Claims (5)
- 冷却オイルが電動式オイルポンプによって循環させられることにより、該冷却オイルによって所定の冷却対象を冷却する油循環回路と、
前記冷却オイルの温度である油温を検出する油温センサと、
前記冷却対象を冷却するために前記電動式オイルポンプを作動させる回転指令を出力する冷却制御部を備えている制御装置と、
を有する車両の冷却システムにおいて、
前記制御装置は、車両の運転停止時間が予め定められた診断許可時間よりも長く、且つ前記油温センサによって検出された油温検出値が予め定められた診断許可温度よりも高いことを条件として、前記電動式オイルポンプに回転指令を出力し、該電動式オイルポンプの回転状態に基づいて異常の有無を診断するポンプ異常診断部を有する
ことを特徴とする車両の冷却システム。 - 前記冷却制御部は、前記電動式オイルポンプに回転指令を出力した場合に該電動式オイルポンプが回転異常の時には仮異常判定を行うようになっており、
前記ポンプ異常診断部は、前記冷却制御部によって前記仮異常判定が為された場合に前記異常の有無の診断処理を実行する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両の冷却システム。 - 前記冷却制御部は、前記油温検出値が前記電動式オイルポンプの作動を許容する温度として予め定められた作動許容温度よりも高いことを条件として前記電動式オイルポンプに回転指令を出力するもので、
前記診断許可温度は前記作動許容温度と同じかそれよりも高い温度が定められる
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両の冷却システム。 - 前記冷却対象は回転機で、
前記油温センサは、前記電動式オイルポンプのオイル吸入部位よりも前記回転機の近傍に配置されており、
前記車両の冷却システムは、前記回転機の温度である回転機温度を検出する回転機温度センサを備えており、
前記冷却制御部は、予め定められた冷却要求判定が成立し、且つ前記油温検出値が前記電動式オイルポンプの作動を許容する温度として予め定められた作動許容温度よりも高い場合に前記電動式オイルポンプに回転指令を出力するもので、
前記冷却要求判定は、前記回転機温度センサによって検出された回転機温度検出値および前記油温検出値の少なくとも一方が、予め定められた冷却必要温度よりも高いことを条件として成立するもので、
前記診断許可温度は前記作動許容温度と同じかそれよりも高い温度が定められる
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両の冷却システム。 - 前記冷却対象は、走行用駆動力源として用いられる電動モータで、
前記電動モータと、前記電動モータの出力をディファレンシャル装置を介して左右の車輪に伝達するトランスアクスルと、前記電動モータおよび前記トランスアクスルを収容するケースと、を含んで電気駆動ユニットが構成されており、
前記ケースは、前記電動モータを収容するモータ室と、前記トランスアクスルを収容するギヤ室と、を備えており、
前記電動式オイルポンプは、前記ギヤ室に設けられた油溜に還流させられた前記冷却オイルを吸入して、オイルクーラを経て前記モータ室内の前記電動モータに供給する一方、
前記油温センサは前記モータ室に配置されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の車両の冷却システム。
