Recently, the use of automatic drafting machines that combine microcomputers with drafting machines to automatically and quickly produce ink drawings has become popular. In this case, instead of the traditional coracoid for inking,
For example, a drafting pen having a structure as shown in FIG. 1 is used by being attached to the head of a drafting machine. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a pen tip, which is shaped like a pipe and has a diameter corresponding to the thickness of the required line. 2
It is a tip support body, and has a threaded part 2a for screwing the holder 5 described later on its outer surface, and an air passage 2b extending spirally along the threaded part surface, and has one end of said air passage 2b inside. It consists of a cylindrical part having a cavity 2c communicating with the body 2b', and a pen tip holding part having an umbrella-shaped hole 2d inside thereof communicating the cavity 2c and the held pen tip 1.

Reference numeral 3 denotes a cylindrical falling weight, which is formed to create a gap for ink circulation between its outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface of the cavity 2c, and is movably housed within the cavity 2c. Moreover, the lower end is restrained at the point of communication between the cavity 2c and the umbrella-shaped hole 2d.

However, with such a pen, if an attempt is made to speed up drawing by increasing the running speed of the pen, the ink delivery will not be able to keep up with the running of the pen. This puts a limit on the running speed, and although the maximum speed varies depending on the type of paper and ink, it is generally about 15 m/min with a 0.3φ pen tip. Furthermore, if the pen tip is made extremely thin in order to draw even thinner lines, the flow of ink will be poor and the lines will become blurred or broken, so it is currently impossible to draw lines with a line width of 0.1φ or less. It is possible. The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and utilizes ultrasonic vibrations to promote the delivery of ink, thereby making it possible to speed up drawing and create drawings using thin lines. Next, it will be explained in detail using the drawings. FIG. 2 is a partial cross-sectional structural view showing an embodiment of the present invention, and in the figure, parts referenced by reference numerals 1 to 9 indicate parts equivalent to those of the same reference numerals in FIG. Reference numeral 10 denotes a magnetostrictive rod-shaped body forming a vibrated body, which is sealed in the ink cartridge 7 in a free state.

Reference numerals 11 and below form an excitation part, of which 11 is an excitation winding 11a, its lead wire, and 12 is a winding frame. The winding frame 12 is then screwed onto the holder 5.
A cover member 9 made of a non-magnetic material is placed over this and screwed onto the base of the holder 5 to protect the excitation winding 11. In this drafting pen, the lead wire 11a of the excitation part
When an ultrasonic oscillator 13, which is an excitation power source, is connected to excite the excitation winding 11, the magnetostrictive rod-shaped body 10 inside the ink cartridge 7 vibrates in the direction of the pen axis, and the ink 8 inside the cartridge mainly receives energy. At the same time as the vibration pressure in the direction of the pen axis is applied, the boundary layer between the ink and the wall surface of the ink flow path is destroyed, the frictional resistance is reduced, and the ink flows down.
Therefore, in the case of an automatic drafting machine, if the vibration force is adjusted appropriately according to the running speed of the pen, the ink will flow down in accordance with the running speed of the pen, and the ink will not come out even if the pen runs at high speed. It is possible to draw ink drawings at high speed without the lines becoming blurred or becoming smudged due to excessive ink flow. In addition, good drawings can be made even with a thin pen tip. The present invention has been described above with reference to one embodiment. Instead of the magnetostrictive rod-shaped body 10 shown in FIG. The powder may be vibrated to promote the flow of ink. In this case, it is necessary to select the particle size so that the powder does not clog the gap between the pen and the needle and impede the flow of ink. In addition, as shown in the cross-sectional view of main parts shown in FIG. 3 (the same symbols as in FIGS. 1 and 2 indicate the same parts), a horn 14, which is a vibrated body, is inserted into the ink cartridge 7. It is also possible to apply ultrasonic vibration to the ink by vibrating it by an electrostrictive or magnetostrictive element 15 that forms an excitation section provided at the upper end of the ink. Furthermore, a sectional view of the main part shown in Fig. 4 (
The same symbols as in FIGS. 1 and 2 indicate equivalent parts. ), electrodes 17a and 17b supported by an insulator 16 are provided in the ink cartridge 7, and a discharge is caused between the electrodes to vibrate the bottomed cylinder 18, which is the body to be vibrated, and the ink 8 It is also possible to apply ultrasonic vibration to. Note that 18 is a bottomed cylinder filled with water or oil, which also serves to isolate the ink and the electrodes and prevent the ink from deteriorating due to discharge. Although the drawing pen using an ink cartridge has been described above, it goes without saying that the present invention can also be applied to a pen having an ink chamber and having a structure in which ink is filled. As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the delivery of ink can be reliably promoted, so the traveling speed of the drafting pen can be improved, and the great advantage that it is possible to draw lines with a thin line width is obtained. The practical effects are great.
