Description

The present invention relates to a toilet room in which multiple booths are located.

A sanitary building has been proposed that includes an opening penetrating a wall and booths lined up along the wall, each with a toilet inside (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The washbasin is located at the center of the sanitary building when viewed from above. After entering the toilet room through the opening, a user can move around the washbasin using the passageway to enter an empty booth.

A user who enters through the opening moves around the sink as desired, so the user's movement path from the opening to the booth is not fixed. For example, a user who enters the room moves to the nearest vacant booth, but if another user is moving toward the same vacant booth, the user who arrives there first will end up using the booth, which can lead to competition between users.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above problems, and aims to provide a means of regulating the movement of users of the restroom until they reach the booth while maintaining convenience.

(1) The toilet room according to claim 1 comprises a floor, a plurality of walls rising from the floor to partition the interior of the room, a first opening and a second opening penetrating the walls, a plurality of booths arranged along the walls where the first opening and the second opening are not located and having entrances leading to the interior space, toilets located in the interior spaces of the plurality of booths, and a plurality of first partition plates located between the first opening, the second opening and the entrances of the booths and extending along the plurality of booths, the plurality of first partition plates being a toilet room that partitions a passageway along the entrances of the plurality of booths.

Since multiple users who enter the room through the first opening move along the passageway between the entrances and exits of the multiple booths, the movement of users from the first opening to an available booth is regulated. Users who entered the room first can reach an available booth in order. This makes it possible to maintain order among users from the first opening to the booths. Users who leave the booths leave the toilet room through the second opening. Since the flow of users is separated by the first opening and the second opening, the movement of users entering and exiting the toilet room is smoother.

(2) The toilet room according to claim 2 further includes a plurality of first washbasins located in a partial area of the floor between the first opening, the second opening, and the plurality of first partition plates, and the first partition plate has a third opening that connects the passage to the partial area, as described in claim 1.

According to the above configuration, a user who leaves the booth and enters the hallway can move through the third opening in the first partition to the area where the first washbasin is located.

(3) The toilet room according to claim 3 is the toilet room according to claim 1 or 2, in which the interior of the room partitioned by the plurality of walls has a rectangular external shape in a plan view, and the plurality of booths are arranged in at least a first booth row along a first direction and a second booth row along a second direction intersecting the first direction.

The above configuration allows the booths to be efficiently arranged in the toilet room.

(4) The toilet room according to claim 4 is the toilet room according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising a plurality of second washbasins arranged along the wall where the booth is not located, and a second partition plate located between the first opening, the second opening, and the second washbasins.

According to the above configuration, when a user who wishes to use the second washbasin for a longer period of time than hand washing, for example to touch up makeup, uses the second washbasin, the area where the first washbasin is located is prevented from becoming crowded.

(5) The toilet room according to claim 5 is the toilet room according to claim 1 or 2, in which each of the plurality of booths further has an indicator that indicates the open/closed state of the entrance/exit.

The above configuration makes it easy to check the availability of booths.

(6) The toilet room according to claim 6 is the toilet room according to claim 5, in which the display unit is located higher than the upper end of the first partition plate.

With the above configuration, the use status of the booth can be easily confirmed through the first opening.

(7) According to the toilet room of claim 8, the first partition plate of the toilet room of claim 1 or 2 includes at least a light-transmitting material.

The above configuration improves visibility of the passageway.

The toilet room of the present invention can regulate the movement of users who use the toilet room until they reach the booth.

Below, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings as appropriate. Note that the embodiment described below is merely one example of how the present invention is realized, and it goes without saying that the embodiment can be modified as appropriate without changing the gist of the present invention.

In the following description, the direction is the progress from the starting point of the arrow to the end point, and the movement on the line connecting the starting point and end point of the arrow is the direction. The up-down direction 7, the front-back direction 8, and the left-right direction 9 are given as directions related to the toilet room 1. The front-back direction 8 and the left-right direction 9 are both horizontal directions perpendicular to the up-down direction 7 and perpendicular to each other. The front-back direction 8 is the direction of the short side of the rectangular outer shape of the floor 11, which will be described in detail later. The left-right direction 9 is the direction of the long side of the rectangular shape of the floor 11. In addition, a user of the toilet room 1 is referred to as a "user".

