Description

This disclosure relates to a toilet cabinet.

Conventionally, toilet cabinets are known that are installed in a toilet space between a toilet bowl and a wall behind or to the side of the toilet bowl. The applicant has already proposed a toilet cabinet (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The toilet cabinet has a cover that covers the space between the toilet bowl and the wall, and can hide the stopcock, electrical outlet, water supply and drainage pipes, etc. installed behind or to the side of the toilet bowl. The cover has, for example, a fascia board that is installed facing the wall with a gap between them, and a top board that extends from the top of the fascia board to the wall.

By installing the toilet cabinet described in Patent Document 1 in the toilet space, items can be placed on the top plate. The inventors of the present application have conducted extensive research to further improve the convenience of the toilet cabinet.

The present disclosure aims to provide a toilet cabinet that is easy to clean.

In order to achieve the above object, the toilet cabinet according to the present disclosure comprises one or more cabinets provided on a wall surface of a toilet space, a fascia provided to cover the cabinets, and a top plate that closes an opening between the upper part of the fascia and the wall surface, and a fixed frame to which the fascia and the top plate can be detached is attached to the wall surface, the end surface of the top plate on the toilet side is connected to the back surface of the upper side of the fascia, and an L-shaped top plate engaging portion that engages with the fixed frame is fixed to the underside of the top plate.

As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the toilet cabinet 1 is a storage device installed in a toilet space 11 in which a toilet bowl 12 is provided. The toilet space 11 has, for example, at least a first wall surface 14 (wall surface) and a second wall surface 15 provided in a direction perpendicular to the first wall surface 14. The toilet cabinet 1 is installed in a corner formed by the first wall surface 14 and the second wall surface 15, spaced upward from the floor surface G. In the following, for the toilet bowl 12, the side in front of a user seated on the toilet seat is referred to as the front side, and the opposite side is referred to as the rear side, and the direction connecting the front side and the rear side is referred to as the front-to-rear direction. The horizontal direction perpendicular to the front-to-rear direction is referred to as the left-to-right direction, and the right and left sides of the left-to-right direction are the same sides as the right and left sides of a user seated on the toilet seat facing forward.

A first wall 14 is provided on the rear side of the toilet bowl 12, with the wall surface extending in the left-right direction, and a second wall 15 (wall surface) is provided on the left side of the toilet bowl 12, with the wall surface extending in the front-to-rear direction. The toilet bowl 12 is provided near the corner 16 between the first wall 14 and the second wall 15. The toilet bowl 12 is directly connected to the water supply and does not have a tank (low tank) for storing flushing water, making it a so-called tankless toilet.

2 and 3, the water supply pipe 171 connected to the toilet 12 is configured to receive water from a stop valve 172 provided on the first wall surface 14. The stop valve 172 protrudes forward from the first wall surface 14. The stop valve 172 uses an elbow member 173 that bends the flow direction of the downstream side in a direction (downward) along the first wall surface 14. The water supply pipe 171 is connected to the downstream side of the elbow member 173. Since the flow direction of the downstream side of the elbow member 173 is along the first wall surface 14, the water supply pipe 171 connected to the downstream side of the elbow member 173 is oriented along the first wall surface 14. The drainage of the toilet 12 is configured to flow to a drain pipe under the floor.

The hand washing basin 13 is attached to the second wall surface 15. In this embodiment, the water supply and drainage of the hand washing basin 13 are integrated with the water supply and drainage of the toilet 12, rather than being a separate system. For this reason, the water supply pipe 131 (see FIG. 2) connected to the hand washing basin 13 branches off from the stop valve 172. The drain pipe 132 connected to the hand washing basin 13 is connected to the drain pipe of the toilet 12, and is configured to flow into the drain pipe under the floor together with the drainage of the toilet 12. The water supply pipe 131 and drain pipe 132 connected to the hand washing basin 13 are piped along the first wall surface 14 and the second wall surface 15.

As shown in FIG. 4, the toilet cabinet 1 has a first cabinet 2 arranged along the first wall surface 14, a second cabinet 4 arranged along the second wall surface 15 and spaced apart from the first cabinet 2, a third cabinet 8 arranged along the second wall surface 15 adjacent to the second cabinet 4, and a connection portion 6 arranged along the corner portion 16 (see FIG. 1-FIG. 3) between the first wall surface 14 and the second wall surface 15, connecting the first cabinet 2 and the second cabinet 4.

The first cabinet 2 has a rectangular shape long in the left-right direction in a plan view, with its left end spaced apart from the second wall surface 15 (see FIG. 1). The second cabinet 4 has a rectangular shape long in the front-to-back direction in a plan view, with its rear end spaced apart from the first wall surface 14 (see FIG. 1). The second cabinet 4 is provided behind the hand-washing basin 13. The front edge of the second cabinet 4 abuts against the hand-washing basin 13.

The left end of the first cabinet 2 is located to the right of the right end of the second cabinet 4 (surface 431 of the second fascia 43). In other words, the distance between the left end of the first cabinet 2 and the second wall surface 15 is set to be larger than the left-right dimension of the second cabinet 4.

The rear end of the second cabinet 4 is located forward of the front end of the first cabinet 2 (surface 231 of the first fascia 23). In other words, the distance between the rear end of the second cabinet 4 and the first wall surface 14 is set to be greater than the dimension of the first cabinet 2 in the front-to-rear direction. The connection part 6 is provided between the left end of the first cabinet 2 and the rear end of the second cabinet 4.

In this embodiment, the first cabinet 2 and the second cabinet 4 are formed to have approximately the same height, and are provided at the same height so that their lower ends are located approximately 200 mm above the floor and their upper ends are located approximately 800 mm above the floor.

The first cabinet 2 is provided behind the toilet bowl 12 (see FIG. 1). The first cabinet 2 has a first cover part 21 that closes the space between the toilet bowl 12 and the first wall surface 14, and a first fixed frame part 22 that is fixed to the first wall surface 14 and to which the first cover part 21 can be attached and detached.

