In recent years, with the development of electrical equipment, the number of new parts has increased,
A high degree of reliability is required, and in order to increase the reliability of potentiometers and other sliding brushes that are used in many other applications, sliding brushes with multiple lines, that is, multi-point contact at points or surfaces, are used. A brush that improves the stability of the contact is being considered.

However, in order to manufacture such a brush, 20 to 100 ultra-fine wires of several tens of wires must be welded to the base plate, resulting in extremely poor productivity, and the welding may only be done partially. Parts of the wire may melt too much, causing them to fall off or break, especially when forming the ultra-fine wire after welding.

Kametomi is a transfer guide for sliding brush material P obtained by welding base material B to Chikuto extra-fine wire W. Next, a method of manufacturing a sliding brush material using the manufacturing apparatus of the present invention configured as described above will be explained. No. 2 As shown in Figure 2
The ultra-fine wire W spun out from each reel box, each of which is attached in large numbers to the book reel ball 2, is transferred to the primary collection device 3.
Here, the distance between the ultra-thin wires W is narrowed, and the overall dimension in the middle direction is reduced to about 1×4. Even when the large number of ultra-fine wires W coming out of the collection device 3 are sent to the alignment device 4, the intervals between the ultra-fine wires W are adjusted and overlapping is prevented. A large number of aligned ultra-fine wires W are then sent to a collection device 5~
Here, the dimension of the entire ultra-fine wire W in the middle direction is reduced to near the required final middle dimension. Next, a large number of ultra-fine wires W are sent to an alignment and concentration device 6, where the ultra-fine wires W are prevented from overlapping each other and are aligned and concentrated during the required final stage. A large number of ultra-fine wires W thus arranged and concentrated are intermittently sent out successively by a predetermined length along the transfer guide 7. Next, the required medium-sized workpiece B is advanced from the right angle direction by the workpiece feeding device 9 to the lower side (sometimes the upper side) of the Shuto extra-thin line W that has been transferred from the transfer guide 7 and temporarily stopped. It is fed and set on the lower electrode 10a of the welding equipment 10. Next, the upper Isogoku 10b is lowered, and the Shuto ultra-fine wire W and the base material B are welded to obtain a sliding brush material P. Upper electrode 10b after welding
When the movement rises, the Shuto ultra-thin wire W is again transferred from the transfer guide 7 by a predetermined length and paused, and along with this, the sliding brush material P is also sent out by a predetermined length along the transfer guide 11. - The base material B is welded to the time-stopped Shuto ultra-fine wire W as described above, and the above-mentioned operation is thereafter repeated to sequentially and intermittently manufacture the emotional brush material P.In the above embodiment, , At least one protrusion t is provided in the direction of feed of the material B on the upper surface of the material B (or the lower surface if the material B is fed above the Shuto ultra-thin line W) as shown in Fig. 3. t When this protrusion t is located at the required position of the focused ultra-fine wire W sent out from the transfer guide 7, the stand 8 is sent out and projection welded with the focused ultra-fine wire W to produce the brush material P for sliding. ``The welding between the large number of ultra-fine wires W and the base material B becomes more reliable, and a sliding brush material P with even more stable welding strength can be obtained.

In this case, the height of the protrusion t is preferably about 30 to 80% of the wire diameter of the large number of superfine wires W to be welded. In addition, in the above embodiment, the base material B cut in advance to a certain length is fed to the lower position of the Shuto extra-fine line W, but the strip-shaped base material is intermittently cut to a fixed length on the Shuto extra-fine line. After being fed to the lower position of W, the base plate may be cut on the outside of the collecting east extra-fine wire, and then the bag east extra-fine wire W may be welded to the base material.

However, in order to manufacture a sliding brush from the sliding brush material manufactured as described above, a large number of continuous ultra-fine wires W are sequentially cut at the green end of each base material B, and each base material B' is welded. A large number of ultra-fine wires W are processed into a desired shape, or a large number of continuous ultra-fine wires W are processed into a desired shape between each platform B, and then the ultra-fine wires W are processed at the ends of each base material B. It is best to cut the edges one by one. As described in detail above, the method for manufacturing the sliding brush material of the present invention involves transporting and gathering a large number of ultra-fine wires, aligning them horizontally and concentrating them. Since the material is fed intermittently and welded to the ultra-fine wire at regular intervals, it is possible to manufacture sliding brush material extremely efficiently. Since sliding brushes can be made simply by cutting, processing, or processing and cutting wires, this greatly contributes to improving the productivity of sliding brushes. In addition, since a large number of ultra-fine wires arranged horizontally and concentrated are melted onto the base material, there is no problem of only partial welding or excessive melting of welded parts as in conventional methods. Therefore, when the Shuto ultra-fine wire is cut or formed into a sliding brush, the ultra-fine wire will not fall off or break.

In particular, in the method of the present invention, if a base material is used that has protrusions in the direction orthogonal to the ultra-fine wires on the surface to be welded with a large number of the ultra-fine wires, the ultra-fine wires and the base plate can be projected. Since it can be welded, the welding becomes more reliable, and a brush material for swamp work with stable welding strength can be obtained.

Furthermore, the manufacturing device for sliding brush materials of the present invention can carry out the above manufacturing method reliably and quickly, thereby improving the manufacturing efficiency of sliding brush materials. Moreover, since the structure is extremely simple, it can be manufactured at low cost. , easy to operate.