[Overall configuration of toilet room 1]
As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the toilet room 1 is a public toilet installed in a public facility such as a station, an airport, a commercial facility, or an office building. The toilet room 1 may be independently located outdoors. A plurality of toilet bowls 152 (Western-style toilet bowls) and sinks are installed in the toilet room 1 so that a plurality of users who use the public facility can enter and use the room at the same time. The toilet room 1 is located, for example, along a single linear first passage 100 extending in the left-right direction 9. The interior 10 of the toilet room 1 is accessible (entering and exiting) from the first passage 100. The toilet room 1 includes a floor 11, a plurality of walls 20, a first opening 30, a second opening 40, a booth 50, a first partition plate 60, a first washbasin 70, and a second washbasin 80.

[Floor 11]
As shown in Fig. 1, the floor 11 has a rectangular outer diameter in a plan view. The floor 11 is, for example, a rectangle that is long in the left-right direction 9. The front end of the floor 11 extends in the left-right direction 9 along (adjacent to) the rear end of the first passage 100. Each piece of equipment in the toilet room 1 is disposed on the floor 11. The dimensions of the floor 11 in the front-rear direction 8 and the left-right direction 9 are large enough to accommodate a plurality of booths 50 (described later) and second wash basins 80 (described later) side by side.

[Wall 20]
The wall 20 rises from the floor 11. For example, the wall 20 rises upward from the positions of each side of the rectangular floor 11. That is, the wall 20 rises upward from each of the four sides of the rectangular floor 11. The outer shape of the wall 20 in a plan view is rectangular. In FIG. 1 , the wall 20 has a front wall 22, a rear wall 23, a left wall 24, and a right wall 25.

The front wall 22 rises upward from the front edge of the floor 11 and extends to a ceiling (not shown). The rear wall 23 rises upward from the rear edge of the floor 11 and extends to a ceiling (not shown). The left wall 24 rises upward from the left edge of the floor 11 and extends to a ceiling (not shown). The right wall 25 rises upward from the right edge of the floor 11 and extends to a ceiling (not shown). The front wall 22, the rear wall 23, the left wall 24, the right wall 25, the floor 11, and the ceiling partition the interior 10 of the toilet room 1. In other words, the area surrounded by the front wall 22, the rear wall 23, the left wall 24, the right wall 25, the floor 11, and the ceiling is the interior 10 of the toilet room 1. The front wall 22 extends along the first passage 100 and separates the interior 10 of the toilet room 1 from the first passage 100. The interior space 10, which is partitioned by multiple walls 20, has a rectangular outer diameter when viewed from above.

[First opening 30, second opening 40]
The first opening 30 and the second opening 40 are located in the wall 20. In this embodiment, the first opening 30 and the second opening 40 are located in the front wall 22. The first opening 30 and the second opening 40 penetrate the front wall 22. Specifically, the first opening 30 and the second opening 40 penetrate the front wall 22 along the front-rear direction 8. The lower ends of the first opening 30 and the second opening 40 are partitioned by, for example, the floor 11. In other words, the positions of the lower ends of the first opening 30 and the second opening 40 are the floor 11. The first opening 30 and the second opening 40 are adjacent to each other. In this embodiment, the first opening 30 and the second opening 40 are located near the center of the front wall 22 and are adjacent to each other in the left-right direction 9. The first opening 30 is, for example, an entrance for entering the room 10 from the first passage 100. The second opening 40 is, for example, an exit for exiting the room 10 to the first passage 100. In this embodiment, the first opening 30 is located on the right side of the second opening 40. The second opening 40 is located on the left side of the first opening 30.