As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the first cover portion 21 has a first curtain board 23 attached opposite the first wall surface 14, a first top board 24 connected to the first curtain board 23, a first curtain board engaging portion 25 (see Figure 6) attached to the first curtain board 23 and engaged with the first fixed frame portion 22, and a first top board engaging portion 26 (see Figure 6) provided on the first top board 24 and engaged with the first fixed frame portion 22.

The first fascia 23 is formed in a rectangular flat plate shape. The first fascia 23 is attached with its plate surface spaced apart from the first wall surface 14 along the vertical direction. The first fascia 23 is installed at the rear of the toilet 12 with its plate surface facing the front-to-rear direction. The front surface of the first fascia 23 in the above-mentioned position is referred to as the front surface 231, and the rear surface is referred to as the back surface 232.

The first fascia 23 has a cutout 233 that opens downward in the middle of the left-right direction on the lower side. When the first fascia 23 is installed behind the toilet 12, a water supply pipe and a drain pipe that are connected to the toilet 12 are installed in the cutout 233.

The first top plate 24 is formed in a flat plate shape with its plate surface facing the up-down direction and is connected to the vicinity of the upper edge of the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23 so as to protrude rearward. In this embodiment, the first top plate 24 and the first curtain board 23 are fixed together with an L-shaped metal fitting or the like.

As shown in FIG. 7, the front end surface 241 (the end surface on the toilet bowl 12 side) of the first top panel 24 is in full surface contact with the back surface 232 (side surface) of the upper side of the first fascia 23. The first fascia 23 is positioned such that the upper end surface 234 (upper end portion) is adjacent to the upper surface 242 of the first top panel 24 in a plan view. In other words, the first fascia 23 is positioned such that the first top panel 24 is not visible when viewed from the front-to-rear direction (when viewed from the normal direction of the panel surface). This makes it easier to clean the first fascia 23 by wiping it down or other cleaning operations without it getting caught on the first top panel 24.

The upper surface 242 of the first top panel 24 is disposed slightly lower (e.g., 1 to 7 mm lower) than the upper end surface 234 of the first curtain board 23. The first curtain board 23 is disposed so that the height of the upper end surface 234 is higher than the height of the upper surface 242 of the first top panel 24. For this reason, the first cover part 21 is formed with a step 212 between the rear surface 232 of the first curtain board 23 and the upper surface 242 of the first top panel 24. The formation of the step 212 makes it easier to place a plate-shaped object such as a photo frame on the upper surface 242 of the first top panel 24. When the plate-shaped object is placed on the upper surface 242 of the first top panel 24, the plate-shaped object can be stabilized by leaning the plate-shaped object against the first wall surface 14 and hooking the lower end of the plate-shaped object on the step 212.

As shown in Figures 6 and 8, the first curtain board engaging portion 25 is formed by using a first metal fitting 71 made of processed steel plate, and the first metal fitting 71 is fixed to the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23. The first metal fitting 71 is configured to be elastically deformable.

As shown in FIG. 8, the first metal fitting 71 has a fixed plate portion 711 fixed along the back surface 232 of the first fascia 23, a protruding plate portion 712 protruding rearward from the lower edge of the fixed plate portion 711, a vertical plate portion 713 extending downward from the rear edge of the protruding plate portion 712, a first inclined plate portion 714 extending gradually forward from the vertical plate portion 713 in a downward direction, and a second inclined plate portion 715 extending gradually rearward from the lower edge of the first inclined plate portion 714 in a further downward direction.

The fixed plate portion 711 is fixed to the first curtain board 23 with a fastener such as a screw. The vertical plate portion 713 is provided parallel to the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23. In this embodiment, the first curtain board engaging portion 25 is provided on both the left and right sides of the cutout portion 233.

When the first metal fitting 71 is fixed to the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23, the vertical plate portion 713, the first inclined plate portion 714 and the second inclined plate portion 715 are each separated from the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23, and a gap (hereinafter referred to as the first engagement gap 716) is formed between the vertical plate portion 713, the first inclined plate portion 714 and the second inclined plate portion 715 and the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23 below the protruding plate portion 712.
A corner 718 is formed at the connection portion between the first inclined plate portion 714 and the second inclined plate portion 715. This corner portion 718 protrudes toward the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23. The distance between the corner portion 718 and the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23 is set smaller than the distance between the vertical plate portion 713 and the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23. The distance between the corner portion 718 and the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23 is set slightly smaller than the thickness dimension of the first plate portion 721 of the second metal fitting 72 of the first curtain board locking portion 35.

As shown in Figures 6 and 8, the first tabletop engaging portion 26 is constructed by using a second metal fitting 72 made of processed steel plate, and the second metal fitting 72 is fixed to the underside of the first tabletop 24. The second metal fitting 72 is formed in an L-shape, and has a first plate portion 721 that forms one side of the L-shape, and a second plate portion 722 that forms the other side. The first plate portion 721 and the second plate portion 722 are connected so as to form a right angle.

In the first tabletop engaging portion 26, the first plate portion 721 is fixed along the underside of the first tabletop 24, and the second plate portion 722 protrudes downward from the rear edge of the fixed plate portion 711. The first plate portion 721 is fixed to the first tabletop 24 with a fastener such as a screw. In this embodiment, the first tabletop engaging portion 26 is provided in two locations spaced apart in the left-right direction of the first tabletop 24.

As shown in FIG. 9, the first fixed frame portion 22 has an upper fixed plate portion 31 and a lower fixed plate portion 32 that are fixed to the first wall surface 14 with a gap therebetween in the vertical direction, a pair of protruding plate portions 33 that are arranged with a gap therebetween in the horizontal direction and are fixed to the upper fixed plate portion 31 and the lower fixed plate portion 32 so as to protrude forward from the upper fixed plate portion 31 and the lower fixed plate portion 32, respectively, a connecting plate portion 34 that connects the pair of protruding plate portions 33, a first curtain board locking portion 35 that is fixed to each of the pair of connecting plate portions 34 and locks the first curtain board locking portion 25, and a first tabletop locking portion 36 that is fixed to the upper fixed plate portion 31 and locks the first tabletop locking portion 26.

