However, in the case of extremely large structures such as offshore oil field work platforms,
The height and width of the substructure are too large to fit into a normal dock, and the lifting height of the crane is insufficient, making it impossible to use normal construction methods.

1. A construction method for a super-large structure consisting of an upper structure and a lower structure, where the lower structure is composed of a plurality of main body columns and intermediate members placed between these main body columns. Assemble some of the main body columns on the upper surface of both sides in a horizontal position, assemble some of the intermediate members between the two main body columns via the purge floating in the dock, and then install a part of the intermediate members slightly above some of the main body columns. Assemble the remaining main body pillars in place, and with the guide device installed between the upper and lower main body pillars, raise the upper main body pillar to the specified position using the jacking device, and then assemble the remaining intermediate members between each main body pillar. Assemble the
Therefore, the lower structure is built in a horizontal position, and after the construction of this lower structure is completed, the upper structure built elsewhere is moved in a horizontal position into the dock via a purge, and the ballast adjustment for the purge is carried out. A method of constructing a super-large structure, which comprises aligning the upper structure with respect to the lower structure using a method, and then joining the side structures.
