある。