The upper fixing plate 31 is formed as a long, flat plate with a rectangular surface. The upper fixing plate 31 extends in the left-right direction and is fixed to the first wall 14 with its surface facing the front-to-rear direction. The lower fixing plate 32 is formed as a long, flat plate with a rectangular surface. The lower fixing plate 32 is formed to have a shorter length than the upper fixing plate 31, and is fixed to the first wall 14 with its surface extending in the left-right direction and facing the front-to-rear direction.

The upper fixing plate 31 and the lower fixing plate 32 are fixed to the first wall 14 with fasteners such as screws. The left end face 31a of the upper fixing plate 31 is located to the left of the left end face 32a of the lower fixing plate 32. The right end face 31b of the upper fixing plate 31 is located to the right of the right end face 32b of the lower fixing plate 32. If a stopcock or an outlet is provided on the first wall 14, the upper fixing plate 31 and the lower fixing plate 32 are installed so as to avoid the stopcock or the outlet.

The pair of protruding plate parts 33 are formed in the same long flat plate shape. The pair of protruding plate parts 33 extend in the vertical direction and are fixed to the upper fixed plate part 31 and the lower fixed plate part 32 with the plate surface facing the left and right direction. The pair of protruding plate parts 33 have a notch part 331 formed in the middle part in the vertical direction that opens to the rear side. The notch part 331 is configured so that a water supply pipe, a drain pipe, electrical wiring, etc. can be installed.

The protruding plate portion 33 is formed so that its vertical dimension (length dimension) is the same as the dimension from the upper end surface 31c of the upper fixing plate portion 31 to the lower end surface 32c of the lower fixing plate portion 32, and is fixed to the upper fixing plate portion 31 and the lower fixing plate portion 32 so that the upper end surface 33a is at the same height as the upper end surface 31c of the upper fixing plate portion 31, and the lower end surface 33b is at the same height as the lower end surface 32c of the lower fixing plate portion 32.

The left protruding plate 33 of the pair of protruding plate parts 33 has an upper portion of the notch 331 fixed from the front side near the left end of the front surface 31d of the upper fixing plate part 31, and a lower portion of the notch 311 fixed from the left side to the left end surface 32a of the lower fixing plate part 32. The right protruding plate 33 of the pair of protruding plate parts 33 has an upper portion of the notch 331 fixed from the front side to the middle part in the left-right direction of the front surface 31d of the upper fixing plate part 31, and a lower portion of the notch 311 fixed from the right side to the right end surface 32b of the lower fixing plate part 32.

The connecting plate portion 34 is formed in a long, flat plate shape. The connecting plate portion 34 extends in the left-right direction and is connected to the vertical middle portion of each of the pair of protruding plate portions 33 with the plate surface facing the front-rear direction. The connecting plate portion 34 is provided so that its front surface is approximately flush with the front end surface of each of the pair of protruding plate portions 33. The connecting plate portion 34 is provided in the height range in which the cutout portions 331 of each of the pair of protruding plate portions 33 are formed.

The first fixed frame portion 22 can prevent the water supply pipe, drain pipe, electrical wiring, etc. arranged in the cutout portion 331 from moving forward away from the first wall surface 14 by using a pair of protruding plate portions 33 and connecting plate portions 34.

The first curtain board locking portion 35 uses the same second metal fitting 72 as the first tabletop locked portion 26, and is configured by fixing the second metal fitting 72 to the opposing side surfaces of the pair of protruding plate portions 33. In the first curtain board locking portion 35, the second metal fitting 72 is fixed to the upper fixed plate portion 31 in a different orientation than that used in the first tabletop locked portion 26.

As shown in Figures 9 and 10, the second metal fitting 72 of the first fascia engagement portion 35 is oriented such that the plate surface of the second plate portion 722 faces the left-right direction and the plate surface of the first plate portion 721 faces the front-rear direction, the second plate portion 722 is fixed to the side surface of the protruding plate portion 33, and the first plate portion 721 protrudes from the front edge of the second plate portion 722 toward the opposing protruding plate portion 33. The second plate portion 722 is fixed to the protruding plate portion 33 with a fastener such as a screw. The first plate portion 721 is located slightly forward of the front end surface of the protruding plate portion 33.

As shown in FIG. 9, the first top panel engaging portion 36 is configured by using a first metal fitting 71, which is the same as the metal fitting used in the first curtain board engaged portion 25, and is fixed to the front surface of the upper fixed plate portion 31. Two first top panel engaging portions 36 are provided, spaced apart in the left-right direction.

As shown in FIG. 11, in the first top panel engaging portion 36, the first metal fitting 71 is fixed to the upper fixed plate portion 31 in an orientation different from that used in the first curtain board engaged portion 25. The first metal fitting 71 of the first top panel engaging portion 36 has the fixed plate portion 711 fixed along the front surface of the upper fixed plate portion 31. The first metal fitting 71 has a protruding plate portion 712 that protrudes forward from the upper edge of the fixed plate portion 711.

The first metal fitting 71 is oriented such that the vertical plate portion 713 extends upward from the front edge of the protruding plate portion 712, the first inclined plate portion 714 extends gradually rearward from the vertical plate portion 713 in the upward direction, and the second inclined plate portion 715 extends gradually forward from the upper edge of the first inclined plate portion 714 in the further upward direction. In the first top plate engaging portion 36 as well, the fixing plate portion 711 is fixed to the upper fixing plate portion 31 with a fixing device such as a screw.

When the first metal fitting 71 is fixed to the front surface 31d of the upper fixing plate portion 31, the vertical plate portion 713, the first inclined plate portion 714 and the second inclined plate portion 715 are each separated from the front surface of the upper fixing plate portion 31, and a gap (hereinafter referred to as the second engagement gap 717) is formed between the vertical plate portion 713, the first inclined plate portion 714 and the second inclined plate portion 715 and the front surface 31d of the upper fixing plate portion 31 below the protruding plate portion 712.

The distance between the corner 718 of the first inclined plate portion 714 and the second inclined plate portion 715 and the front surface 31d of the upper fixing plate portion 31 is set smaller than the distance between the vertical plate portion 713 and the front surface 31d of the upper fixing plate portion 31. The distance between the corner 718 and the front surface 31d of the upper fixing plate portion 31 is set slightly smaller than the thickness dimension of the second plate portion 722 of the second metal fitting 72 of the first top plate engaging portion 26.