[Booth 50]
The booths 50 are spaces partitioned into a substantially rectangular outer diameter in a plan view. The booths 50 are arranged along the wall 20 where the first opening 30 and the second opening 40 are not located. The booths 50 are arranged in a first booth row 51 along the front-rear direction 8 (an example of a first direction) and a second booth row 52 along the left-right direction 9 (an example of a second direction) intersecting with the front-rear direction 8. In this embodiment, the booths 50 are arranged along the walls 20 other than the front wall 22. Specifically, the first booth row 51 is arranged along the front end to the rear end of the right wall 25. The second booth row 52 is arranged along the right end to the left end of the rear wall 23. Each booth 50 included in the first booth row 51 is partitioned on one side in the horizontal direction (right side) by the right wall 25. Each booth 50 included in the second booth row 52 is partitioned on one side in the horizontal direction (rear side) by the rear wall 23.

Between adjacent booths 50, a partition 53 is located, which is a plate having a main surface extending in the vertical direction 7. Adjacent booths 50 are separated by the partition 53 extending from the wall 20 located on one side toward the room 10. In this embodiment, a multi-purpose toilet 55 having a larger floor area than the other booths 50 is located in a corner 54 separated by the right wall 25 and the rear wall 23, and in a corner 54 separated by the rear wall 23 and the left wall 24. The multi-purpose toilet 55 is separated on two sides by two adjacent walls 20. The booth 50 has an entrance/exit 151, a toilet 152, and a display unit 153. In FIG. 1, the booth 50 adjacent to the front edge of the right wall 25 is a tool room, and does not have a toilet 152 or the like.

[Entrance/exit 151]
The entrance/exit 151 leads from the outside of the booth 50 to the internal space 57 of the booth 50. The entrance/exit 151 is located between the ends of the partitions 53 in the extension direction. The left and right ends and the bottom end of the entrance/exit 151 are defined by the ends of the adjacent partitions 53 in the extension direction and the floor 11. The upper end of the entrance/exit 151 is open toward the ceiling.

For example, an opening/closing door 154 is located at the entrance/exit 151. The opening/closing door 154 is, for example, a plate-shaped hinged door 155 or a plate-shaped sliding door 156, and when closed, it extends between adjacent partitions 53 in a direction intersecting the extension direction. The opening/closing door 154 is in either an open state in which the entrance/exit 151 is open, or a closed state in which the entrance/exit 151 is closed. When open, the opening/closing door 154 opens the space between the ends of adjacent partitions 53 in the extension direction. When open, it is possible to enter and exit the internal space 57 of the booth 50 from the entrance/exit 151. When closed, the opening/closing door 154 closes the space between the ends of adjacent partitions 53 in the extension direction. When closed, it is not possible to enter and exit the internal space 57 of the booth 50 from the entrance/exit 151. In the closed state, the opening and closing door 154 is locked (immobile) to one of the partitions 53 by a lock (not shown). The opening and closing door 154 remains closed until the lock is released (unlocked).

When the opening/closing door 154 is a hinged door 155, the hinged door 155 is, for example, pivoted at one end in the extension direction of the other partition 53. The hinged door 155 is biased in a direction that rotates toward the internal space 57 of the booth 50. The hinged door 155 is maintained in an open state by rotating toward and contacting the other partition 53 due to the bias. The hinged door 155 is maintained in a closed state by rotating against the bias and being locked to one of the partitions 53 by a lock.

When the opening/closing door 154 is a sliding door 156, the sliding door 156 is switched between an open state and a closed state, for example, by being moved between the leading ends of adjacent partitions 53. The sliding door 156 is switched between an open state that opens a part of the entrance 151 and a closed state that closes the entrance 151, for example, by three plates moving in conjunction with each other along the leading ends of adjacent partitions 53 in the extension direction. In the closed state, the sliding door 156 is locked (locked) by a lock to prevent it from moving, thereby maintaining the closed state.

