Recently, the use of automatic drafting machines that combine microcomputers with drafting machines to automatically and quickly produce ink drawings has become popular. In this case, instead of the conventional inking pen, a drafting pen having a structure as shown in FIG. 1, for example, is used by being attached to the head of the drafting machine. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a pen tip, which is shaped like a pipe and has a diameter corresponding to the thickness of the required line. 2
is a pen nib support body which has a threaded part 2a for screwing the holder 5 described later on its outer surface, and an air passage 2b extending spirally along the threaded part surface, and has internally a threaded part 2a at one end and an upper part of the air passage 2b. It consists of a cylindrical part having a cavity 2c communicating with it 2b', and a pen tip holding part having an umbrella-shaped hole 2d inside thereof communicating with the cavity 2c and the pen tip 1 held therein.

Reference numeral 3 denotes a cylindrical falling weight, which is formed to create a gap for ink circulation between its outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface of the cavity 2c, and is movably housed within the cavity 2c. The lower end is restrained at the point of communication between the cavity 2c and the umbrella-shaped hole 2d.

3a is a notch for ink distribution provided at a part of the lower end of the falling weight 3, and 4 is a needle that is thinner than the inner diameter of the pen tip 1 connected to the center of the lower end of the falling weight 3, and is inserted through the umbrella-shaped hole 2d. The tip is positioned within the pen nib 1 so that the tip slightly protrudes from the tip of the nib 1.

However, with such a pen, if an attempt is made to speed up drawing by increasing the running speed of the pen, the ink delivery will not be able to keep up with the running of the pen. This places restrictions on the running speed, and although the maximum speed varies depending on the type of paper and ink, it is generally about 15 m/min for a 0.13φ pen. In addition, if you make the pen tip extremely thin to draw even thinner lines, the ink will not come out well and the lines will become blurred.
At present, it is impossible to draw a line with a line width of 0.1φ or less. The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and utilizes ultrasonic vibration to promote the delivery of ink, thereby making it possible to draw high-speed drawings using fine lines.

In the drawing pen of this embodiment, if the ultrasonic oscillator 24 is connected to the first and second electrodes 10 and 12 and the first and second piezoelectric elements 11 and 13 are excited, the first and second piezoelectric elements 11 and 13 are excited. The metal resonators 9 and 14 vibrate in the direction of the pen axis, and this vibration vibrates the entire pen containing ink to apply vibration pressure, and at the same time destroys the boundary layer between the ink and the wall of the ink flow path. This reduces frictional resistance and promotes ink flow.

Therefore, in the case of an automatic drafting machine, if the vibration force is appropriately selected according to the running speed of the pen, the ink will flow smoothly according to the running speed of the pen, and even if the pen runs at high speed, the ink will not flow. It is possible to draw at high speed without the lines becoming blurred due to poor ink flow or the lines becoming smudged due to excessive ink flow. Furthermore, even in the case of a thin pen tip, the supply of ink is promoted, thereby preventing line breaks (fading). Furthermore, this drawing pen uses ultrasonic waves to vibrate at a high frequency during drawing, so if the pen pressure on the paper is set appropriately, the pen moves while the pen tip approaches and separates from the paper surface in extremely short time intervals. This reduces the frictional resistance between the paper and the pen tip.

Therefore, the wear of the pen tip is reduced and the life of the pen can be extended. In addition, in this embodiment structure, the piezoelectric element, that is, the driving source is placed at the end, and the hollow cover is used as a horn, which reduces weight.
Since the piezoelectric element is sandwiched between the second metal resonators and assembled, the assembly is easy. Although two piezoelectric elements are used above, it goes without saying that one or more piezoelectric elements may be used.

Also, a magnetostrictive vibrator can be used instead of the piezoelectric element. Furthermore, although an ink cartridge type ink cartridge has been described above, it is obvious that the ink cartridge type ink cartridge can also be applied to a structure having an ink chamber in which ink is filled. As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a drafting pen that does not cause lines to break or become blurred even when using a thin nib or when running at a high speed. It is highly effective when used for high-speed drafting using automatic drafting machines.