The first cover portion 21 is configured to be attached to the first fixed frame portion 22 from above. The first cover portion 21 is lowered from above the first fixed frame portion 22, and the first curtain board 23 is positioned in front of the protruding plate portion 33 of the first fixed frame portion 22, and positioned above the protruding plate portion 33 and upper fixed plate portion 31 of the first fixed frame portion 22. At this time, as shown in FIG. 12, the first plate portion 721 of the first curtain board locking portion 35 is inserted from below into the first locking cavity 716 of the first curtain board locked portion 25, and the second plate portion 722 of the first top board locked portion 26 is inserted from above into the second locking cavity 717 of the first top board locking portion 36.

As described above, the distance between the corner 718 of the first metal fitting 71 of the first curtain board engaged portion 25 and the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23 is set to be slightly smaller than the thickness dimension of the first plate portion 721 of the second metal fitting 72 of the first curtain board engaging portion 35. Therefore, when the first plate portion 721 is inserted into the first engaging cavity 716, the first plate portion 721 comes into contact with the corner portion 718, elastically deforming the first metal fitting 71 so as to widen the distance between the corner portion 718 and the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23. Then, the restoring force of the first metal fitting 71 causes the corner portion 718 to press the first plate portion 721 against the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23, and the first plate portion 721 is sandwiched between the first metal fitting 71 and the back surface 232 of the first curtain board 23.

As described above, the distance between the corner 718 of the first metal fitting 71 of the first tabletop engaging portion 36 and the front surface 31d of the upper fixed plate portion 31 is set to be slightly smaller than the thickness dimension of the second plate portion 722 of the second metal fitting 72 of the first tabletop engaged portion 26. Therefore, when the second plate portion 722 is inserted into the second engaging space 717, the second plate portion 722 comes into contact with the corner portion 718, elastically deforming the first metal fitting 71 so as to widen the distance between the corner portion 718 and the front surface 31d of the upper fixed plate portion 31. Then, the corner portion 718 presses the second plate portion 722 against the front surface 31d of the upper fixed plate portion 31 due to the restoring force of the first metal fitting 71, and the second plate portion 722 is sandwiched between the first metal fitting 71 and the front surface 31d of the upper fixed plate portion 31.

As a result, the first curtain board engaging portion 25 is engaged with the first curtain board engaging portion 35, and the first top board engaging portion 26 is engaged with the first top board engaging portion 36. Then, the first cover portion 21 is engaged with the first wall surface 14 via the first fixing frame portion 22.

To remove the first cover part 21 from the first fixed frame part 22, the first cover part 21 is pulled upward to remove the first plate part 721 of the first panel locking part 35 from the first locking cavity 716 of the first panel locking part 25, and the second plate part 722 of the first panel locking part 26 from the second locking cavity 717 of the first panel locking part 36. This removes the first cover part 21 from the first fixed frame part 22 and from the first wall surface 14.

With the above configuration, a storage space 22S is formed between the first curtain board 23 of the first cabinet 2 and the first wall surface 14, and can store items. The storage space 22S stores the water supply pipe 131, the drain pipe 132, the wiring of the faucet 13A of the hand washing basin 13 described later, the wiring of the light source E, etc. The storage space 22S may store cleaning tools and a trash can (sanitary box) placed on the floor surface G. The storage space 22S can also accommodate the hands of a worker when performing maintenance on the water supply pipe 131, the drain pipe 132, the wiring of the faucet 13A of the hand washing basin 13 described later, the wiring of the light source E, etc. The first curtain board 23 can conceal the water supply pipe 131, the drain pipe 132, the wiring of the faucet 13A of the hand washing basin 13 described later, the wiring of the light source E, etc. in the storage space 22S. If an outlet connected to the wiring in the storage space 22S is provided, the first curtain board 23 can also conceal the outlet. The first panel 23 can conceal some of the mounting holes that were originally there before the renovation, and if parts are left behind, the remaining parts.

In this embodiment, the lower side near the left-right edges of the first top plate 24 of the first cabinet 2 is an empty space. Therefore, when attaching or detaching the first cover part 21 to or from the first fixed frame part 22, the first cover part 21 can be moved up and down by grasping both left-right edges of the first top plate 24.

As shown in FIG. 4, the second cabinet 4 is provided on the left side of the toilet bowl 12. The second cabinet 4 may also be provided on the right side of the toilet bowl 12. That is, the second cabinet 4 is provided on at least one side of the toilet bowl 12. The second cabinet 4 has a second cover portion 41 that closes the space between the toilet bowl 12 (see FIG. 1) and the second wall surface 15, and a second fixed frame portion 42 (main body portion: see FIG. 15) that is fixed to the second wall surface 15 and to which the second cover portion 41 can be attached and detached, as described below.

As shown in Figures 13 and 14, the second cover portion 41 has a second curtain board 43, a second top board 44 connected to the second curtain board 43, a second curtain board engaging portion 45 (see Figure 14) attached to the second curtain board 43 and engaged with the second fixed frame portion 42, a second top board engaging portion 46 (see Figure 14) provided on the second top board 44 and engaged with the second fixed frame portion 42, a reflector 47 provided below the second curtain board 43, and a light source E provided on the reflector 47.

The second curtain board 43, second top board 44, second curtain board engaged portion 45, and second top board engaged portion 46 of the second cover part 41 are basically similar in shape to the first curtain board 23, first top board 24, first curtain board engaged portion 25, and first top board engaged portion 26 of the first cover part 21, except for their installation positions and sizes. In the following explanation of the second cover part 41, the differences from the first cover part 21 will be explained.

The second fascia 43 is formed in a flat plate shape and is installed on the left side of the toilet bowl 12 with the plate surface facing left and right. In the above-mentioned position of the second fascia 43, the surface facing the right side is the front surface 431, and the surface facing the left side is the back surface 432. The second fascia 43 has an opening 433 formed in the front part of the upper side that penetrates the plate surface. The opening 433 is configured to allow a toilet paper holder H (paper roll holder) to be installed.