[Toilet Bowl 152]
The toilet bowl 152 is placed on the floor 11 of the booth 50. The toilet bowl 152 is adjacent to the wall 20 that partitions the booth 50. The toilet bowl 152 is, for example, a Western-style toilet bowl.

[Display section 153]
As shown in FIG. 2, the display unit 153 is located near the entrance 151. The display unit 153 is supported, for example, on the leading end of the other partition 53 in the extending direction. The display unit 153 is, for example, an indicator light, and indicates the open/closed state of the entrance 151 (opening/closing door 154). The display unit 153 can light up, for example, either red or green. The display unit 153 has a switch (not shown) that is in contact with or not in contact with the opening/closing door 154 depending on the open/closed state of the opening/closing door 154. When the opening/closing door 154 in the open state is not in contact with the switch, the display unit 153 lights up in green indicating the open state. When the opening/closing door 154 in the closed state is in contact with the switch, the display unit 153 lights up in red indicating the closed state. That is, the display unit 153 lights up in green to indicate that the booth 50 is unused. The display unit 153 lights up in red to indicate that the booth 50 is in use. As shown in FIG. 2, the display unit 153 is located higher than the upper end of a first partition plate 60, which will be described later.

[First partition plate 60]
1, the first partition plate 60 is a plate body. The outer shape of the first partition plate 60 in a plan view is, for example, rectangular. The first partition plate 60 includes, for example, at least a light-transmitting material. In this embodiment, the first partition plate 60 is entirely made of a light-transmitting material. Examples of the light-transmitting material include acrylic, polycarbonate, polystyrene, AS resin, silicone resin, inorganic glass, and transparent ceramics.

A plurality of first partition plates 60 are located between the first opening 30 and the second opening 40 and the booth 50. The plurality of first partition plates 60 are connected so as to be continuous. The plurality of first partition plates 60 extend along the booth 50. The plurality of first partition plates 60 extend, for example, along the entrance/exit 151 of the booth 50. The area partitioned by the plurality of first partition plates 60 and the entrance/exit 151 of each booth 50 is a second passage 56 (an example of a passage) through which users entering each booth 50 walk. In this embodiment, the plurality of first partition plates 60 further extend along the plurality of second washbasins 80 described later. As a result, the outer shape of the first partition plate 60 in a plan view is, for example, a U-shape that opens to the front. By making the first partition 60 from a transparent material, the presence or absence of a user or an object (not shown) in the second passage 56 can be confirmed (visually recognized) from the room 10 on the first opening 30 side through the first partition 60. This improves the security of the room 10 even if the second passage 56 is partitioned by the booth 50 and the first partition 60. Here, "being able to confirm (visually recognize)" is not limited to being able to clearly confirm the user or object in the second passage 56 to an identifiable degree through the translucent material of the first partition 60. "Being able to confirm (visually recognize)" may also mean being able to confirm the presence of a user or object in the second passage 56 by a silhouette or the like.

The first partition plate 60 has a third opening 62 that connects the second passage 56 with a partial area 61 of the floor 11. Here, the "partial area 61 of the floor 11" is, for example, an area located forward of the first partition plate 60 and located opposite the booth 50 across the first partition plate 60. In this embodiment, the "partial area 61 of the floor 11" is, for example, a rectangular area that is bounded on three sides by the first partition plate 60. In the "partial area 61 of the floor 11" in this embodiment, the front end is bounded by an imaginary line 63 that connects the ends of the first partition plate 60 that are most forward.

The third opening 62 is, for example, a gap located between at least a portion of a plurality of consecutive first partition plates 60. The lower end of the third opening 62 is defined by the floor 11. The upper end of the third opening 62 is open toward the ceiling. The horizontal width of the third opening 62 is, for example, large enough to allow users to pass through. The position of the upper end of the first partition plate 60 is lower than the upper end of the partition 53 of the booth 50. Specifically, the position of the upper end of the first partition plate 60 is lower than the position of the display unit 153. As a result, as shown in FIG. 2, the state of the display unit 153 is visible from the position of the first opening 30.

