Claims (14)
- 被処理流体を分散する分散機であって、前記分散機が、
テーパー状内周面を一部の領域に有する筒状の外側部材と、
前記外側部材の前記テーパー状内周面に対向するテーパー状外周面を一部の領域に有し、前記外側部材の径方向の内側に配置される内側部材と、を備え、
前記外側部材と前記内側部材との間には、軸方向の一側から他側へ流体が流通する流通路が設けられ、
前記流通路は、前記一側から前記他側へ螺旋状に周回する第1領域と、前記第1領域から前記他側へ連続する第2領域とを含み、
前記流通路の前記第2領域は、前記テーパー状内周面と前記テーパー状外周面とによって区画され、
前記軸方向の断面における前記テーパー状内周面及び前記テーパー状外周面の一方に対する他方の角度を、前記第2領域の途中で異なる角度にすることによって、前記テーパー状内周面と前記テーパー状外周面との間のクリアランス距離が異なる領域を、前記流通路の前記第2領域に設け、
前記被処理流体を前記流通路に流す使用状態において、前記外側部材と前記内側部材とを相対回転させずに、前記被処理流体が前記流通路に圧送されて移動する
ことを特徴とする分散機。 - 前記外側部材は、前記テーパー状内周面の前記一側に位置する雌ねじ状内周面を有し、
前記内側部材は、前記テーパー状外周面の前記一側に位置して前記雌ねじ状内周面に対応する雄ねじ状外周面を有し、前記外側部材に対してねじ状に組み付けられ、
前記流通路の前記第1領域は、前記雌ねじ状内周面と前記雄ねじ状外周面とによって区画され、
前記流通路の前記第1領域の流路面積は、前記雌ねじ状内周面及び前記雄ねじ状外周面の形状によって規定される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の分散機。 - 前記流通路の前記第2領域は、前記クリアランス距離が前記一側から前記他側へ向かうほど狭くなる縮小領域と、前記縮小領域から前記他側へ連続し前記クリアランス距離が一定の一定領域とを有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の分散機。 - 前記流通路の前記第2領域の前記一定領域は、前記軸方向の断面における前記一側から前記他側への流路方向に沿った長さが1mm以上に設定される
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の分散機。 - 前記雌ねじ状内周面と前記雄ねじ状外周面とは、互いのねじ山の角度が違うことによって、互いの形状が異なっている
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の分散機。 - 前記流通路の前記第2領域の前記一定領域の前記クリアランス距離は、0.1μm以上2mm以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の分散機。 - 前記テーパー状内周面及び前記テーパー状外周面のうち、前記流通路の前記第2領域の前記一定領域を区画する領域は、セラミックス製である
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の分散機。 - 前記外側部材と前記内側部材とを相対回転させることによって、前記外側部材と前記内側部材とを分解することなく、前記テーパー状内周面と前記テーパー状外周面とを接触させた接触状態、前記分散機を使用する際の前記クリアランス距離が短い使用状態、及び前記クリアランス距離を前記使用状態よりも離間させた離間状態のいずれかの状態に選択的にすることができる
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の分散機。 - 前記流通路を区画する前記外側部材の内周面及び前記内側部材の外周面は、前記流通路を流通する流体が溜まる可能性のある水平部を有しない
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の分散機。 - 前記流通路を区画する前記外側部材の内周面及び前記内側部材の外周面は、耐食材料でコーティングされている
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の分散機。 - 前記コーティングは、フッ素樹脂コーティングである
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の分散機。 - 前記外側部材及び前記内側部材の少なくとも一方は、前記流通路を流通する流体の温度調節のための他の流体が流通可能なジャケットを有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の分散機。 - 請求項8に記載の分散機の使用方法であって、
前記クリアランス距離を調整する際には、前記外側部材に対して前記内側部材が前記他側へ移動するように前記外側部材と前記内側部材とを相対回転させて前記接触状態にした後、前記外側部材に対して前記内側部材が前記一側へ移動するように前記外側部材と前記内側部材とを相対回転させて前記使用状態へ調整する
ことを特徴とする分散機の使用方法。 - 請求項8又は請求項13に記載の分散機の使用方法であって、
前記流通路を洗浄又は滅菌する際には、前記外側部材と前記内側部材とを前記離間状態にする
ことを特徴とする分散機の使用方法。