The second fascia 43 is fixed to the second wall surface 15 via the second fixing frame part 42 (see FIG. 15). When fixing the second fascia 43, the opening 433 can be used to access the second fixing frame part 42 for the fixing work. That is, the second fascia 43 is fixed to the second fixing frame part 42 by the third metal fitting 73 arranged in a position visible within the opening 433 when viewed from the front side of the second fascia 43. A worker can insert his/her hand through the opening 433 and fix the third metal fitting 73 to the second fixing frame part 42 with a screw or the like to fix the second fascia 43 to the second fixing frame part 42.

A rectangular hole 435 is formed below the opening 433 in the second curtain board 43, penetrating the board surface. A sensor window Q that serves as the light receiving portion of a human presence sensor V (see FIG. 14) is attached to the hole 435. The human presence sensor V has a light receiving portion such as an infrared sensor. The human presence sensor V is a sensor that detects infrared rays emitted from the human body and causes a light source E, described below, to emit light.

The second top panel 44 is formed in a flat plate shape and is connected to the upper end of the second top panel 43 with the plate surface aligned along the horizontal plane. The second top panel 43 is positioned so that the upper end 434 is adjacent to the upper surface 442 of the second top panel 44. In other words, the second top panel 43 is positioned so that the second top panel 44 is not visible when viewed from the left-right direction (the normal direction of the plate surface). This makes it easier to clean the second top panel 43 by wiping it down or other cleaning operations without it getting caught on the second top panel 44.

The second curtain board 43 is positioned so that the height of the upper end 434 is higher than the height of the upper surface 442 of the second top board 44. For this reason, a step 412 is formed in the second cover part 41 by the back surface 432 of the second curtain board 43 and the upper surface 442 of the second top board 44. The formation of the step 412 makes it easier to place a plate-shaped object such as a smartphone, tablet terminal, or photo frame on the upper surface 442 of the second top board 44.

By forming the step 412, when the plate-shaped body is placed on the upper surface 442 of the second top plate 44, the plate-shaped body can be stabilized by leaning the plate-shaped body against the second wall surface 15 and hooking the lower end of the plate-shaped body onto the step 412. By forming the step 412, when a person stands up from the toilet 12 and places their hand on the second top plate 44, their fingers can be hooked, and the second top plate 44 can be used in place of a handrail.

The second curtain board engaged portion 45 is provided by attaching a first metal fitting 71 to each of two locations spaced apart in the front-to-rear direction on the lower side of the back surface 432 of the second curtain board 43, similar to the first curtain board engaged portion 25. A first engagement cavity 716 is formed below the protruding plate portion 712, between the vertical plate portion 713, the first inclined plate portion 714, and the second inclined plate portion 715 and the back surface 432 of the second curtain board 43.

The second tabletop engaging portion 46 is attached near the left edge of the underside of the second tabletop 44. The second tabletop engaging portion 46 is composed of a pair of second metal fittings 72 provided at two locations spaced apart in the front-to-rear direction, similar to the first tabletop engaging portion 26. A third metal fitting 73 is attached adjacent to the front of the front second metal fitting 72. The third metal fitting 73 is an L-shaped metal fitting. The third metal fitting 73 is a metal fitting for fixing the second fascia 43 to the second fixing frame portion 42.

The reflector 47 is provided on the back surface 432 of the second fascia 43. The reflector 47 is attached to the lower side of the back surface 432 of the second fascia 43 so as to fill the gap between the second fascia 43 and the wall. The reflector 47 is provided so as to protrude toward the back surface 432 of the second fascia 43. The reflective surface 47A on the lower surface of the reflector 47 is processed to be, for example, a white surface.

A light source E for illumination is attached to the reflective surface 47A side. The light source E is, for example, a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) emitters arranged in a horizontal row. The light source E is not limited to LEDs, and other light emitting sources such as organic EL (Electro Luminescence) may also be used. The light source E emits light when the human presence sensor detects a person.

Light source E may emit light in a single color, or may change the color of light emitted based on the operation of a switch or the like. Light source E may not only change its light emission intensity, but may also change its light emission pattern over time through a combination of light emission intensity, color, blinking, etc. Light source E is attached to reflector 47 via fixing member 48. Light source E is attached so that light-emitting surface E1 illuminates second wall surface 15.

When light source E emits light, the light emitted from light source E is reflected by reflecting surface 47A and is also emitted to second wall surface 15. The light reflected from reflecting surface 47A and the light irradiated to second wall surface 15 illuminate floor surface G. That is, the light emitted from light source E causes floor surface G and second wall surface 15 to emit light, and the light leaks out from the bottom of second fascia board 43 to provide indirect lighting that illuminates the feet.

As shown in FIG. 15, the second fixed frame portion 42 has an upper fixed plate portion 51 and a lower fixed plate portion 52 fixed to the second wall surface 15 with a gap between them in the vertical direction, a pair of protruding plate portions 53 fixed to the upper fixed plate portion 51 and the lower fixed plate portion 52 respectively while sandwiching the upper fixed plate portion 51 and the lower fixed plate portion 52 from the front-to-rear direction and protruding to the right of the upper fixed plate portion 51 and the lower fixed plate portion 52, a second curtain board locking portion 55 fixed to each of the pair of protruding plate portions 53 and locking the second curtain board locking portion 45, and a second top board locking portion 56 fixed to the upper fixed plate portion 51 and locking the second top board locking portion 46.

The upper fixed plate 51 is formed as a long, flat plate with a rectangular surface. As shown in FIG. 16, the upper fixed plate 51 extends in the front-to-rear direction and is fixed to the second wall 15 with its surface facing the left-to-right direction. A storage space S is formed surrounded by the second curtain board 43, the second top board 44, the reflector 47, and the second wall 15. The storage space S stores the wiring for the light source E. This prevents the wiring from being visible from the outside and prevents people from touching the wiring.

