本発明は、沖アミ(おきあみ目ユーフアーシ
ア)の有利な処理法に関する。 従来、沖アミから内臓および余剰な水分等を除
去し、このように処理した沖アミをすり身化して
蒲鉾等の原料として使用することが行われている
が、この場合の沖アミの脱内臓および脱水処理
は、多孔壁型遠心分離機を用いて行なつている。
しかし、このような遠心分離機を用いて、漁獲直
後の生鮮沖アミを大量に処理すると該分離機の孔
壁が目ずまりを起こすので、沖アミの処理のため
には多孔壁型遠心分離機の使用は適当でない。 本発明は、このような沖アミ処理の現状に鑑み
てなされたものであつて、沖アミの有利な処理法
の提供を目的とするものであり、沖アミを無孔壁
型遠心分離機に導入し、17720G乃至3500Gの重力
での駆動下に遠心分離処理することを特徴とす
る。 以下、本発明の構成について詳しく説明する。 本発明においては、沖アミを無孔壁型遠心分離
機に導入する。この場合、沖アミを単独又は適量
の水(海水でもよい)と共に導入すればよい。無
孔壁型遠心分離機に導入された沖アミは、該分離
機を1772G乃至3500Gの重力で駆動させることに
より該分離機内で遠心分離処理される。この場
合、沖アミは高い重力の場に存することになるた
めに全体が圧迫され、この結果、沖アミの頚胸部
の内臓および腹節の体液などが分離されるのでこ
れらを機外に排出させ、機内に残存した身肉およ
び殻を回収する。なお、本発明においては、この
ように沖アミを遠心分離処理するに際し、沖アミ
を遠心分離機に導入した後に該分離機を駆動させ
るか又は駆動中の遠心分離機に沖アミを導入すれ
ばよい。 また、本発明においては、上述したように沖ア
ミを遠心分離処理するに際し、沖アミを適量の水
(海水でもよい)と共に無孔壁型遠心分離機に導
入すると沖アミの眼球中の色素をも有効に分離除
去することができる。なお、一般に、沖アミの眼
球はビタミンAを多量に含んでいるが、赤紫色を
呈しているため、眼球を含有する沖アミから調製
したすり身は赤紫色となり商品価値を低下させる
ので、眼球中の色素を除去する必要がある。しか
し、大量の沖アミから眼球または眼球中の色素を
効果的に除去する適当な方法は現在までなかつた
のである。 以下に実施例を例示して本発明を具体的に説明
する。 実施例 1 漁獲後の生鮮沖アミを重力350×G以上、3500
×G以下で回転駆動する無孔壁型遠心分離機に流
入すると液相は脱・排水として排水口より流出し
