所定形態の演出部材と、その演出部材を遊技盤の遊技領域に出没自在に動作させる駆動手段と、その演出部材の動作と連係して作動する被検出片と、その被検出片の所定部位を検出する検出手段とを備えたパチンコ機の役物装置において、
前記演出部材に一体に設けられた回転軸を前記駆動手段のモータ装置により時計方向及び反時計方向に回転自在に設け、そのモータ装置の出力軸に取り付けた駆動ギヤと一体状に設けられた扇形の被検出片は時計方向又は反時計方向の何れかの方向へ回転した前進端にて前記単独の検出手段により検出されるように設けられ、他方、その被検出片は前記方向と反対方向へ回転した後退端において前記検出手段により検出されないように設けられ、
パチンコ機の電源投入時において、前記検出手段により被検出片を検出していない場合には、前記検出手段により被検出片を検出するまで前記モータ装置を一方向へ回転駆動させて、検出手段により被検出片を検出したことに基づいてモータ装置をその方向と反対方向へ回転駆動させ、ついで、検出手段により被検出片を検出しなくなったことに基づいてモータ装置を停止させて前記演出部材が露出位置から、遊技領域より隠れた状態の収納位置を原位置とするように制御し、若しくはパチンコ機の電源投入時において前記検出手段により被検出片を検出している場合には、前記検出手段により被検出片を検出しなくなるまでモータ装置を前記反対方向へ回転駆動させて、検出手段により被検出片を検出しないことに基づいてモータ装置を停止させて前記演出部材が露出位置から、遊技領域より隠れた状態の収納位置を原位置とするように制御し、
