本発明は浴室用洗い場およびその製造方法に関わるもので、特に洗い場の残水を少なくし、洗い場表面の水乾き時間を短縮することのできる浴室用洗い場を供するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、洗い場の残水を少なくし、洗い場表面の水乾き時間を短縮する方法として特開2002−54295公報に記載されているように洗い場表面の形状を工夫し、溝を設ける方式のものがあった。すなわち、表面に滑り止め用の凸部とこれら凸部の間に排水口または流し溝に連続する流路が形成され少なくとも該流路の上に水玉の表面張力を破壊する凹凸形状部が重ねて形成されることにより、流路内を流れる水の流速を抑制し途中で水が途切れて島状に残ることがなくなり、より短時間で床の表面乾燥が可能になるというものである。

本発明は上記課題を解決するめに、排水口に向かって水が流れるように勾配が設けられた洗い場において、前記洗い場の表面が親水部分と疎水部分とに区画形成され、前記親水部分は、排水口に向かって連通するように区画形成すると共に、高い所から低いところへの勾配に従ってより幅広く区画形成したものである。このような構成にすることにより、水の流れる溝を構成することなく洗い場表面の初期残水量を減らすことができるとともに、見た目にも解り易く、洗い場表面の水乾きの効率を良くすることができる。そして、洗い場表面の水の流れを確実にしかつスムーズに排水することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の請求項1にかかる発明は、排水口に向かって水が流れるように勾配が設けられた洗い場において、表面が親水部分と疎水部分とに区画形成され、前記親水部分は排水口に向かって連通するように区画形成されるように構成したものである。

以下、本発明の実施例について図面を用いて説明する。

図1の浴室内の斜視図に示すように、浴室は、浴槽、洗い場、壁、窓、天井、扉、鏡、水栓、換気扇などの部材を組み合わせることにより構成される。洗い場1は、排水口2に向かって水が流れるように勾配が設けられている。図2は、図1で示した洗い場表面の部分平面図であり、親水部分3と疎水部分4とに区画形成してあり、前記親水部分3は排水口1に向かって連通するように区画形成されている。図3は、その断面図(a)と水滴5がきた場合の流れの様子を示した模式図(b)、(c)である。水滴5において、親水部分3は水と馴染む性質があるので、水の表面張力は弱められ水が薄い膜状に広がろうとし、疎水部分4は水の表面張力により水を弾こうとする性質になる。そこで、疎水部分4にある水は親水部分3へ行く力が働き、かつ親水部分3は排水口に向かって連通するように区画形成されているので親水部分3にある水は排水口1に流れ去るので、その結果として図3(c)のようになり洗い場に流された多量の水は親水部分のみ薄い膜状に広がった状態になる。そして、疎水部分4で区画整理された部分は水に濡れずに乾燥しているという状態にすることができる。

(実施例2)
次に具体的な製造方法について述べる。既知の方法で金型を用いSMC(シートモールディングコンパウンド)材料をプレス成形し排水口に向かって水が流れるように勾配が設けられた洗い場として形状を付与した成形体を得る。SMC材料自体が水を弾く性質があり洗い場表面全体が疎水部分の状態になっている。次に、目的とする疎水部分をマスキングフィルムなどにより区画し塗料が予めかからないようにするとともに、親水部分は排水口に向かって連通するように区画する。次に、親水材料を含む塗料を洗い場表面に塗装し硬化させ、洗い場表面に約20μmの親水性の塗装膜を構成する。その後マスキングフィルムを剥がして目的とする浴室用洗い場を得る。このようにして得られた洗い場は、実施例1で述べた作用効果を得ることができる。