The lower fixing plate 52 is formed in the shape of a long, flat plate with a rectangular plate surface. The lower fixing plate 52 is formed to have the same length as the upper fixing plate 51. The lower fixing plate 52 is fixed to the second wall 15 with its plate surface extending in the front-to-rear direction and facing the left-to-right direction. The lower fixing plate 52 is disposed vertically below the upper fixing plate 51. The upper fixing plate 51 and the lower fixing plate 52 are fixed to the second wall 15 with fixings such as screws (not shown) via plastic plugs (not shown).

The pair of protruding plate parts 53 are formed in the same long flat plate shape. The pair of protruding plate parts 53 extend in the vertical direction and are fixed to the upper fixing plate part 51 and the lower fixing plate part 52 with the plate surface facing the front-rear direction. The pair of protruding plate parts 53 have cutout parts 531 formed therein, similar to the pair of protruding plate parts 33 of the first fixing frame part 22. The cutout parts 531 are configured so that water supply pipes, drainage pipes, electrical wiring, etc. can be installed.

The protruding plate portion 53 is formed so that its vertical dimension (length dimension) is the same as the dimension from the upper end surface 51a of the upper fixing plate portion 51 to the lower end surface 52a of the lower fixing plate portion 52, and is fixed to the upper fixing plate portion 51 and the lower fixing plate portion 52 so that the upper end surface 53a is at the same height as the upper end surface 51a of the upper fixing plate portion 51, and the lower end surface 53b is at the same height as the lower end surface 52a of the lower fixing plate portion 52. Of the pair of protruding plate portions 53, the front protruding plate portion 53 is fixed to the front end surfaces 51b, 52b of the upper fixing plate portion 51 and the lower fixing plate portion 52, and the rear protruding plate portion 53 is fixed to the rear end surfaces 51c, 52c of the upper fixing plate portion 51 and the lower fixing plate portion 52.

The second curtain board engaged portion 45 is provided by fixing a second metal fitting 72 to the opposing side surfaces of a pair of protruding plate portions 53 in the same manner as the first curtain board engaging portion 35. The second metal fitting 72 of the second curtain board engaged portion 45 is attached to the pair of protruding plate portions 53 of the second fixed frame portion 42 in the same manner as the second metal fitting 72 of the first curtain board engaging portion 35 is attached to the pair of protruding plate portions 33 of the first fixed frame portion 22.

The second tabletop engaging portion 46 is constructed by using a first metal fitting 71, which is the same as the metal fitting used in the first curtain board engaging portion 25, and is fixed to the right side surface of the upper fixed plate portion 31. The first metal fitting 71 of the second tabletop engaging portion 46 is attached to the upper fixed plate portion 51 of the second fixed frame portion 42 in the same manner as the first metal fitting 71 of the first tabletop engaging portion 36 is attached to the upper fixed plate portion 31 of the first fixed frame portion 22. A second engaging space 717 is formed below the protruding plate portion 712 between the vertical plate portion 713, the first inclined plate portion 714, and the second inclined plate portion 715 and the front surface of the upper fixed plate portion 31.

The second cover part 41 is configured to be detachable from the second fixed frame part 42 in the same way that the first cover part 21 is detachable from the first fixed frame part 22. With the above configuration, a storage space S is formed between the second cover part 41 of the second cabinet 4, the reflector 47, and the second wall surface 15, and items such as cleaning tools such as thin brushes can be stored. The storage space S can store the water supply pipe 131, the drain pipe 132, the wiring of the faucet 13A of the hand washing basin 13 described later, the wiring of the light source E, etc. The storage space S can also accommodate the hands of a worker when performing maintenance on the water supply pipe 131, the drain pipe 132, the wiring of the faucet 13A of the hand washing basin 13 described later, the wiring of the light source E, etc. The second curtain board 43 conceals the water supply pipe 131, the drain pipe 132, the wiring of the faucet 13A of the hand washing basin 13 described later, the wiring of the light source E, etc. in the storage space S. The third cabinet 8 is a storage device in which the hand-washing basin 13 is provided. The third cabinet 8 supports the hand-washing basin 13 and stores piping such as the water supply pipe and drain pipe of the hand-washing basin 13 (see FIG. 1). The third cabinet 8 has the hand-washing basin 13, a third fascia board 9 arranged below the hand-washing basin 13, and a third fixed frame part 70 that supports the hand-washing basin 13 and the third fascia board 9. The third cabinet 8 is provided continuously to the front side of the second cabinet 4. The combination of the second cabinet 4 and the third cabinet 8 is also referred to as the side cabinet.

As shown in Figures 17 to 22, the third fixed frame part 70 is formed in a rectangular frame body that is attached to the second wall surface 15. The third fixed frame part 70 has a pair of vertical plates 75, 76, a connecting plate 77 that connects the lower ends of the pair of vertical plates 75, 76, and a fixed base 74 that connects the upper ends of the pair of vertical plates 75, 76. The third fixed frame part 70 is attached to the second wall surface 15 so that the vertical plate 75 is adjacent to the protruding plate part 53 on the front side of the second fixed frame part 42. Inside the third fixed frame part 70, a storage space 70S for storing objects is formed.

The pair of vertical plates 75, 76 are formed in a rectangular plate shape with the vertical direction being longer. The pair of vertical plates 75, 76 form both side surfaces of the third cabinet 8. The pair of vertical plates 75, 76 are formed so that the longitudinal direction is shorter than the second fixed frame part 42 in order to place the hand washing basin 13. The vertical plate 75 is formed with a rectangular cutout portion 75K for passing the piping and wiring of the hand washing basin 13. The vertical plate 75 is arranged so that the outer surface 75F contacts the protruding plate part 53 arranged on the third cabinet 8 side of the second fixed frame part 42. The cutout portion 75K communicates with the cutout portion 531 of the protruding plate part 53 arranged on the third cabinet 8 side of the second fixed frame part 42. When the vertical plate 76 is attached to the second wall surface 15, the outer surface 76F is exposed to the outside and is configured as a cover that conceals the inside of the third fixed frame part 70.