[First washbasin 70]
The first washbasin 70 is a so-called sink. The first washbasin 70 has an outer diameter of approximately a rectangle in a plan view. A plurality of first washbasins 70 are located. The plurality of first washbasins 70 are located on a partial area of the floor 11. The plurality of first washbasins 70 are supported above the upper surface of the floor 11 by, for example, a support base 72 placed on the floor. The outer shape of the support base 72 in a plan view is rectangular. The first washbasin 70 is supported by the support base 72 at a position lower than the upper end of the first partition plate 60. This can prevent the first washbasin 70 from blocking the user's view when the user views the second passage 56 from the partial area 61 of the floor 11 or the first opening 30 through the first partition plate 60. In addition, the first washbasin 70 can prevent the first washbasin 70 from blocking the view of the user viewing the display unit 153 from the first opening 30.

In this embodiment, the multiple first washbasins 70 are positioned on the support base 72 in pairs in the front-to-rear direction 8 and multiple in the left-to-right direction 9. Between the multiple first washbasins 70 arranged in pairs in the front-to-rear direction is a mirror 73 that protrudes upward from the upper surface of the support base 72 and extends in the left-to-right direction 9. The position of the upper end of the mirror 73 is lower than the upper end of the first partition plate 60. Multiple users positioned in a partial area 61 of the floor 11 can wash their hands at each of the first washbasins 70 simultaneously.

[Second washbasin 80]
The second washstand 80 is a so-called sink. A plurality of second washstands 80 are located along the wall 20. Specifically, a plurality of second washstands 80 are located along the wall 20 where the first opening 30 and the second opening 40 are not located. In this embodiment, a plurality of second washstands 80 are located along the left wall 24 from the front end of the left wall 24 to a position adjacent to the multi-purpose toilet 55 at the rear end. A plate-shaped second partition plate 81 extending in the vertical direction 7 is located between each of the second washstands 80. The second washstand 80 is partitioned from the adjacent second washstand 80 by the second partition plate 81. The upper end of the second partition plate 81 is, for example, located at a position sufficiently higher than the height of the user and is made of a non-translucent material. As a result, the second washstand 80 is not visible to the user at the adjacent second washstand 80.

[Flow of one user using booth 50]
A user enters the toilet room 1 by passing through the first opening 30 from the first passage 100. As shown in FIG. 2 , a user who has entered the toilet room 1 can grasp the approximate location of an empty (unused) booth 50 by checking a display unit 153 located at the top of the booth 50.

After identifying an available booth 50, the user moves to the right between the first washstand 70 (support stand 72) and the front wall 22. When the user passes the position of the first partition 60, the user reaches the entrance 58 of the second passage 56 from which the entrance 151 of each booth 50 can be accessed. The user enters the second passage 56 between the first partition 60 and the first booth row 51. By passing through the second passage 56, the user passes in front of the entrances 151 of the multiple booths 50 included in the first booth row 51 and the second booth row 52. The user can enter the booth 50 by reaching the booth 50 identified using the display unit 153 or the booth 50 that has become unused after being identified. When the user enters the booth 50, the opening and closing door 154 is closed. When the opening and closing door 154 is closed, the light of the display unit 153 changes from green to red. This makes it possible to inform other users that the booth 50 is in use.

When a user leaves the booth 50, the door 154 opens and the display 153 turns green. The user who leaves the booth 50 moves from the third opening 62 located in the first partition 60 to the first sink 70 located in the partial area 61. After washing their hands at the first sink 70, the user exits from the second opening 40 to the first passage 100. This allows the user to use the booth 50.

