Description
まず、正極活物質であるリチウムコバルト複合酸化物(LiCoO2 )粉末と、導電剤であるグラファイトと、結着剤であるポリフッ化ビニリデンとを混合して正極合剤を調製したのち、溶剤であるN−メチル−2−ピロリドンに分散させて正極合剤スラリーを作製した。次いで、正極合剤スラリーをアルミニウム箔よりなる正極集電体13Aの両面に塗布し乾燥させたのち圧縮成型して正極活物質層13Bを形成することにより、帯状の正極13を作製した。続いて、正極13の端部に正極リード11を溶接した。
Claims (6)
- 正極と負極とがゲル状の電解質層およびセパレータを介して積層され、その電解質層が前記正極と前記セパレータとの間および前記負極と前記セパレータとの間に設けられた電池素子を有し、
前記電池素子は、フィルム状の外装部材の内部に収納され、
前記負極は、負極活物質として、スズ(Sn)およびケイ素(Si)のうちの少なくとも一方を構成元素として含む材料を含有し、
前記電解質層は、高分子化合物および電解液を含み、
前記正極と負極との間の距離は、前記電解質層を介して対向配置されている領域において、15μm以上50μm以下であり、
前記正極と前記セパレータとの間の距離および前記負極と前記セパレータとの間の距離は、前記電解質層が設けられている領域において、それぞれ3μm以上20μm以下である、
リチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記負極活物質は、(1)スズと、コバルト(Co)と、炭素(C)とを構成元素として含み、(2)炭素の含有量が9.9質量%以上29.7質量%以下であり、かつスズとコバルトとの合計に対するコバルトの割合が30質量%以上70質量%以下であり、(3)X線回折により得られる回折ピークの半値幅が1.0°以上であるCoSnC含有材料を含有する、請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記高分子化合物は、ビニリデンフルオライドを成分として含む重合体を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記高分子化合物は、ビニリデンフルオライドとヘキサフルオロプロピレンとを成分として含む共重合体であり、
前記共重合体におけるヘキサフルオロプロピレンの共重合量は、3質量%以上20質量%以下であり、
前記共重合体は、重量平均分子量が50万以上80万以下である成分と、30万以上55万以下である成分とを含み、その30万以上55万以下である成分の割合は、40質量%以下である、
請求項3記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記セパレータの厚さは5μm以上35μm以下であると共に、その空孔率は30%以上60%以下である、請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記電解液は、電解質塩および非水溶媒を含む、請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