Fixing members 75S, 76S for mounting to the second wall surface 15 are fixed below the inner surfaces 75A, 76A of the pair of vertical plates 75, 76 facing each other. The fixing members 75S, 76S are formed, for example, in an L-shape when viewed from above. A connecting plate 77 is fixed to the lower ends of the inner surfaces 75A, 76A of the pair of vertical plates 75, 76 facing each other. The connecting plate 77 is formed in a rectangular plate shape. The short ends 77A, 77B of the connecting plate 77 are fixed to the lower ends 75B, 76B of the inner surfaces 75A, 76A of the pair of vertical plates 75, 76 facing each other.

The connecting plate 77 has ends 77A, 77B fixed by tapping screws (not shown) or the like that pass through the lower ends of the pair of vertical plates 75, 76. The connecting plate 77 may be fixed to the pair of vertical plates 75, 76 by L-shaped metal fittings. The connecting plate 77 is fixed so that the height of the lower surface 77C matches the height of the lower ends of the pair of vertical plates 75, 76. The fixing base 74 is fixed to the upper ends 75C, 76C of the opposing inner surfaces 75A, 76A of the pair of vertical plates 75, 76.

The fixed base 74 is a member formed by processing a metal plate to support the hand washing basin 13. The fixed base 74 is formed to be stronger than the other components constituting the third fixed frame section 70. The fixed base 74 is formed by combining multiple plate-shaped bodies of different orientations. The fixed base 74 may be formed from multiple components. The fixed base 74 may be formed from resin, FRP, CFRP, etc. in addition to metal as long as the required strength can be ensured, and may be formed by combining multiple components made of these materials or metals in a composite manner.

The fixed base 74 has a support plate 74A formed in a rectangular plate shape. The long sides of the support plate 74A are arranged along the second wall surface 15. The support plate 74A has a pair of fixing holes H1 for fixing the hand washing basin 13. The support plate 74A also has a hole H2 for the water supply pipe of the faucet 13A and a hole H3 for the drain pipe.

The support plate 74A is formed so that its width in the short direction protrudes further toward the toilet space 11 than the surface 91 of the third fascia 9. Because the support plate 74A is formed in this shape, the strength of the fixed base 74 is improved. Even though the support plate 74A is formed in this shape, it is covered by the hand-washing basin 13, so it is difficult to see from the outside.

A pair of fixing pieces 74B, 74C are provided on both short sides of the support plate 74A and hang down. The fixing pieces 74B, 74C are formed in a rectangular plate shape. The fixing piece 74B abuts against the inner surface 75A of the vertical plate 75 and is fixed to the vertical plate 75 by a screw T. The fixing piece 74C abuts against the inner surface 76A of the vertical plate 76 and is fixed to the vertical plate 76 by a screw T. This improves ease of installation.

A fixing piece 74D is provided hanging down on one of the two longitudinal sides of the support plate 74A facing the second wall surface 15. The fixing piece 74D is formed in a rectangular plate shape. The fixing piece 74D is fixed to the second wall surface 15 by a screw T via a plastic plug. The fixing base 74 is fixed to the vertical plates 75, 76 so that the height of the support plate 74A is higher than the upper ends 75D, 76D of the pair of vertical plates 75, 76. The third fixing frame part 70 is constituted by the above configuration.

The third fixed frame part 70 is fixed so that the height of the lower surface 77C of the connecting plate 77 matches the height of the lower end surface 53b of the protruding plate part 53 of the second fixed frame part 42. The third fascia 9 is attached to the third fixed frame part 70. The third fascia 9 is formed in a rectangular plate shape and is formed so that it is the same height as the upper ends 75D, 76D of the pair of vertical plates 75, 76.

A pair of hinges Y are attached along the long side of the inner surface 76A of the vertical plate 76 facing the toilet bowl 12. A push-type magnetic catch X is attached to the long side of the inner surface 75A of the vertical plate 75 facing the toilet bowl 12. The third fascia 9 is attached to the third fixed frame part 70 via the hinges Y so that it can be opened and closed freely. The third fixed frame part 70 is constituted by the above configuration. When the third fixed frame part 70 is attached to the second wall surface 15, a storage part 9A is formed at the top of the third fascia 9, which is a space that stores the hand-washing basin 13.

The storage section 9A is a space formed in the side cabinet composed of the second cabinet 4 and the third cabinet 8. The storage section 9A is a space formed by the upper surface 442 of the second top plate 44, the protruding plate portion 53 on the third cabinet 8 side of the second fixed frame portion 42, and the support plate 74A. That is, the storage section 9A is recessed downward from the upper surface 442 (upper portion) of the second top plate 44, and a lower portion is formed by the support plate 74A. The bottom portion is continuous to the position of the outer surface 76F of the vertical plate 76.

The hand washing basin 13 is a container that receives water supplied from the faucet 13A and drains it. The hand washing basin 13 is formed in a rectangular shape when viewed from the left-right direction (normal direction of the second wall surface 15). The hand washing basin 13 has a rectangular front wall 13K and a pair of side walls 13B, 13C formed continuously at both ends of the front wall. The hand washing basin 13 is formed so that the length along the left-right direction of the upper end 13G when viewed from the front-back direction (direction along the second wall surface 15) is longer than the length along the left-right direction of the bottom surface 13F (installation surface). The hand washing basin 13 is trapezoidal when viewed from the front-back direction, and the upper base is formed longer than the lower base. Therefore, the front wall 13K of the hand washing basin 13 is formed with a negative gradient when viewed from the left-right direction (normal direction of the second wall surface 15).

The hand-washing basin 13 is formed so that the lower ends 13B1, 13C1 of the side walls 13B, 13C protrude downward from the bottom surface 13F. Similarly, the hand-washing basin 13 is formed so that the lower end 13K1 of the front wall 13K protrudes downward. The lower ends 13B1, 13C1 of the side walls 13B, 13C and the lower end 13K1 of the front wall 13K are formed to be at the same height. In other words, the bottom surface 13F of the hand-washing basin 13 has a recess 13R that is recessed above the lower ends 13B1, 13C1, 13K1.