[Continuous flow of multiple users using booth 50]
When multiple users use the booths 50 in succession, the multiple users enter the toilet room 1 in sequence through the first passage 100 and the first opening 30. The multiple users can look around the room 10 from the position where they entered the room 10 from the first opening 30 and check the approximate location of the vacant (unused) booth 50 from the display of the display unit 153. The multiple users who have grasped the approximate location of the vacant booth 50 start moving toward the vacant booth 50 in sequence. The first washbasin 70 and the support stand 72 are located between the first opening 30 and each booth 50 (a partial area 61 of the floor 11). Therefore, the multiple users start moving toward the right along the front wall 22 so as to go around the first washbasin 70 and the support stand 72. When the multiple users pass the position of the first partition board 60, they reach the entrance 58 of the second passage 56 that can access the entrance 151 of each booth 50.

In order to move toward a booth 50 whose approximate location is known, multiple users enter the second passage 56 and move in front of the first booth row 51. The user walking at the front can walk while looking over the first booth row 51, and can proceed while checking the open/closed status of the open/close doors 154 of the entire first booth row 51 and the lighting status of the display units 153 (i.e., the availability of the booths 50). The leading user can enter the identified booth 50 in the first booth row 51 or a booth 50 ahead in the direction of travel that has become unused after being identified. If there is no availability in the first booth row 51, the leading user can move in front of the entrance/exit 151 of the second booth row 52 connected to the first booth row 51 and enter the identified booth 50 or a booth 50 ahead in the direction of travel that has become unused after being identified.

The second passage 56 is divided into left and right in the travel direction by the first partition 60 and the first and second booth rows 51 and 52. Therefore, it is difficult for the user walking next to the first user to pass the first partition 60 and pass the first user to enter an empty booth 50. The user walking next to the first user becomes the first user when the first user enters the booth 50, and can confirm and enter an empty booth 50 ahead in the travel direction. In this way, it is difficult for the user walking next to the first user to pass the first user, so order in the movement of users from entering the toilet room 1 to the booth 50 can be maintained.

A user who has left the booth 50 can move directly to the first washbasin 70 by crossing the second passage 56 and passing through the nearest third opening 62. A user who has washed their hands at the first washbasin 70 can leave the toilet room 1 by passing through the second opening 40. This allows a user who has left the booth 50 to quickly leave the toilet room 1.

[Flow of users using the second washbasin 80]
A user enters the toilet room 1 by passing through the first opening 30 from the first passage 100. After entering the toilet room 1, the user passes between the first washbasin 70 and the front wall 22, and moves to the entrance 58 of the second passage 56. The user passes through the second passage 56 and moves to the position of the second washbasin 80 in front of the left wall 24. After using the second washbasin 80, the user exits from the second opening 40 to the first passage 100. The second washbasin 80 is partitioned by a second partition board 81 so that it is easy to use for users who occupy it for a long time, and therefore it is possible to prevent the first washbasin 70 from being occupied and becoming crowded.

(Effects of this embodiment)
A plurality of users who enter the room 10 from the first opening 30 move in front of the entrances 151 of the plurality of booths 50 along the second passage 56, so that the flow of users from the first opening 30 to an available booth 50 is regulated. Users who enter the room 10 first can reach an available booth 50 in order. This makes it possible to maintain order among users until they reach the booth 50. Users who leave the booth 50 leave the toilet room 1 through the second opening 40. The flow of users is separated by the first opening 30 and the second opening 40, so that the movement of users entering and exiting the toilet room 1 is smooth.

All of the toilets 152 in the booths 50 are Western-style toilets. This allows the toilet room 1 to be unisex. This avoids a situation where only one toilet room 1 becomes crowded, as would occur if toilet rooms 1 were provided separately for men and women, and thus reduces congestion in the toilet room 1.

A user who leaves the booth 50 and enters the second passage 56 can move through the third opening 62 to the area where the first washbasin 70 is located.

The booths 50 are arranged in the first booth row 51 and the second booth row 52, so that the booths 50 are arranged efficiently in the toilet room 1.

For example, if a user wishes to use the second washbasin 80 for a longer period of time than washing hands, such as to touch up makeup, the area where the first washbasin 70 is located can be prevented from becoming crowded.

The display unit 153 indicates the lock status of the booth 50, making it easy to check the vacancy status of the booth 50.

