本発明に係る請求項1記載のスクリュー式濾過脱水装置は、複数枚の環状濾過プレートを互に細隙を隔てて積層状に配列させ、複数枚の環状可動プレートを上記環状濾過プレートの積層間に遊装させることにより上記各細隙を分離水流出溝とする筒状の濾過体に形成し、該濾過体の中心孔にスクリューコンベアを嵌装し、濾過体の始端開口部を汚泥原水の送り込み口とし終端開口部を脱水ケーキの送り出し口とするスクリュー式濾過脱水装置であって、各環状濾過プレートの外周には各環状可動プレートの外径よりも大径に形成された座部を有し、該座部の裏面に凹窩を形成させて表面へ打ち出された間隔保持用突子が、隣接する環状濾過プレートにおける座部と当接することにより前記分離水流出溝の溝幅を規整し、且つ、各座部の外周縁は環状可動プレートと非接触状に設けられた固定体内周に凸条と凹溝の係入からなる回り止め構造介して支承させたことを特徴とする。また、本発明に係る請求項2記載のスクリュー式濾過脱水装置は、請求項1記載の構成を前提として、各座部の裏面に凹窩を形成させて表面へ打ち出された間隔保持用凸子を配設するについて、一の環状濾過プレートにおける座部の間隔保持用凸子と、隣接する環状濾過プレートにおける座部の凹窩とが重なり合わないよう、相互に変位させた位置に配設されていることを特徴とする。