The hand-washing basin 13 is formed so that the lower end 13K1 of the front wall 13K protrudes from the surface 91 of the third fascia 9. The hand-washing basin 13 is fixed to the fixed base 74 so that there is a gap between the upper end 92 of the third fascia 9 and the upper end 76D of the vertical board 76. This causes water droplets that run downward from the side wall 13C and front wall 13K of the hand-washing basin 13 to remain on the lower end 13C1, 13K1, preventing the water droplets from running to the third fascia 9 and the vertical board 76.

A pair of fixing screws 13N protrude downward from the bottom surface 13F of the hand washing basin 13. The hand washing basin 13 is placed in the storage section 9A. When the hand washing basin 13 is placed on the support plate 74A, the pair of fixing screws 13N are inserted into the pair of fixing holes H1. After the hand washing basin 13 is placed on the support plate 74A, the nut N threaded onto the fixing screws 13N is tightened to fix the hand washing basin 13 to the support plate 74A.

A gasket (not shown) made of an elastic material is sandwiched between the side wall 13B and the protruding plate portion 53 on the third cabinet 8 side of the second fixing frame portion 42. A gasket (not shown) made of an elastic material is sandwiched between the side wall 13B and the end face on the third cabinet 8 side of the top plate 44 of the second fixing frame portion 42. A gasket (not shown) made of an elastic material is sandwiched between the back surface 13H of the hand washing basin 13 and the second wall surface 15. When the hand washing basin 13 is installed, the gasket is crushed and tightly adheres, filling the gap and preventing water from entering the inside of the third cabinet 8.

When the hand-washing basin 13 is fixed to the fixed base 74 in the storage section 9A, the height of the lower ends 13B1, 13C1 of the side walls 13B, 13C is higher than the height of the upper surface 442 of the second top plate 44. As a result, when an object is placed on the second top plate 44, the object is caught on the side wall 13B of the hand-washing basin 13, making it less likely to fall into the hand-washing basin 13.

The fixed base 74 allows the weight of the hand-washing basin 13 to be released to the second wall surface 15 by the fixed piece 74D, and also to be released to the second wall surface 15 via the third fixed frame part 70 by the fixed pieces 74B and 74D. When the hand-washing basin 13 is fixed to the fixed base 74, the front side wall 13C (opposite the second cabinet 4) and the front wall 13K are fully exposed. This allows the third cabinet 8 to create a visual effect of a flat feeling with the vertical board 76, improving the design.

When the hand-washing basin 13 is fixed to the fixed base 74, the fixed base 74 is arranged so that it is hidden in the space 8S in the third cabinet 8 when the third curtain board 9 is closed and is not exposed to the outside. When the hand-washing basin 13 is fixed to the fixed base 74, even if the third curtain board 9 is opened, the support plate 74A of the fixed base 74 fits into a recess provided in the bottom surface 13F of the hand-washing basin 13, and is hidden by the front wall 13K, the side wall 13B, and the side wall 13C, making it difficult to see from the outside. The support plate 74A does not necessarily fit entirely in the recess 13R, as long as at least a part of it fits in the recess 13R. For example, the support plate 74A may not be flat, and at least a part of the support plate 74A may be formed to support the bottom surface 13. The support plate 74A may be composed of multiple parts.

Since the support plate 74A of the fixed base 74 is formed from a metal plate, the mounting width in the height direction of the hand-washing basin 13 can be reduced, improving the design freedom of the mounting of the hand-washing basin 13. Since the support plate 74A of the fixed base 74 is formed from a metal plate, the vertical width of the recess 13R formed in the bottom surface 13F of the hand-washing basin 13 can be made small. Since the support plate 74A of the fixed base 74 is hidden by the recess 13R of the hand-washing basin 13 even when the third fascia 9 is opened or closed, the design is improved.

With the above configuration, a storage space 70S is formed between the third panel 9 of the third cabinet 8 and the second wall surface 15, and items such as cleaning tools such as thin brushes can be stored. The storage space 70S can store the wiring of the water supply pipe 131, the drain pipe 132, and the faucet 13A of the hand washing basin 13. The storage space 70S can also accommodate the hands of a worker when performing maintenance on the wiring of the water supply pipe 131, the drain pipe 132, and the faucet 13A of the hand washing basin 13. The third panel 9 conceals the wiring of the water supply pipe 131, the drain pipe 132, and the faucet 13A of the hand washing basin 13, the wiring of the light source E, etc. in the storage space 70S. If an outlet is provided that is connected to the wiring in the storage space 70S, the third panel 9 can also conceal the outlet. The third panel 9 can also conceal some of the mounting holes that were originally installed before the renovation, and if parts are left behind, the remaining parts.

When fixed to the fixed base 74, the hand washing basin 13 is formed so that it protrudes further into the toilet space 11 than the toilet paper holder H when viewed from the front-to-rear direction (see Figure 2). This makes it difficult for the toilet paper holder H to be seen from the direction in which a person faces the toilet bowl, improving the design.

Next, we will explain the connection part 6.

The connection portion 6 is a storage device that is installed between the first cabinet and the second cabinet at the corner portion 16 of the toilet space 11.

23 and 24, the connection portion 6 has a fourth fixed frame portion 60 installed between the first fixed frame portion 22 and the second fixed frame portion 42, a panel P connecting the first fascia board 23 and the second fascia board 43, and a cover 65 placed on the upper surface. The fourth fixed frame portion 60 has a vertical plate 61 fixed to the first wall surface 14, and shelf plates 62, 63 fixed to the vertical plate 61. The vertical plate 61 is formed in a rectangular plate shape with the elongated vertical direction. The vertical plate 61 is fixed so that the upper end 61A is at the same height as the upper end portion 234 of the first fascia board 23 and the upper end portion 434 of the second fascia board 43.

A pair of shelves 62, 63 are attached in the horizontal direction perpendicular to the vertical plate 61. The pair of shelves 62, 63 are arranged vertically spaced apart. A rectangular cover 65 is attached to the upper shelf 62 for positioning the first top plate 24. The pair of shelves 62, 63 are formed in a trapezoidal plate shape, and have tapered portions 62A, 63A that connect to one end surface 62B, 63B on the upper base side. One or more cabinets provided on a wall of the toilet space;
A front panel provided to cover the cabinet;
A top plate that closes an opening between an upper portion of the apron and the wall surface,
