Description
菱形の対向する一対の頂点を通る直線がX軸と平行となるようにX方向に隣接して設けられたX方向長さX1の菱形の第1〜第4フォトダイオードと、
X方向長さ2×X1の光透過部と遮光部が繰り返し設けられX方向に移動するスリット部材と、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した前記第1〜第4フォトダイオードの出力信号から第1検出信号と、前記第1検出信号に対し位相が前記第1検出信号の1/4周期だけずれた第2検出信号を生成する論理回路を有し、
前記論理回路は、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した前記第1フォトダイオードの出力信号と前記第3フォトダイオードの出力信号を比較して前記第1検出信号を得る第1コンパレータと、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した前記第2フォトダイオードの出力信号と前記第4フォトダイオードの出力信号を比較して前記第2検出信号を得る第2コンパレータを有することにより、検出信号の立ち上がり及び立ち下がりのジッタを低減できる。
複数組の前記第1〜第4フォトダイオードをX方向に隣接して設ける。

Claims (5)
- 菱形の対向する一対の頂点を通る直線がX軸と平行となるようにX方向に隣接して設けられたX方向長さX1の菱形の第1〜第4フォトダイオードと、
X方向長さ2×X1の光透過部と遮光部が繰り返し設けられX方向に移動するスリット部材と、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した前記第1〜第4フォトダイオードの出力信号から第1検出信号と、前記第1検出信号に対し位相が前記第1検出信号の1/4周期だけずれた第2検出信号を生成する論理回路を有し、
前記論理回路は、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した前記第1フォトダイオードの出力信号と前記第3フォトダイオードの出力信号を比較して前記第1検出信号を得る第1コンパレータと、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した前記第2フォトダイオードの出力信号と前記第4フォトダイオードの出力信号を比較して前記第2検出信号を得る第2コンパレータを有することを特徴とするエンコーダ装置。 - 請求項1記載のエンコーダ装置において、
前記光透過部と遮光部は、前記X方向と直交するY方向幅が前記第1〜第4フォトダイオードのY方向幅を超えることを特徴とするエンコーダ装置。 - 請求項1又は2記載のエンコーダ装置において、
複数組の前記第1〜第4フォトダイオードをX方向に隣接して設けたことを特徴とするエンコーダ装置。 - 菱形の対向する一対の頂点を通る直線がX軸と平行となるようにX方向に隣接して設けられたX方向長さX1の菱形の第1〜第8フォトダイオードと、
X方向長さ2×X1の光透過部と遮光部が繰り返し設けられX方向に移動するスリット部材と、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した前記第1〜第8フォトダイオードの出力信号から第1検出信号と、前記第1検出信号に対し位相が前記第1検出信号の1/4周期だけずれた第2検出信号を生成する論理回路を
有することを特徴とするエンコーダ装置。 - 請求項4記載のエンコーダ装置において、
前記論理回路は、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した前記第1フォトダイオードの出力信号と第5フォトダイオードの出力信号との出力を加算した第1の信号と、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した第3フォトダイオードの出力信号と第7フォトダイオードの出力信号との出力を加算した第2の信号と、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した第2フォトダイオードの出力信号と第6フォトダイオードの出力信号との出力を加算した第3の信号と、
前記光透過部を透過した光を受光した第4フォトダイオードの出力信号と前記第8フォトダイオードの出力信号との出力を加算した第4の信号と、
を形成し、
前記第1の信号と前記第3の信号を比較して前記第1検出信号を得る第1コンパレータと、
前記第2の信号と前記第4の信号を比較して前記第2検出信号を得る第2コンパレータを
有することを特徴とするエンコーダ装置。
