【発明の詳細な説明】 本願は縁かがりとまつり縫いを同時になす縫製
ミシンに関し、更に詳しくは、掬い縫いミシンに
於いて、生地の縫縁に沿つて往復動する二本のル
ーパーを設け、三本の糸で縁かがりとまつり縫い
を同時になす様にした縫製ミシンに関する。

三本糸に依る縫製手順については次の如くであ
る。

二ルーパー21を第二ルーパー糸21Aと伴に第
一ルーパー糸11Aのループ11Bに挿通しなが
ら該糸11Aに引き掛ける。(第12図ハ及び
ニ)。次に第一ルーパー11が退き込むと共に第
二ルーパー21の糸21Aに掬い針3と伴に針糸
3Aを挿通する(第12図ホ)。次に第二ルーパ
ー21が退き込んで第一ルーパー糸のループ11
Bから脱れると共に掬い針3を針糸3Aと共に生
地2を貫通する様になす(第12図ヘ)。以上の
動作を操り返すと第13図に示す様な縫製ライン
となり、これは縁かがりとまつり縫いを伴せた縫
製となる。なお図に於いて、4は針板、5は針ガ
イド、6は縫目安定片、7は上押え、8は定規で
ある。また第二ルーパー21の描く軌道について
は、ロツド26が軸受環27aを支点として捩れ
ながら揺動しているから両端部のはね上つている
ところの鞍の周縁の様なループを呈するもので、
図示実施例では上面からみて内回りに周回する。
このとき鞍の右端部で糸を引き掛ける様に作用す
るわけである。

ねた場合等についても同様に縫製できることは勿
論である。また生地の種類についても特に区別す
ることはなく、下着から上着まで同様の縫製が可
能である。ただし下地を掬う作動は布上げ9機構
の調整に依り所定の縫目ごとに行うことができ
る。図示の縫製は縫目を1つづつ飛越して掬う例
を示している。