The display unit 153 is positioned higher than the top end of the first partition plate 60, so the usage status of the booth 50 can be easily confirmed at the first opening 30.

Because the first partition plate 60 is made of a translucent material, the visibility of the second passage 56 from the first opening 30 and the first washbasin 70 is improved. In the unisex toilet room 1, security is improved and the user's sense of security is improved.

(Modification)
In the above embodiment, the first partition 60 does not have to be positioned between the left wall 24 (the second sink 80) and the first sink 70. This allows the user to go directly from the first opening 30 to the second sink 80 without going through the second passage 56. By separating the flow lines of the users heading to the second sink 80 and the users heading to the booths 50, congestion in the second passage 56 can be prevented.

In the above embodiment, the display unit 153 is an indicator light, but this is not limited to this. The display unit 153 may be, for example, a bulletin board that displays characters, etc. Furthermore, the lighting color of the display unit 153 is not limited to red and green, and various colors may be used as long as it is possible to distinguish between an empty room and an occupied room.

In the above embodiment, the first partition 60 may also be located between the front wall 22 and the first washbasin 70. This allows the second passage 56 to be extended from between the front wall 22 and the new first partition 60 to the first opening 30. This makes it easier to guide users who enter through the first opening 30 to the booth 50.

In the above embodiment, the outer shape of the floor 11 in plan view is not limited to a rectangle. The outer shape of the floor 11 in plan view may be a polygon. The inner surface of the wall 20 rising from each side of the polygonal floor 11 is flat, and the booth 50 may be located along the inner surface of a wall 20 different from the wall 20 on which the first opening 30 and the second opening 40 are located. The booth 50 is not located along a wall 20 on which the display unit 153 cannot be seen when a user who enters from the first opening 30 looks around the room 10. This allows the user to look around the entire vacant booth 50 from the first opening 30.

In the above embodiment, the toilet room 1 is provided with both the first washbasin 70 and the second washbasin 80, but it may be provided with either one. For example, in the toilet room 1, the washbasins may be concentrated at the position of the first washbasin 70, and a booth 50 may be added along the left wall 24 at the position of the second washbasin 80. Also, in the toilet room 1, the washbasins may be concentrated at the position of the second washbasin 80, and a portion 61 of the floor 11 may be used as a meeting space or a space for breaks.

In the above embodiment, the display unit 153 is located higher than the upper end of the first partition plate 60, but this is not limited to the above. The display unit 153 may be located lower than the upper end of the first partition plate 60 and may be visible through the translucent material of the first partition plate 60.

In the above embodiment, the entire first partition plate 60 is made of a light-transmitting material, but this is not limited thereto. The light-transmitting material may constitute a part of the first partition plate 60. The "part of the first partition plate 60" refers to a part of the first partition plate 60 that is exposed on both main surfaces, and is a part that allows light incident on one of the exposed main surfaces to exit from the other main surface. The light-transmitting material, for example, divides a part of each of the main surfaces that overlap in the thickness direction of the first partition plate 60. The outer shape of the light-transmitting material in a planar view may be, for example, a circle or a polygon. The light-transmitting material may be located at least in one of the center, upper end, lower end, left end, and right end of the first partition plate 60. As an example, the light-transmitting material may have an outer diameter that is rectangular in a planar view, and may be located at the left end or right end of the first partition plate 60 so as to extend from the upper end to the lower end of both main surfaces along the up-down direction 7. This allows the condition of the second passage 56 to be visible from a portion of the floor 11, i.e., from a portion of the second passage 56 (first opening 30), while making a portion of the second passage 56 invisible, thereby ensuring a good balance between improved security and protection of user privacy.

In the above embodiment, the first partition plate 60 does not need to include a translucent material. The first partition plate 60 may be configured to allow the second passage 56 to be viewed from a portion 61 of the floor 11 by, for example, a slit, a lattice, an openable window penetrating in the thickness direction, or the like.
